Souq has provided me with a terrible service when it came to returned item. They simply do not care.
Terrible service, they hide behind their own courier service QExpress.
QExpress employees lie about trying to deliver the package and do not even telephone the customer...
I purchased a panasonic trimmer(model ER2051K) from souq recently. But the product I received was a different one (ER217s). I tried to return it. But for the first day of return pick up, no one from QExpress turned up. So I called Souq next day again. They said, it will take another 24 hours for the return pick up. So I was planing to forget the return and accept whatever I received. Then while trying to connect the charger, I found that the charger was not fitting; the charger and the device are different models! Trimmer is made in Japan and the Charger is made in China! I am sure that some of the sellers are spoiling the brand name of souq. I always had great shopping experience with Amazon and was expecting the same kind of service from Souq as well. Even some of the agents from souq are not empathetic at all. The last person I spoke sounded little rude and hung up the phone. I will never buy from souq.
I placed a order on 7th june 2018 and received on 14th june and when i open my package one item is missing. Then i registered a complain on same day. They ready to resend my rest item but the question is why they taking time to delivered my item.?
And i received a text message from souq. Com that my order delivery delayed by 2-3 days more.
This is really disappoint me.
I've ordered 12 different items from souq.com, and delivery was in five times!
Every time I hope this is it, but again something is missing to be delivered later.
Also, they don't want to come on your timing, the delivery guy says i can come tomorrow at the same time only (10 am) but cannot come at (3 pm)!

This is my first and last time to buy anything from souq.com.
I ordered a Curtain(Livingroom) from souq as it was such a beautiful photo. When I received the product it was just a plastic sheet like a bathroom curtain. They then took the product back. I ordered a shoe from their website for the same amount. After 4 days I call them about the delivery and they said that the product is not available. Then I ordered some decorative golden mirror butterflies! To my surprise I got yellow matte colored paper cuttings!
Unprofessional. Lying. No product. No delivery date adherence. No refund yet for almost 2 months. Never delivered a call back or update promise.
I would rate them 0 if I had the option.
Exactly 35 days now i am still waiting my refund. Even they didn't reply my complaints and all. 15 times i called the customer service. Same messages coming from them " we transfered to concern department please wait sir" now 35 days left. I am informing you everybody the refund they will not return back. Please careful everybody.
I ordered a Xiaomi Device in souq. June 14,2018. Now its June 20,2018 and still no update wheres my order now. Very bad service
Hi All, Never order anything from souq.com unless you forget the option for return. I ordered a TV from Souq, it was delivered and I started using the same but TV had some software issues so I returned the TV. Its been a month now and I have no update, If I call customer service no proper response and emails are just ignored. I am surprised that how Souq.com is surviving in UAE despite of DED. I keep my fingers crossed that I will get my TV back this year. I have all records to support my above information. I will suggest some legal authority to take some action on these cases. Bought 2 perfumes which turned to be fake. I sent a review, which was ruled out by the moderator. They don't seem to like bad reviews.
I've purchased a Samsung note 4 from souq.com in the last week. The order I booked was for N910G where as the one I received was N910F. No worries, I opened the phone and started installing my softwares and then on installing a banking software, I came to knew that the set was rooted. I tried to unroot the set but was not able to do it. I informed Samsung about the set and they told me that the set is not new because Samsung does not root the sets by default. I gave it to one of the mechanics to unroot it and then he told me that the set is not new and it's N910T instead of N910F and rooted to change the software. This is second time that I booked an order and got bullied by souq.com. It's totally fraudulent in my opinion.
I got samung s8 plus aound 6 month ago which went off with the display suddenly 12 days ago. After 8 days some one picked up and returned me the same in next 4 days. I tried the mobile which work good for a day and suddenly went off again.
It is been really disappointing and would not recommend any one to buy any electronic item from souq

For approximately 10 days Im following up with Q express to arrange for a pickup to return an item. Im a regular buyer from Souq and Im really frustrated about the incompetence and non commercial rofessional behaviour of Q express. I have been calling the call centre and I have escalated complaints to 2 managers but the result is the same - courier never shows up. Its a disgrace to the company that they are not even able to give me a proper commitment on a confirmed pickup. Im really frustrated and annoyed to deal with Q express
I am surprised how Amazon, the most successful online shopping in the world to be a partner with Souq.com? Does Amazon have minimum qualifications standards to apply before they partner with such companies?

They refuse to publish poor reviews for any product and send a feedback that your review is a complaint not a review. I wrote a poor review about what is assumed a brand Black & Decker sprinkler which was a poor quality and broke after the first use and they replied this is a complaint not a review; how on earth can you let buyers be aware of a bad product? Same has occurred with other products. Obviously
They do partner with their merchandise sellers rather than their customer!
I had my trust in them for being an Amazon company but in fact they are a disgrace to Amazon; NO MORE BUSINESS!
I bought two items one was missing an item and one was a fake open item used and I complained and ask for refund one they gave me a refund but cant use the money and one they didn't even help or call me about it
I bought a Samsung 65inch television, 2 days after I received it I unpacked it and found out it was not working. I called Souq.com and the service advisor created a job and I received a SMS Tuesday that it would be returned. Qexpress which is the shipment department (company owned / a part of Souq), then send a sms that it would be collected Friday at my address but noboday came and nobody called. I called Saturday and told that it was not picked up, service advisor told that it would be picked up during Saturday, Saturday afternoon I then called and was told that it would be Sunday. Sunday I then receives a sms again with info about that it will be collected Sunday, but again it is not being picked up and service advisor can now not give any information about when it is being picked up.
Be very carefull with buying value things at Souq.com, do not assume that you can return it.
No delivery on time some products shipping cost too much more than the value of the product but some products fast
Ive tried to avoid a shipment delay given that some of the goods Ive ordered might not stand the spring heats of the Arabian peninsula, the customer service were not responsive at all out of three emails Ive sent Ive gotten one response blaming the problem on the shipment company that souq.com acquired not long time ago, it was like go talk to them thats not our problem an amazon company hu! What a pathetic slogan Souq.com shame on you. I dont recommend this site given that Ive not collected my good nor gotten any refund till this moment.
Answer: They are not allowing to open the consignment and will ask if any non-conformance you contact SOUQ customer service and they will refund. But remember refund is a hell process and finally you will say go to hell i no need any thing. Like i did

Answer: Do not. You are more than likely to not get a warranty with your purchase. Even if the phone is broken from manufacturers side they will not refund your money. I used to buy from them all the time. The last time I decided to buy wifi extenders, I brought 3. One of them blew up as soon as I plugged it in. I explained this to them, first they accused me of using it wrong (it's an extender you are supposed to plug it into a wall socket - I had set up the previous 2 the same way). Then they tried to claim they won't take it back because I opened it... Illogical stupid excuses for why they wouldn't refund my money. They refused even to exchange it. That was this time last year and since then I've never ordered from them again.
Answer: Not at all. Its an auctioned product which i got, which was not working and already expired one. You will not get warranty for that, if you need to confirm this, just take the serial number of mobile and go to apple store. Please dont ve cheated.
Answer: Typical Souq.com. File a report with the Department of Economic Development or the Dubai Police.
