Not the greatest. Book was scrappy looking. It had a rental message stamp on the book itself.

I had just clicked the link sent to me to rent the book and unfortunately, I did not even read the small title on the front that said "The Managerial Chapters". However, I called and spoke with customer service who was extremely nice and was able to return the book. Thank you!
I returned a used rental textbook and over a month later eCampus charged me $333 saying that the book was damaged. The book was not damaged when I returned it aside from the regular wear and tear of a used book. They claim that the cover was completely ripped off which is, again, not how I returned it. And because they charged me over a month after I returned it I have to wonder if it was even my textbook that they are claiming is broken. I feel pretty much helpless because there is no way to prove that something or someone else damaged the book during the 5 weeks in between when I returned it and when they are claiming it is damaged. I attempted to sort this out with customer service and they ghosted me. The whole company is very sketchy. On top of this, they often contract with customers who rent books that they do not actually have in stock at the time, so the book gets delayed or doesn't come at all. This all happened to my most recent semester of books and I will NEVER EVER EVER use eCampus again.
UPDATE:
Below, you will see that eCampus has said they have issued a refund, but that is a lie. I assume they think reviewers will see that and think the issue has been resolved. They have not issued a refund. My eCampus account still shows that the rental has been "purchased" not that it has been refunded or returned as Eric C. Has stated.

You should disclose all of the terms of rental in an obvious way at the time of purchase, such as the buyout amount. Could not locate this info during shopping or checkout.
One book arrived damaged. The other is awaiting fulfillment 2 weeks later and I can't elicit an ETA from eCampus. I was charge for both books in advance! No rental period extension for the delay?
As the exclusive publisher's agent there is no excuse for being out of stock. There should be an extension of the rental period to adjust for the delay in delivery.
We are loosing valuable study time this summer that will not be available to us once the fall semester ensues!

Answer: Ecampus.com does not honor their payout times. I've been waiting 8 weeks now and still have not received payment. They also do not honor the method of payment you choose. I chose direct deposit to ensure fast delivery of the payment. They instead have decided to mail me a check, which I still have not received. Do not sell your used textbooks to ecampus.com if you actually want to receive reimbursement for them.
