Renting through eCampus.com was good in general. Shipping update came through both email and text message to keep me informed with logistics. Fee paid at checkout was higher than I expected. Overall a good rental experience.

I started by going to the publisher of the book I wanted to buy. It turns out they do not sell their own books. I was told I had to buy through eCampus instead. At eCampus.com I was not able to buy the book. I had to rent it for four months and then I can buy it. The price to buy it was not disclosed. The whole process was very frustrating.

Ordered multiple books/ ebooks from Ecampus. They charged my card but never received books/ ebooks. MORE THAN ONCE! No way to talk to a person. ZERO customer service help. Put my child behind in their studies as been trying to get the textbook since September. DO NOT ORDER FROM ECAMPUS! 0 ACCOUNTABILITY OR SERVICE!

I rented a book. I kept checking my account for delivery updates. The tracking number was from UPS and didn't work properly. But my Ecampus account showed (still shows) that my order is on its way to me (still shows it's on its way). After a week or so, I contacted customer care through live chat on the Ecampus website to ask about my package. Customer care said my package was delivered 4-5 days back. This person then sent me a different tracking number from Amazon Logistics (not UPS). The proof of delivery attached to this tracking was the outside door next to a busy road of a high-rise building with a concierge. The package was tossed next to a big door, and that's it. My package was lost, it was not delivered properly. I didn't have the correct tracking, and if I had, I could have checked the main door area earlier. I raised this concern, and the agent said we have proof of delivery case closed. Is there anything else? Asking me to get lost. I had to raise a claim with my credit card company, and after investigation, the credit card company found merit in me disputing the charge and I got a chargeback. I am never ever using this website again.

I purchased a book and waited a week and a half, which is longer than the average delivery time. I checked the website and found out the book was out of stock. The money is charged immeadeatly on purchase to my credit card. In conclusion, I missed class assignments and still have to pay delivery fee even though the book was never delivered in the first place.

Better quality last time

Okay so far! The text look like they are in fair condition, but clearly very used. I do not think that they would be books that I would want to keep and continue using after May class, so it shouldn't be a problem.

No books No service

I've tried to place several orders, which always go through and then get cancelled for various reasons. I tried reaching out to customer service, but they basically know nothing at all. I asked to escalate this, and they said they would submit a ticket and it would take 2 days. They said I would get an email, but I never did. There is no books- there is no customer service! How can anyone rely on this company?

Placed an order for an in-stock item over 2 weeks ago. As far as I can tell, it has not shipped yet (and I keep getting pesky requests to rate my experience with eCampus.com!) First experience with this site, and I doubt that I will be back unless this is the only source for an item that I want.

Physical books at a good price

I found out about eCampus when I learned that I needed to bring physical copies of my books to lectures. However, I don't like having to purchase books that I'm only going to use for a few months because it creates a lot of clutter. The "rent for a quarter" option was just what I needed, and the books got here within a few days of my order. Awesome experience.
