Fraud
April 10, 2017

This company is a FRAUD. Stay away from this. They have the worst customer service and will continue to charge your credit card even if you unsubscribe with them already. Such a shame.

Should have negative ratings..
April 7, 2017

I paid for my website and a few extra options about a couple months ago, I started editing my site about two weeks ago and I have had nothing but issues. The site builder is pretty easy to use but the customer service absolutely SUCKS! You can't even understand what they say. Now, I'm locked in for 2 years with a service that has constant technical problems. They know you already paid them so they treat you like a piece of crap. I haven't been able to upload pictures to my site for two days now, they tell me they are working on it... SMMFH... :(

Wish I'd Read This First
March 13, 2017

£2.75 per month the website said. £100.05 was what came off my Paypal account. I sent an immediate e-mail to cancel. 3 days later I've still had no refund, no response and no sign of a domain name or an e-mail account. I've contacted Paypal for a refund but please don't touch this company with a barge pole.

Refund Guarantee Suck, ad nauseam.
March 9, 2017

I subscribed on 2/24/17, cancelled immediately, because eHost pushed me into two plans which I did not intend to have. Until now my refund of about $200 has not been made, an unjust enrichment. I am to complain to ICANN, then to CA Consumer Protection, before I file my small claims. Terrible thing about eHost, when I emailed my request, they gave me ticket number, and when I followed up the issue they issued me another ticket number, then each follow up generates another ticket number, ad nauseam.

Took my money then removed the service
March 4, 2017

Bought a 2 year package for £100 (50% discount) - then they hosted my website OK for six months - then they advise me that unless they host my domain name they won't host my website - so withdrew their service. Basically they stole £75 from me. Now refuse to engage on the subject and ignore my emails. If they were in the UK, I would be happy to spend the money to take them to county court, but since they are pretty much immune in the US, little I can do.

STAY AWAY!
February 28, 2017

They are SCAM ARTIST. I cant believe they are still in business. They canceled one of my sites saying they could not charge my card, yet other sites on the same package were auto renewed without issue. Now I have lost a month of work.

If I could give them fewer than 1 star, I would.
February 28, 2017

Ehost is incredibly confusing and deceitful. I agreed to pay $13, and was charged $23. I contacted customer support and was promised a full refund, only to get an email saying they would not be refunding me. They STOLE from me. Do Not Use.

Totally Stole My Money!
February 26, 2017

Do You Used to do that? To promise people 24/7 support and I got nothing! I'm very very disappointed as this moment! Yesterday I Got 70% discount for 1 year prime hosting with free domain, I choosea domain then I found I was charged for only 1 month hosting plan for 4 dollars I reported that, sent a mail and put a ticket in ur desert support platform, then I installed cplanel and got a login details for wordpress dashboard and it doesn't exist either! The domain itself is still available on godaddy and on ur website itself that means I didn't even get it! After that I called ur number from egypt they put me on hold for 5 minutes playing some music and the no reply! I even lost all my cellular credit for calling You! I begin to think it's not even a real support maybe it's a total fraud cause guess what! I've got nothing for these cheap 4 dollars or even can't fix my plan, If you can help ASAP DO This as Possible cause I think I was wrong choosing ur services it's all blur dreams to take peoples money, I guess I've waited for long 24 hours since my last ticket and email message so I'm very waiting for support and an apology...

Ehost will scam you out of your money
February 21, 2017

I wanted to cancel four domains which were up for renewal and received an offer from Ehost at a dramatic discount so I accepted the 60% discount at the shopping cart, suspicious of ehost I decided to take a screen shot of the discount and paid for my renewal. Next day I noticed that ehost charged me for the full amount and not the discounted amount, when I called to complain they wanted a full copy of the screen shot which made me realize that few people would of copied the screen shot of their payment so their intent was to scam the people who trusted the ehost system. If I did not copy the screen shot showing my discount I would be out of the discount and forced to accept the full price.

STAY AWAY - WORST HOSTING SOLUTION
February 16, 2017

They offer tons of things... and they deliver nothing. Their service is substandard. They strung me along for three months. When they couldn't resolve my issue I asked for a refund. They said I was "beyond the refund period" by then. Unethical, unprofessional.

DOMAIN PRIVACY IS A SCAM AND JOKE TO THEM
February 10, 2017

Ehosts.com is a JOKE! They don't protect your information! I had been given the run around for hours, upon hours between waiting 80min on hold waiting for someone to just pick up, 60 min waiting to chat with a tech online, then spending another 70-80 minutes "chatting" with NO resolved issues, to then get a generic "Sorry you're out of luck email" to ANOTHER 20 minutes to still not have access to a Manager, or the problem solved. I am a STRONG believer of customer service. I'm also an ADVOCATE for receiving exactly what I pay for. My problem with them? I paid for Domain Privacy. I work in entertainment. Privacy is THE NUMBER ONE concern I have! I would fully EXPECT that when I ordered domain privacy in 2015 at the EXACT moment I ordered my domain and hosting, it would be set up. I would ALSO expect that with annual AUTO-RENEW for domain privacy (my HOSTING was paid for 3 YEARS mind you) that my information would STILL remain PRIVATE. But here I am- in 2017. And my information was ALL OVER WHOIS. How does that happen? Ordered, paid, prepaid, auto renew (with a current credit card, so it didnt "decline") How do I NOT get the service I have been paying for?

And THEN how is it possible, that it was CONFIRMED a "mistake" and was fixed "immediately" but you won't issue me a CREDIT for the services you didn't provide? I didnt ask for a refund. I asked to EXTEND my TWENTY DOLLAR service for the mistake EHOSTS ADMITTED TO. And was told "sorry, we don't issue credits" and sent the terms of service in an email.

Im sorry, but where does it say you can pay for a service, they fail to provide the service, and can get away with that? They offer refunds, credits, etc depending on the issue. Yet they want to treat me like I was asking for a million dollars.

WORST customer service EVER. I've spent HOURS getting the run around, apparently there are ZERO managers, supervisors, leads, or ANYONE with authority that works there.

SO BUYER BEWARE... DOMAIN PRIVACY IS NOT IMPORTANT TO THEM! BE PREPARED TO HAVE ALL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION OUT ON THE WEB REGARDLESS OF PAYING THEM TO ENSURE THAT DOESNT HAPPEN!

One star is too much!
February 6, 2017

Awful! 1) Was not expecting to be charged full price but rather a monthly payment. No biggie but would have liked it to be disclosed 2) next I signed up for the 36 month term for $2.75 (50% off promo) however when my final receipt came, I was overcharged when I broke it down and it was only for 24 months. They also added a fee for SiteLock which I did not agree to. I cancelled my order completely. Beware! Not honest!

Worse of the Worse
January 30, 2017

Customer support is absolutely the worse. I have spent more time on hold than talking to someone. When I went to cancel redundant add ons they actually cancelled two of my entire websites! I am fed up with eHost. I have been hung up on and have had help tickets created that have never been responded to. I've never spoken to an actual native english speaker. I have currently, as I write this, been on hold for 20 minutes. DONE.

Not a good hosting service
January 26, 2017

I subscribed, but then I found out they did not offer domain transfers, so I cancelled. Talking to a person took 20 minutes wait time. I am constantly being spammed with offers, as well as illegal phone calls. They still have not released my selected domain back to the public pool. I see that they still charged my credit card, so I have to fight that.

Bait and Switch not only that there's more
January 18, 2017

So many good reviews at least 3 pages on google. But I really think these are all created by the company. It takes a while to get a review from a real person online. And this is no surprise since what they do is websites. And they make up a whole mess of them to give them good reviews. And that's all that comes up on google for at least 3 or 4 pages. DO NOT USE E HOST IT IS A SCAM PLAIN AND SIMPLE
