There is so much small print, extra charges for not having the correct INSURANCES, yes PLURAL, even though I had confirmed on phone that the Third party CWD insurance was adequate, plus the $10 extra per day THEY charge for not buying their $27.99 a day insurance. Then they wanted us to pay for towing and additional insurance. And In Florida you MUST pay $10 extra a day for the road toll charges, even if you do not use this. This is not stated anywhere on their website. If you use them, make sure to ask all the RIGHT questions, and read all the small print 10 times.

We arranged to pick up a car for a weekly rental from Thrifty at Ft Lauderdale. When we went to the desk to pick up the car, we had the documentation from the prepaid reservation along with a valid driver's license and credit card. We were denied the reservation due to the reservation being from out of country but having a USA driver's license. We had to make a second reservation, and EconomyBookings denied our request for a refund, stating we were a "no show". We sent proof that we were there, on time, and even had an alternative rental. They stated that "no show" can mean many things, and that we were just out of luck.

They are a bunch of crooks, and should be put out of business.

I rented a car with them and also subscribed for a full coverage request. Unfortunately I had an accident and followed all the informations on the site to have the refund providing all the detais. I am still waiting fo a reply and the refund!

Follow up. After several mail they stated that payment would be made after 35 working days... The payment was supposed to be made today but I received a mail stating that "fue to some technical issues the reimbursements will be processed within 60 working days".

This is shameful!
I have no other words. I will pursue the matter with a lawyer and try to make the worst possible pubblicity on all social media!

Follow up.
In a last mail 10 days ago they announced the financial department would make the payment had "been processed on 5. 11. 2018". And also said that I would "receive the refund to your card as soon as operation between banks is completed. It can take from 3 to 28 business days, but usually up to 5 days."

Obviously 5 days have passed but nothing on the card.
My accident happened at the start of august! OF AUGUST! WE ARE IN NOVEMBER!

Since the start of november I have sent 6 mails asking for news.
NO ANSWER WHATSOVER! SHAMEFUL!

I rented a car, paid over $58.00, and when I arrived on time at the airport, the car company stated I was a "no show" as I was on the phone with them to get picked up at the off site car rental designated area. I arrived on time! When I made the car reservations, I noted on the form the time of flight arrival. I contacted the car rental company on schedule, (don't every use Mex Rent A Car!), they were rude and didn't offer any assistance. When I contacted Economy Bookings, they stated they contacted the car rental company who said I was a "no show". A big rip off and poor customer service! I will never use them again.

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Utterly disgusted and disappointed with economybookings.com. I verbally spoke to their consultant on the phone and she said I had to provide my Visa card so I don't lose the hold on the car. A couple days later my daughter checked my internet banking for me and I noticed they have taken money out of my account without my authorisation. I spoke to another consultant and he said to have a full refund I need to email a complaint. However over 2 weeks later I have a response that they cannot refund as it is over 24hours. I rang again and explained I didn't ask for this extra insurance as I already have it with Europcar. The consultant refused to refund, or even give me his name to form a complaint and disgusted that he hung up on me. DON'T ASSOCIATE WITH ECONOMY BOOKINGS!
