E-Host is suspected of Fraud in an International Level
August 17, 2016

WARNING ALERT; E-host is a company involved in international credit card fraud and identity theft, they demand a copy of your drivers license and credit card or passport for your own security, priceless! This is highly illegal and fraudulent and should be reported to the FBI and Interpol. They operate out of the Philippines with NO USA due process of law to protect you! The positive ratings in this site are actually from their own crooked employees, just trace their IP for confirmation, pass this along to all concern and network among all countries to prevent this theft!

A Total Scam! Don't do it!
June 24, 2016

I got a site from ehost and found it not so enjoyable. So I decide to use their "45 day refund your money bs" and they say they will do so. They say "it should be refunded within 7 days." BS! So I called back because it wasn't refunded and they also charged another $60.00! I told them they did this and I need my $120.00 back! They say they don't know what happended and will process it again. So I decide I want to talk to the manager. Guess what, they got no manager! They put you on hold until you hang up! They keep saying they refunded it but I never get my money back! I have tried this multiple times and there is no mistake in my credit card! THERE GOES 120 DOWN THE FKN DRAIN!

Shady company. False promises.
June 9, 2016

I completely agree with the negative reviews on this site. Let me add, Buyer beware. After 4 attempts at a refund they agreed to provide, they are now refusing to refund. I now have to dispute the claim.

Con Artists
June 1, 2016

Why does eHost get so many poor review? Are they all true? Is eHost rally a scam?

I purchased the service of eHost internet services. In their site and during the time they offer you to purchase it is offered. Directly from their site 45 Day Money Back If you feel eHost isnt for you within 45 days well give you your money back, no questions asked. - purchase was done on 23/05/2016 and on 23/05/2016 I identified that the services do not appear to be what was promised at the sign up. So I requested cancellation and a full refund of fees. There are only robotic email responses, when I call nobody answers, and their chat service is just to say we are going to evaluate the request and get back to you. I have now been promised a refund minus $15 domain registration which was offered free. They have signposted me to a lengthy trade agreement document that I have supposedly signed up to. HOW MANY PEOPLE READS TERMS OF CONTRACT? Poor business practice and short sighted

Ripped off by EHost SCAM! PLEASE AVOID!
May 27, 2016

I have been ripped by EHost by £71.46, they were offering service for £4.99 with 45 days money back guarantee. Its been 26 days, numerous calls and emails and no refund. It is obviously scam! Fortunately i paid through paypal and paypal promised to refund me money and remove them completely from paypal as they never replied to paypals emails! More over they even managed to setup recurring payment on my paypal account for £148! If i didnt notice it they would have taken it too. SCAM! SCAM! PLEASE AVOID!

Huge waste of time!
May 25, 2016

First, when I signed up for the service, I was only trying to get the basic web hosting package. When i continued, it signed me up for 3 upgrades for an additional $29.95 each. Then, I contacted them to cancel all of the upgrades. That took a full day to occur. The design portion of the package was more complicated than I was led to believe so I submitted a request to cancel my service completely. It has been over 24 hours since my request and still they have not cancelled my service. I spoke with 3 different people who promised it would be done in a few hours. When this did not happen I called again. The fourth person told me it would take 24-72 hours. Why the sudden change? Just cancel my service and let me move on to one of your competitors who takes more pride in customer service than you do!

I have only been with eHost 1.5 months and have experience technical problems and billing mistakes (I am still waiting for a refund that I am owed from over 2 weeks ago and was told it would take 5-7 days). One day I had to speak to 3 online chat reps and one person over the phone and my issue still wasn't resolved. The reps on the online chat do not understand much and never seem to answer the question that is asked and it is obvious they are trying to answer many people at the same time as they take a really long time to write each response.

My advice would be AVOID eHost. The site isn't the best and their customer support is awful.

Really, actually terrible!
April 28, 2016

I gave this place a try, worst mistake ever! I am still fighting for a refund. I had the thing up for less than an hour and realized that I would need to "purchase" so many of their "add ons" to even be able to run by web page the way I need to that it would never be worth the cost. I requested a cancellation within the hour and THREE DAYS LATER I am still in the "verification process" I just received an email letting me know they would refund me less a $15 per hour fee for use of my own domain name... how about NO. Since I requested a refund in less than an hour, there shouldn't be any fees associated with the plan. My next stop after this review is the BBB and my cc company to report the charges. What a waste of time!

eHosts.com is a SCAM
April 11, 2016

Ehosts.com is a scam. I too have had billing issues. Ehosts.com attempted to bill me twice within 14 days of starting service. Their terms of service are loosely defined and you are slammed with add-ons shortly after signup. It was obvious eHosts.com sold my email and contact information after signup due to the increasing email spam and telephone solicitors in regard to my services.

I have been emailing back and forth with support and the billing department. I have not received a credit for the overcharge. Ehosts.com hasn't even acknowledged the issue, but instead asked if I would confirm to close the account.

During the initial signup, I was hesitant to select eHosts as I felt that there were too many similarities to many of their suggested competitors (having partially completed signing up for services to get a better idea of what I was getting into with each of them). I know believe their suggested competitors are one in the same -- being that they are eHost, or part of a parent company. I also believe that the high praise and 5 star editorial reviews were purchased or nefariously crafted.

I would never use eHosts.com again.

If you want a refund then report it to BBB
April 2, 2016

The best thing is to report this to BBB even if you want a refund for domain name. Try Flaunt7. Get Unlimited hosting with unmetered bandwidth and disk space for just $2 per month with free domain name and if you don't like it then get a full refund. Try now on https://www.flaunt7.com

Not trustworthy; Backed off of 45 day refund
March 29, 2016

I was given tech support on my second day since I could not figure out FTP uploads. The FTP connection is programmed to load into 'user file' but to be viewed a file has to be in 'public_html.' Once there, the files are no longer visible to either FileZilla or Dreamweaver; they can only be seen in the ehost file manager through the 'C Panel.' Not very useful. Also the CPanel file loader only uploads one file at a time. Very bad.

So, not wanting any of this nonsense, (I had already spent too much time on the phone and in chat rooms regarding other issues) I sent the requisite email asking to have my plan cancelled. A response came back stating the domain name (which shows in a google search by now) could not be found and my email was not linked to any account. Despite having received emails to the account in question from ehost.

As a final insult, one of the tech guys could not speak English without such a thick accent as to be incomprehensible.

All the makings of record breaking worst customer service that can be readily found.

Professional SCAMMERS
March 9, 2016

Be careful once you write down your credit card number,
You won´t really know what they are going to bill you for...

1) they overcharged my bill wit Spanish VAT (which they aren´t supposed to)

2) they charged me for a SiteLock Service I didn't ask for and which I can´t even use because I have no login details.

3) they kidnapped my credit card informations and I can´t delete it

Since 7 days ago,
I didn't get any answer yet from their support

Be careful, you gotta deal with robbers and robots...

STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!
February 26, 2016

Hey,
I have tried using EHOST for my personal website and found it to be an truly awful experience.
EHost will not let you continue paying promotion price if you feel you need to test for a month first before committing to a yearly subscription. Promotion price is not valid for second purchase.
I was charged after specifically stating that I did not want to renew the monthly contract the following month.
I was accused of cancelling after the current billing period before proof was presented - fraudulent accounting
They are refusing to refund stolen money despite having proof of cancellation within the previous period.
Being ignored when looking for an answer despite several attempts to find a resolution. Customer service does not exist.
Not at any point was I informed that EHOST required two cancellations to cancel

I registered a premium domain and they hijacked it from me they also charge me on top of it.
I contacted the manager to address this problem and he told me he will investigate this matter and get back to me three weeks have passed and no word from him yet.
They also charge me for domain privacy without my authorization and charge my credit card twice the amount for the domain.
Do not do business with this company.

You get what you pay for
February 12, 2016

I signed up for eHost and set up add on domains for sites that I had been hosting at Bluehost. I redirected the nameservers to eHost but it never seemed to work.
I talked to technical support and was told that I need to upload them to the proper area. I asked what the proper area is and was told that that was beyond the scope of their support. I have no idea what the scope of eHost's technical support is but it would seem like letting me know how to upload the files so they go in the proper area on eHost should be within that scope. They suggested I contract a developer to migrate the sites from Bluehost, but that would negate any cost savings I get from switching to eHost so I asked for my money back. I only got partial refund "minus 15.00 as per our Terms of Service." in their words. I'm glad they pointed out I needed to login to paypal to cancel my recurring payment at least. Not happy at all with the experience.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Stay Away!
February 7, 2016

They are either incompetent or are thieves. I've had my Paypal account rinsed of £66.97 by eHost when I owed them only £8.39.

I've emailed them over 20 times and have talked to 2 people on live chat but they keep telling me they can't find any evidence of these over-payments even though I have given them all of the transaction IDs for Paypal as well as screenshots.

I did pay for eCommerce but spoke to 3 of their tech support people about it not working and they said it was a known issue but they had no idea how long it would take to sort out. As the store didn't work I told them that they shouldn't have taken my money for a service they were unable to supply and to refund me for eCommerce and not charge me again until it did work (a reasonable request, I believe). The store has since been operational for as little as a couple of days over the last 5 weeks since I signed up.

Having been fobbed off by their tech support telling me they will pass it to the relevant parties only to receive no further word I have since told Paypal not to allow them to take any more money from my account and have issued disputes on all payments as either unauthorised payments or services not received as appropriate.

Stay well away from eHost, I will give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that they are incompetent rather than scammers, but even so, if they are not able to take funds without taking eight times what was owed then then there's a real issue in their billing system.

DO NOT USE! RUN!
February 4, 2016

Never use, save your time and money!
I signed up, they charged my card, but couldn't login, I called their tech support, they said there's an error, was put on hold for 32 minutes, then were told that they submitted a ticket and someone will look into it and email me! WHAT?! I just signed up, I told her I was a new customer and need to work on my website, she (Customer Service/Tech Support) simply didn't care, I asked if there's a way that we can get it going because I took a day off just to work and set-up the website, she put me on hold again for another 27 minutes, came back on the phone and said there's nothing I can do and just to wait for some one to email me! OMG! Then I asked for a manager, she put me on hold again, well... I ended up being on the phone for 1:56 minutes total! I cancelled then she put me on hold again just to tell me she created a ticket and someone will contact me?! I'm calling my credit card company and reverse every penny this company charged! VERY FRUSTRATED! Never use this company, save your time and money!
