It seems eDreams have a tendency to book your flight with a randomised email which becomes an issue when checking in. You will the receive a message to contact the airline as your email does not match with your booking reference.
This is what bit us as it meant we had to check in at the airport costing us £55 each, a standard airline charge for check in.
Having called them to receive a refund for this charge, they started making up all sorts of excuses, even though we were told that the randomised email was due to a technical error.
Long story short after multiple emails and phone calls back and forth. Save your self the agro this is not a credible company.
I have been waiting 2 1/2 years for my refund that was cancelled due to Covid, can't talk to a real person, you get the same bull$!t email every time, " we will have your refund to you within 7 days" or " we are waiting on the airline paying us"… just pure lies. They are nothing but scammers, never use them.
I bought a flight via Edreams over 2 years ago, 6 months later my flight was cancelled. 18 months later I'm still waiting for my refund. There are thousands of other people in my position. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES, should you book with this company.
I was able to get a flight with all of the details i needed going forward and back

I booked flights to Turkey and originally it was with two different airlines. Then I had notification my outgoing flight had been cancelled. I received part refund. All good I thought. I rebooked it independently the outgoing flight. The return flight was still on and I had to contact the company directly (Freebird) to book additional baggage. Freebird then cancelled the flight and they refunded me almost immediately the excess baggage I paid for and e-dreams refunded me another part of the payment but not total and they still owe me money £42.18. They say terms and conditions they wont pay for additional services which I did not originally pay for. This is not what their terms and conditions say anyway. They do not belong to ABTA so no go there. Next stage will be a small claims through the court and they will then have to pay me an additional £35 court costs plus an additional 8% per day they have delayed payment to me which so far is nearly four weeks worth, building up nicely. Hopefully enough to pay for my next holiday but not through e-dreams!. Thankfully I have a good experienced Lawyer on my side - my wife!
Super easy to book. Lowest price ever. They picks up the phone right away. No waiting and they are very helpful.

I was promised a refund in december last year and told it will take 15 days to refund. Nothing happened i called again an agent said it will take 3 months then i called again and another agent said 15 days again i called after 15 days was told to wait a other 21 days.i called again and excuse after excuse they gave me the wrong refund of £1017. When it was meant to be £1798. This time when i tried to call i couldnt get threw as they took the booking reference number off there system so now i cannot contact anyone no response via email aswell. Im so fustrated with this company and advise everyone not to book with them they are thieves and will never refund you properly they will send you around in circles.

We decided at the last minute to change our booking from Tampa to Toronto. Everything went smoothly but some information was missing from our ticket and we had to make a couple of phone calls to eDreams but it got worked out.

Booking the holiday was fine, however I have now had 4 emails sent 17th June
1. Confirmed booking and payment taken from credit card
2. Conformation of Prime trial
3. Partial booking now not complete from return flight
4. Refund being sent for £ 383.22

5. Nowi only have one way flight, spoke to Edream operative last Tuesday 20th June, our only option now is to cancel outbound flight. And receive refund. Since that conversation and sevetal emIls requesting contact,. I am still waiting for a refund for the outbound flights to Alicante.
I had an extremely disappointing experience with this agency. Not only did they cancel my ticket reservation without any prior consultation, but they also refunded me a mere $28 out of the $400 I paid. To make matters worse, they are completely unreachable, making it impossible to address the issue. I strongly advise avoiding this agency.

Answer: Dont believe them. They are a scammer company and just tried to scam me out of my funds. Contact your Credit Card company and file a dispute. SDreams methodology is to frustrate you until you give up from wasting so much time and they get to keep our money. Your Credit Card issuer is on your side and will revers the charges

Answer: I have the same issue. There is no help (from them) available. I gave up calling after three months... which I am sure most people do; they count on this. The savings is modest with their pricing; and hey charge for rescheduling. I rescheduled and after three months still have not received my new ticket. After many phone calls (the wait is VERY LONG to be connected to someone) I gave up; they count on you giving up. An expensive lesson - do not use them.
