I ordered a textbook that I need for this semester on Dec 29 and on Jan 8 they sent an email wanting to know if it was delivered, which it was not. At some point they canceled the order and refunded my money and never sent an email to let me know. So now I will have to pay the highest price possible and for faster shipping. I will not ever order another book from them. eCampus.com is TERRIBLE!

I used to order from ecampus for years but this past year I ordered a book for law school (upwards of $200 to RENT). I never received the book. I emailed them and asked them to send me another or issue me a refund. They refused to so and then made me pay another $200+ to buy the book since I was unable to return it (as I literally did not have the book in the first place). Will never trust them again.
** they said they tried to help me through here. They just told me to visit their website for help and I did that like 3 different times previously. No actual help was offered.
I ordered a book with the expectation that I would receive it in a reasonable amount of time. I am a full-time student. I even went so for as to pay for the book to be expedited in the shipping process. Only after I pay for the book and wait a week am I told it could be up to 4 weeks before I receive to text book. I feel as though this is the "ole bait and switch". You got my money and there is no concern for my need of the item ASAP. My class will end before I receive the book. I requested a refund and your comers service agent denied my request. The reason I was given was not explained or disclosed to me before I rendered my hard earned money to your company. This is an unelectable business practice and I have opened a case for refund with PAYPAL. I feel as if I have been taken by a used car salesman!

Ordered on 12/24. Received on 1/6. Paid 4.99 for shipping. Took 14 days to arrive. This is ridiculous. You were one of several outlets that had the book at this price, next time I try someone else.
Too many highlights in the book it may be distracting to read
I needed two mandatory textbooks for my Spring semester. I searched over four different book rental websites and eCampus.com was the most affordable.
I was still charged $0.99 for a book that never shipped. I didn't get a status update for over a week after paying the entire balance. Inventory status is not stated clearly on eCampus.

Eight days after I was told to expect my order, the order was cancelled. Three days before Christmas. I guess I should be happy that at least they say they'll refund the price to my card. I was able to find the item from a different seller, & am told it has already shipped, but if course that doesn't help for Christmas. It wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't lost that week expecting it.

I was led to this site by the promise of item availability; however, weeks after order placement, and days before the item was needed I was advised there was a stock shortage. I now have no time to find a suitable replacement. Needless to say, I am highly disappointed.

So I rented a book and it was already an older book when I received it not in new condition. When I returned it I got charged for damages. The book stayed on my backpack and I literally only used it like 2-3 times. When I received the book it was already damaged.
It was easy finding the book. The price for rental was decent. The product that arrived was ok, nothing great. But the shipping felt like it took forever!

The books I need are rarely available and when my professor changed my books, I had to return them. ECampus falsely claimed that my books were not in returnable condition and kept my money. This needs to be rectified immediately. I have informed the BBB and expect a prompt response.

Answer: Ecampus.com does not honor their payout times. I've been waiting 8 weeks now and still have not received payment. They also do not honor the method of payment you choose. I chose direct deposit to ensure fast delivery of the payment. They instead have decided to mail me a check, which I still have not received. Do not sell your used textbooks to ecampus.com if you actually want to receive reimbursement for them.
