I ordered 3 items, infinix zero phone and a hard drive, i got my delivery within 4,5 days. I have seen some negative review about souq.com. Then i decided that first i'll check the item internally. So that i have asked to delivery boy that may i check the delivery, he reused with attitude. I said to him that go to hell, i am cancelling the order, and i'll will purchase from a shop after check the phone deeply... if they has rating to MINUS then i give it in minus... $#*!ing service. Its means that you need to become a blind while you are purchasing something. LOL... thank god... narrowly avoided...

Very bad action from your side to stop me from buying privilege COD
You are loosing your customers in a very bad way.
I use to buy a lot from souq.com.&That was my 1st time to refuse receiving the order but if you get back to your calls you'll find out that I called the company after exactly 2 or 3 minutes that I sent my order trying to stop it as I ordered 2 sets instead of 1 and your guy who answered my call was the one who asked me to do so telling me that it's ok no problem what so ever just don't do it several time as I can lose my privileged of COD. And I made sure with him that truly is no problem he said not at all.
So I think you need to check on who are answering your calls better than losing your customers..

Please care about the warranty or Guaranty before purchasing any item from souq.com
Because souq.com not taking responsibilities, Most of the items no Suppliers in UAE. If you purchase any item from Suoq.com without mentioning the warranty in cant repair or replace it

Souq. Com stinks. They display items which they or their sellers do not have. After you place the order, their seller run for purchasing it, twice it happened and im saying good bye to souq... I ordered for a laptop on 18th Jan and even after 13 days they are not able to confirm whether they will be able to deliver my order. Hence I had to cancel my order. Its better to buy from a point of sales for the matter of fact that no waiting and also, most of the items in souq will not have warranty.
Its better to pay a bit more to avoid undue delay and getting a prompt warranty.
And I was checking with customer service agent about the other options, she was happily saying me to cancel the order if ever wanted? What kind of customer service is that?

Once i was a buyer at souq.com now i am a seller there. I just wanted to use my money kept in banks and certificates for as minimum as zero profit. I tired to utilise them as a business in different trades, but non i found safe or secure. I tried on souq.com and trust me i sell original, authentic and new ones, when i come acroos issues with customer i try to go out of the way to solve. I just want to tell all of buyers out there for souq, com buyer's come first selller at the second number. They try to solve buyer's issues. Their customer support team is good. Trust me buyers mishandle most of the time the products, they dont want to read the contents/brochures of the items or they update softwares and disconnect in the middle and pose the item is bogus. I mean cmon the policies on souq are set in agreement with the concerned laws/body. Just because you didnt get the decesion u wanted doesnt mean your are right, i understand there may be valid reason of buyers but if you ask me i come across two types of buyers, serious and non serious. Trust me buyers do play games as well,

Firstly, I'd like to clarify that categorizing Souq.com as a "Muslim" company is wrong. They may have muslim employees but it is in no way a muslim company.

I had always heard negative reviews but ignored them as I had never had a problem. Last month I ordered 3 wifi extenders from http://uae.souq.com/ae-en/ (Souq.com) I opened and configured one of them. The second one I never got around to configuring. The 3rd one I gave to my mom who was visiting me at the time. She waited till she got home a few days later to configure hers. As soon as she plugged it in it shorted out, taking out the electric socket as well as the fuse box with it. The device itself has a blackened burn spot. I contacted Souq.com and talked to the customer service which informed me that they will neither refund nor replace it as per their policy which states that items can't be returned after 3 days and returns are only accepted IF the item is returned in the state it was received in... SERIOUSLY? That would be a bit impossible given the bloody device blew up. I explained all of that and got the same policy babble back.

I was once a loyal customer but this experience really put me off. Never again will I order from souq.com

Totally crap items and pathetic customer service. I ordered laptop that started making a loud noise after a week. Ordered hair curler plus straightener i got burst at the first time i plugged in. When i spoke to them they said we return unused items and you have opened it. I will never recommend this scam company to anyone, just wondering how this is not banned by Dubai municipality till now.
Plus they don't give you return easily they refund it in your souq account only so that you have to buy something else to waste that money on their crap items.

Full of sellers selling fake items. Some had been selling through Souq for years and have got reviews about their fake items, still Souq has not banned them or taken any actions. Very disappointed that a site like that operates in a place like U. A. E

Frequently sells refurbished items and fake items described as new. Especially things like laptops and iPhones. I have received 2 phones that have been more than 6 months old. With problems that prevent the phone working correctly. I also received a Dell Laptop that was 8 months old when it arrived and had a problem with the touchpad. There complaints department are slow and not keen to help as they just blame the third party stores. Have a look online to see the wealth of bad reviews and similar experience online. I may well make it my personal mission to spread the word on how bad Souq.com are. If you are in the middle east order from Europe or US where they know how to deal with online shopping and have accountability. You can get it shipped with ShopandShip and then you won't be left out of pocket and with a mountain of unnecessary stress!

So I thought I'd use Souq.com given some recent press release and adverts i saw in the newspaper. Given my experience I thought it best to forewarn any adventurous shoppers out there...

So i order the goods that i wanted... an expensive pair of head phones SAR1,400+, paid up front with a credit card. After two weeks of waiting i decided to call customer services as i was about to travel and would need the headphones ASAP. As luck would have it, Souq.com had no idea where my order was (even though it was fulfilled by them). When i demanded to speak to the supervisor, he informed me that Souq.com has fulfilled the order and passed it to a local delivery service to deliver the item one week ago. They refused to be of further help and acted as though it wasn't their problem. The supervisor was kind enough to provide details of the local delivery service.

Upon calling the local delivery service they declined that they'd received any package from souq.com, and slammed the phone down when i asked to speak to their supervisor. So, called Souq.com and told them of my experience... unfortunately they didn't seem to care and basically said "it's not our problem"... it's the local delivery services fault.

Anyway, 3rd week is about to come up and I'm travelling to London. Suffice to say this has been my worst experience shopping online. In comparison, I ordered something from Amazon.com, from the US, after placing the order with Souq.com, and it has already been delivered in KSA with out paying extra for delivery (apart from the shopandship fee).

Ordered for stuff and have been waiting just called them they say they have problem in their systems and will send the order after it is fixed.

If you order on souq, please be patient your goods will arrive when they arrive, customer service if you call them is one of the worst... Giving one star as there is no option to give less than that

I bought an LG G2 from their site, which seemed as a good, but 2 months later, the phone stopped working. It got all heated up, the battery nearly exploded and the screen got bent from that.
When i contacted customer service for the warranty claim via email, they informed me to return it and they will fix it or else refund the full price. Yet later when I called them, they refused to claim it under warranty for hardware maintenance, and said that their warranty only covers software! After arguments, they said they'll pick it up, but it will take 2-4 weeks to be checked!
I don't know, but if you put a one year warranty and say that we'll fix it within 7 days else we'll refund it, that should be the case.
Really really, bad after sales service, rude and the their warranty is just there to lure you in.
Site to be avoided.

I never get any normal service. I ALWAYS have to call them after 3 - 5 days noticing that nothing happens to my order from the beginning. Every time I ordered, I had to call and check whether they even picked it up. Then it takes them three days to do that, at least. NONE of my items have ever been picked up on time, I had to call asking what is with my order before they realised they had to call the seller and then they tell me: "Item will be picked up from the seller." So I have to call them to remind them to pick it up, literally. And the calls are not free, of course. On my first order I spent AED 100 calling both them and Aramex, with both companies blaming the delay (almost two weeks delay for local delivery!) on each other. This partnership with Aramex makes it twice as bad. I usually end up picking up the item on my own although I had to pay for delivery.

Very bad service, i ordered for lap top but after a week they informed that no stock. They r not advising which is available in stock. Lines are always buzy when u want call. Its really waste of time. Won't reccomend.

Very bad service, order delivery in more than 13 days, even after 5-10 days some times they will inform you this item is not available.

If price of your purchase items get high, they will not deliver you and will make it late so will fad up and say to cancel order.

I will never recommend any one for Souq.com

Well, my experience with this website wasn't bad, but they took a very long time to deliver my product which made me upset. I didn't call or contact the customer service i just waited. However, the product was OK. I'm not that happy with it, and i still think the pictures were better. But it's ok not that bad, i might use it again in the future but for now there are some better websites that i prefer and feel more comfortable with^_^

Here is what i have to say about souq

They have very nice rules... first they tease the the customer to an extreme level by delaying the order delivery for more than 10 days... once some how magically the customer receives the order the customer has no right to touch it unless payment is made... and if somehow all goes well and customer gets the product and there is a problem in it... the customer has to suffer another 1 month of mental torture for a refund which they claim takes 3 days and we should somehow trust their word...
