I've ordered multiple times from souq.com and most of my orders were delivered within the expected delivery date. Just hope that you wouldn't need any support from their customer service regarding ANYTHING. Be it, refund, returns etc. They have the worst customer support ever. Their employees behind their PCs are incompetent.
No customer service at all. Delivery 2 days later. I would not recommend order anything from there if you value your time and well being.
I ordered an item for valentines day as a gift for my partner. The delivery driver called me on the Monday to say he was delivering the item 'within 30 minutes'. The package did not arrive until the next day. When i opened the item glass came out of the box from the item which had been totally smashed. On asking to return the item, the same thing happened. The delivery driver called to say he was coming to pick it up that day, he then went to the wrong address!
I have used souq.com for 3 years now and so far i am satisfied with it. But, it doesnt mean that I would be careless in buying just about anything in Souq. There are trust ratings on sellers for a reason, let that be your first priority in deciding to buy the item or not. So far, this approach never gave me any regret. Just because an item might be a good buy but if it is under a poorly rated seller, never gamble.
As for refund from souq, i have returned many items within the span of 3 years, so far I have not encountered any problems. Maybe just luck? I might encounter in the future but lets see once that happens.
Delivery is a concern with Souq. When I bought many items most certainly they would be delivered beyond the expected date. Sometimes I get frustrated but fortunately, all items would be delivered eventually. Ofcourse, I needed to use their contact support to expedite the delayed deliveries. It works so far.
I have had bad products from souq but it was more on my fault for not reviewing feedbacks first. To date, I have purchased a 42" lg uhd smart TV, Panasonic microwave oven, saachi vaccuum cleaner, nikon dslr d5300, and other pricey items for almost 3 years now, and I have yet to receive a defective item from them.
I ordered couple of items which was beats and some toys. I ordered silver color beats and they shipped me white color beat. How stupid that can be I Asked them why would they send me different color and their poor customer care has no answer for it that why did they send different color? Its like seriously they dont give a damn to customer. Instead of compensation they just had to waste my time and my money still not refunded yet.
I have returned a defective DJI Osmo mobile which gets overheated after using it for more than 3 minutes, on 17th of January 2017 I have returned it, and still, I have not got my refund... why is SOUQ being Lazy to respond.

I will never ever use this company again ordered items middle of December - they never arrived and since then I am having a daily battle to get my money back. All they keep telling me is the same thing. I will get this sorted, I will get someone to call you back, your money will be refunded maximum 24 hours time. All of it is utter nonsense Do NOT use this company unless you want to part with your money and never get any goods
I purchased a few items fro m SOUQ:
1/ Fitness EZ curled bar Kettler - FAKE... not even remotely what the description said. They asked me to convince the seller it's not fake. And also covered him up by refusing my review (where I was describing how the bar has different specs).
2/ Fitness bench - missing parts, two months later and 20 emails & calls they refuse to refund me.
3/ Pair of dumbbells - they sent me just 1 and marked the order as complete... Again they refused my refund request...

Souq before handling amazon nice online site. Nowadays souq leading amazon very bad and very slow. I have purchased two products from souq, got both are complaint product then i have returned that product, but not yet received my cash. ( Seller name: Dubaishopping1) friends don't by from this seller, they will cheat you. I am telling with my experience.
I was sold a counterfeit Blackberry by Souq.com. Found out only a month later because the software was playing complete mess. Now I am supposed to get a refund, but it is dragging on and on. Never buy any electronics from this place, it will for sure be fake!
I place order 43 inch tv next day they are canceled order saying out off Stock they are only showing less price for advertising

I purchased TV from Nov 17 and after 3 days I returned it for replacement and till now every time I open ticket they close it without anyone one calling me.
Every time I call they give me different information and they count the 15 days even it the TV with them. They told me they don't replace and the will do refund but the didn't do both, instead they repaid something electronic and even the quality of the TV is not as per my expectation or the adds. Yet no one care.
I placed more then 4 complaint and still from Nov till today end of Jan with no progress whatsoever.
I ordered a Beats studio 3 headset, which was scheduled to be delivered to me by 13th - 14th January. Today is 23rd, still havent received it. After several complains, the Souq representative called and told me, that they are not sure whether my order will be delivered or not. Told me to wait 2 more days, to see if i receive my order, if not, they will refund my money. Total waste of time. Pathetic service. First and last time, i am shopping on Souq.
Most if not all of the products on souq are fake and without warranty. I bought a tablet and i discover the tablet comes with advertising popping up every now and then as long as you are connected online, three weeks after purchase the screen went black and tablet went dead. No refund. No warranty
Acquired lately by amazon but this ME e commerce company is getting worse especially the customer service and their products. What a shame.
I ordered a few items for myself for Christmas coz I liked the prices on souq.com, but when I got part of the item 2 were not what i ordered. So now here is where the saga begins... I called and have been calling souq.com since December 23rd for them to send me the products that I want and I would return the wrong items. Unfortunately, they don't do that!
I was told to keep the wrong products as a "Gift" and they were sorry about that. So the 1st customer care person I spoke to was very understanding and put in a request for a fill compensation. Which I received very quickly.
Then I called again and spoke to another person on seeing that there was another wrong product in the box. So the lady "Heba" confirmed with the manager and i was told that i would get a full refund with shipping as it was their fault.
Long story short after calling almost 10 times and requesting to speak with a manager 5 times, NOTHING! INCOMPETENT AND UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE.
I have not seen my full refund even after writing to them several times.
The other item that I ordered did not come to me at the expected time and I told them I wanted a full refund of that too. That item cost me extra for shipping and yet again I didn't get it.
I saw a pending amount in my souq wallet but the same amount was not put into my bank account.
The customer care representatives seem to be robots. They read out to you a list of phrases they are supposed to tell every person that calls.
The managers should not be called managers rather incompetent ametures who possess that role.
I will not be buying from this crap site no matter how cheap it is.
Some sellers are horrible and send used items when you chose new items. Also when you escalate a problem... no one contacts you. So whats the use of escalating a problem!
I have had 3 bad experiences with them and will not waste my time again.
Be careful with fake items too as their perfume items are not originals as they say.
This site should also be reported to the Ministry of Consumer Rights for robbing the public.
SOUQ didn't delivered to me charger with laptop, and also didn't mentioned in product description that it will deliver laptop without charger. I think you should to put such notes in product description, but that's up to SOUQ and their wishes to keep the customers. I sent complaint, SOUQ answered and after 2-3 days closed the case without waiting on my respond!? If SOUQ really want in future to introduce yourselves as a "An Amazon Company", they really have to do much more in order to satisfy the customers.
Since that this is already 2nd time with my bad experience with SOUQ, it is very clear that I will not come in situation to be cheated and 3rd time.
Fake products, cheap $#*!e, belligerent sellers, huge bunch of condescending arseholes.
Paid good money for a new, supposedly decent graphics card and ended up with bios-flashed fake turd. The card died a few days later before I even had the chance to return it and now I have a dead turd.
Return policy insists on Souq credit rather than actual money back for my form of payment... no thanks keep your goddamn credit, I'm not having anything to do with this ridiculously poor excuse for an online shopping $#*!e.
The 1st one was very fast within 1 day i received the item (xbox controller) it's still working... then 2nd I odered a tripod for phone it was a fake it was just damaged and I returned... 3rd I ordered a Samsung tv even though the item was amazing but there was few problems so they said they will take back and will give... mashallah I had good experience correct refund and good response to customers... but I had an important thing to say that always buy Souq fulfilled items or other May be fake...
Answer: They are not allowing to open the consignment and will ask if any non-conformance you contact SOUQ customer service and they will refund. But remember refund is a hell process and finally you will say go to hell i no need any thing. Like i did

Answer: Do not. You are more than likely to not get a warranty with your purchase. Even if the phone is broken from manufacturers side they will not refund your money. I used to buy from them all the time. The last time I decided to buy wifi extenders, I brought 3. One of them blew up as soon as I plugged it in. I explained this to them, first they accused me of using it wrong (it's an extender you are supposed to plug it into a wall socket - I had set up the previous 2 the same way). Then they tried to claim they won't take it back because I opened it... Illogical stupid excuses for why they wouldn't refund my money. They refused even to exchange it. That was this time last year and since then I've never ordered from them again.
Answer: Not at all. Its an auctioned product which i got, which was not working and already expired one. You will not get warranty for that, if you need to confirm this, just take the serial number of mobile and go to apple store. Please dont ve cheated.
Answer: Typical Souq.com. File a report with the Department of Economic Development or the Dubai Police.
