Completely unprofessional. If you're taking the car out of town they don't want you to take it at all. Although they advertise no problem anywhere you go this company does not want to let their cars go to a different location. Put me on hold knowing that it's me so I called with another number and ironically he's free to talk about a new rental. The last experience I had with them was very similar this company will not last. Reviews speak for themselves and obviously I'm not the only one thinking they are a complete and total piece of $#*!.
When I found out I needed a rental for another week I decided to turn the car in to Hertz and rent a different one from Enterprise. They're only a block away from Hertz and cheaper.
When I made the reservation it said I would need to show them a utility bill to verify my address. Since the utilities are in my roommate's name I called them about it. They checked and said I was already verified.
I get there and find out my previous address was verified so I'd have to bring in a utility bill to be re-verified. I again explained the situation and said I could bring in a phone, internet, or credit card bill. Nope! They'll only accept a utility bill.
Hertz was about to close. I'm exhausted, starving, freezing, and needed nicotine. So I took a cab home and reserved a new car at Hertz for tomorrow.
Poor customer service from start to finish. The agent didn't give me pricing options, was too busy talking about his back pain and wanting to hurry up with my sale to go this his appointment. I was never given options to choose from. He picked the most expensive vehicle on the lot and never told of any others that were available. He also never told me he was storing my card on file or even if it was ok with me. The company kept swiping my card even after I asked them to notify first, which they did not. I asked them to put the payment on a different card, as the repairs on mine were taking longer than expected but they kept running the card I asked them not to and never notified my of expenses or what I was paying for. They claimed I would get my deposit back in the beginning but then told me I owed more money and they were swiping ny card again even though I had paid up through my return date the day before. I was finally told after a long discussion that I would receive my deposit back to my credit card within 24hrs but still have not received it. Horrible experience. None of the agents communicated or noted my account through the process. I absolutely will never recommend this company to anyone else. Overpriced and not worth the awful experience. It was an argument almost every time and I was told that I had misprinted at one point by another agent. Still didn't receive money back or credit to my account. Save yourself the trouble. Find a better company.
Car was in the shop and needed a rental and called Enterprise. Had confirmation that a car was available at the location on Richard road in Atkins, SC. Upon arrival, two hrs from making the reservation, I was informed they had no cars. Upon expressing my displeasure and yes a cuss word was used, I was told I was not a Christian and the Manager got up and left the counter. So I will never use this firm again.
I made a reservation at the Slinger, WI Enterprise. Got there no car, I could wait for 2 hours to see if a car shows up or drive in slushy, snow covered roads to another city to get a car. They didnt seem to care that I didnt have a car. I went to Germantown and picked up a smaller car than I ordered as that is all they had. After dropping off the car in another state the personal encouraged me to pursue reimbursement for bad service. Upon calling the district manager, Paul Johnson he asked me what he could do to make it right. When I told him how he could make it right he refused and suggested half the amount. You can not count on Enterprise to have a car for you even with an email confirmation. The employees could of cared less of my dilemma. The manager said I threw paperwork at an employee when I did nothing of the sort. He said he would give me my suggested reimbursement however, threatened to ban me from car rental at Enterprise. Riduculous! I do understand that situations happen but, when you are pressed for time, driving on slushy, snow covered roads and have to drive to another city for a car, the customer should be compensated fairly. I probably will never use Enterprise again because of their poor service and poor customer service relations.
I have been renting vehicles from enterprise for over 5 years. Now instead of refunding my deposit they decided to charge me $87.43 per day for a vehicle that was returned. HINT. THERE IS NO$87.43 RATE. Nice scam.
My daughter had a rental that got a flat tire. When enterprise services were contacted they stated a 55.00 fee to have someone come out to repair. She had her younger sister in the car along with a baby, they gave no regards to her safety or the child's safety. All they were concerned with was adding a 55.00 service charge to the acct.

I have been coming to this location for over 5 years. They have had there ups and downs. This Last year with the manger being Igor was a great experience everything was organized and speedy process. Now it is going downhill again. I made a reservation on Wednesday December 7th 2022 then I get a phone call on Friday to confirm my pickup for Saturday. When you call to confirm for pick up you are ensuring that everything is set correct? I get to the enterprise today for a pickup at the x correct time even earlier then expected for the pickup I get here and the rental is not here. I took an Uber to get here. Have been waiting for over 1 hour and no word for anyone, only thing the current manger said is that would you like us to take us home. As soon as a white lady comes in she is taking care and rental is handled to her. Unbelievable. This is so stressful, to have made plans and for enterprise to mess up everything.
I booked a Vehicle for a week at SFO. I wanted to add insurance,so I called sales and added insurance. I asked him to e mail the new Total. I asked the agent to wait while I check the mail. He tried to put me off. I checked the mail and found out that he cancelled my reservation. I asked for the supervisor and found out that it is going to be 60% more now. I talked to the customer service to no avail. I ended up going with Budget.
Exchanged for another vehicle at SNA airport because the first vehicle I rented had a faulty gas pump nozzle opening that didn't allow gasoline into the tank and second vehicle had a dent that they themselves did not catch because it's dark in the underground parking garage where Enterprise is located. After the car was already returned they then want to say I'm responsible for the dent. Caused me inconvenience and then passing the buck for not doing their job right.
Agent told me I was not insured in this car. I should take out insurance. Rattled off prices I said ok. So he told me 17.00 dollars a day. What a liar. Called State Farm. I was totally insured. Enterprise charged two amount adding up to 500.00 dollars. He put 200.00 dollars on my credit card. I was so upset. You are going to put that money back he said yes. Big scammer. Called enterprise you signed You lied. Run never use enerterprise in Waukegan Illinois. This guy stole all my money. So very sad. Know one from enterprise will call me back
Steer clear of this place. It has the undertones of a grimy used car salesmen. They over book and then have no cars. How is this possible? Reservation number doesn't matter, so don't bother. In all of Milwaukee area, I couldn't get a car. How does a business that rents cars not have cars? They owners don't care as long as they make money. The workers are treated like peons, making mere pennies as the owners roll in the cash. Very suspect business practices and I feel badly for staff as they get the brunt of customer ire when there are no cars. STAY AWAY. They will rip you off with a smile on their face. GRIMY. All they want is your money. Cars with maintenance issues are put back on the road. NOT SAFE. Take a stand! Boycott Enterprise.

Rented/prepaid a Rav4 11/24/22 at 1002am from Enterprise at Detroit Metro Airport DTW on Lucas Dr. Of the many companies and locations I've rented cars from over the years I've never been treated so well or felt such a relaxing welcoming vibe! The shuttle drivers are kind and smiling. Walking into Enterprise a woman smiled as she invited us in telling us where restrooms were, encouraged us to take a complimentary water and immediately called the next person in line. The other female and male agents were also smiling and kind while helping other customers.
Then Sean walked straight in from outside and called me right over. So professional, kind and knowledgeable. Sounds corny but it was like being in a dream. We finished and Sean walked me out to the car (freshly washed)! Never had someone walk me to my car. She walked around the outside with me checking for any previous dents etc (none), showed me how to get to the exit. I started the car and noticed it was warm inside! They warmed up the car! It was 43° outside and toasty warm inside.
You guys rock! Kudos to ALL working DTW the morning of pickup 11/24/22 and 11/26/22 the morning of my return (car receivers, bus mgr/coordinator). Again, everyone so professional. Thank you. Because of my agent Sean and the atmosphere of everyone Enterprise will now be a preferred rental car company and I will tell everyone I know. Please find and acknowledge my agent Sean. She is awesome!
I reserved a car 1 month before I arrived. I arrived before the reservation time. Enterprise had several cars available and would not give me a car. Multiple calls to corporate escalations and ~25 emails to resolve the issue. Not it is 4 1/2 months later and still no response. Pathetic. Never again. DO NOT TRUST ENTERPRISE WITH A RENTAL.
We rented a car thru our insurance but we had mechanical problems so we swapped it out the second car was worse so we did again and same thing the car world shake so bad I called them and they gave me attitude and accused me of just wanting to change cars often so I called corporate they swapped the car again but it's the same problem.they don't maintain their cars on check and gave you attitude worse rental place ever!
The Company excels at misRepresentation and deserves to be avoided. No where on its website does it detail the swinging insurance that I was only advised of on vehicle collection. I went back and studied the website after returning the vehicle, it was not even hidden and the video that explains why they have an excess. It never mentioned the figures, or how limited the cover is if you don't take their over-priced insurance up-sell. If you don't take their over-priced excess cover, from other reviews on trustpilot and here on review center it does seem that you should expect to be billed £££.
It was obvious that when I came to check that van back in they were going to be looking for damage, and even the smallest most trivial chip to the paint might cost mega bucks. Their £1750 excess policy is per scratch spotted, not per rental, something emphasized by the rep, but never mentioned on the website. Once I realized it was possible to be billed as much as £10k and still be below the "cover excess" I realised that there was no choice but to cancel a job (not an option) or take their excessively expensive excess cover.
Okay, take their excess insurance - but at £35/day it is excessive, it added £70 to a rental that was quoted to me at £140 odd.
No where on their website does it state that the supposedly fully comp insurance does not exist - its not even mentioned in the video about the excess amount. If you do not take their cover you could be liable for £10_000,'s. The £1750 excess limit is per scratch etc. Suppose you had a small knock, if the car bodywork got scratched, the Tyre was damaged (not necessary burst, just scuffed), the front light broken along with the wing mirror broken, and the windscreen got cracked you could be charged up to £1750 per item - on the above the limit it could be as much as £8 750.
I got in a car wreck about three years ago I had full coverage and rental Insurance my insurance paid the full balance I dropped off the car they walked around I filled up the gas tank everything was good I left then three years later I go to rent a car again and they say I have a balance of $550 even though my insurance company has paid in full three years ago I never received any phone calls no letters in the mail saying that I owe money they're a scam artist and never use this company I repeat do not use enterprise Rent-A-Car I will be seeking legal action
This enterprise is so ghetto unprofessional people I have ever seen very rude staff inconsiderate didn't get a call back for a rental the manager is unprofessional not the bald headed guy he was very professional the girl with the glasses was very unprofessional customer service sucks she needs to be at Wendy's on fries working. Seems enterprise has turned into a money ordeal. Wanted to rent for just Sunday, but you can't rent on a Sunday for one day. Gotta pay for 2 days. I'll be finding someplace else to rent from now on and I will be letting everyone know the type of people you've turned into.
I have been dealing with them for two days due to my car was totaled but a new driver they never came, to pick me up after they said they were. They never called or anything I paid a fee that they said I owed still nothing it like after they took my money to hell with me the customer service sucks Really bad they are full of s*** they don't care they only their to get a check sad but true tell you a lie just to get you off the phone its as if it's a joke to them.
