Redeeming my gift card from Inbox Dollars was so easy. From the time for requesting to redeem the earning from Inbox Dollars to cashing out with what you chose. I chose Ebay and like I said it was easy!
Ebay is charging a percentage on the tax that the seller pays as part of their fee. This is ilegal and the government should look into this. If you complaint they refunded it to you, but if you don't check their robing you blind. Their % should be on what you sold the item not on the price plus tax. I'm amaze the government hasn't shut them down.
I've been selling on eBay for over 10 years and have always been did life by with taking care of my customers. I just received negative feedback and eBay has refused to remove it. The review is a lie. The buyer completely lied in the review and eBay has refused to take the mega or review off. After 10 years of consistent selling service, they are allowing some Ahole to tarnish my perfect record. It's not right and had made me look at eBay in a totally different way. SELLERS BEWARE
My account got restricted said needed photo of bank to confirm acct they went into my acct and took money days before?
Suspended my account for not shipping out 1 item due to being out of town. Now I can never sell on there. They absolutely suck. Tried contacting them and they said there is nothing to do, that I am the bad guy and I cant be on there. I didn't ship 1 item! And since my selling score is low then, I cant sell. It is a bunch of crap
0 (zero) stars... You will only seek problems and trouble. This company is SO greedy that do NOT give a crap about anyone... buyers or sellers... ONLY CARE HOW TO MILK THE COW... I know first hand... been on ebay for 22 years.
I ordered a pair of supposedly leather pants. The seller said they were in the US, they were in China. I ordered them and they are cheap plastic. The seller said they would accept my return but I had to pay for the shipping. It is eBay policy the seller pays for the shopping if the item is damaged or FAKE. EBay will not back me on this and there is no one to speak to in customer service now. Everything is done electronically. I need help.! EBay is now not a good place to shop. You can not get any help. I contacted them through their site and it was no help.
Their money back guarantee is fraudulent advertising. When and if you're able to speak with someone all you get is the run around. Amazon is way better
I was bidding on an item and it became obvious that the bidding was rigged and I had no chance to get the highest bid. I had the highest bid and with a few seconds left, I placed a bid for 25.00 more and I lost the bid by. 50. It was fixed somehow. I will never do business with this company again! I am a business man and I hate bad business!
Unbelievable, the CEO makes anywhere between $35-77 MILLION dollars a year, yet us peasants can't get them to answer the phone to resolve a problem. I've been selling on many different sites now.
When you sell, you will get charged by eBay:
12.55% Final Value Fee
8% End Auction-style listing fee
I bought some Ryobi tool holders from Bumbee421. Quality was very poor. Vender stalked, called and sent threatening messages to my phone and threatened to send a special package to my house. Ebay said they would hold vender accountable but 2 weeks later vender is still active. Filed a police report verified what happened with pictures and voice-mail threatening messages. DO NOT USE EBAY OR BUMBIE421. BOTH SITES ARE DANGEROUS.
Ebay charges ridiculous fees for sellers. Do not sell your item on ebay. They tax the heck out of you. Also, of you sell an item, and the buyer claims they never get it, if you didn't pay for shipment tracking then they will automatically take the money from you and refund. So if you're selling low dollar items where expensive shipping doesn't make sense, its not even worth it. Don't get me started on their xustomer support.
I would never recommend selling through EBay, here is why. I'm a first time seller on EBay figure I could make some profit for the first time selling in action, thinking wow made some profit nice they took a huge fee. I figured this sucks but no big deal. But no it is they have my money on hold for well over a week. I did prove my item was shipped and delivered, but I still have not got paid. I had to take my own money out of pocket to ship. Get your act together EBay and pay me! I will never use EBay again.
EbAy has this ludicrous idea of charging my bank account for shipping on the purchasers side and sometimes not giving all the shipping money back. Charge my BANK not ebay account MY Bank account because THEY bought my Items Its Down Right "LOCO" never have I ever heard of such nonsense. Another planet another mindset their on. Make ebay rich and screw everyone else. Also Charge Me because I don't go with their price as well. Charge is their way of telling u we own u or else... aka #chargeany1 #ChargeU4Life #headache4Life
Most sellers will not answer questions and misrepresent everything and pose as US sellers when they are from China. I will never buy from noncitizens of the USA. The Chinese are taking over eBay. Their human rights record is disturbing. Facebook practices price collusion and lies about having a money-back guarantee. They don't. The sellers are forced to impound their seller's fees and they pay in the rare event of honoring the money-back guarantee. Plus, eBay has a 40% discount with the USPS and the reflected suggested shipping fees are the highest profit center for eBay. They protect sellers, not buyers. Buyers can not block sellers and eBay will frequently remove negative feedback. Ebay is the most corrupt platform on the internet. I am forced to get everything in writing or I will not buy. This is a partial list of their corruption. I only buy from honest sellers. I am very local in the rate event I find a honest seller. Thank you! Ken
I'll make the short. Order an item on eBay and got ripped off, wound up it was a fake dealer. Never did get my money back. Talk to a representative and he was more concerned about how much money I had in my checking and savings account, which had nothing to do with anything.
BEWARE! I do not deal with eBay anymore only Amazon. So far no problems with them.
I've been buying and selling on EBay for 20+ years. When I first started selling, digital cameras weren't widely popular yet, so we sold without pics. We had to describe every item in minute detail. So that gives you an idea of how long I've been using EBay.
The past few years, I mostly start selling in the fall, to make extra money for Christmas. I have to say that using the phone app makes listing products so much easier! I used to have to help others get started with selling because it was more complicated. Now, with the app, it's all self-explanatory. Anyone can do it! And the fact that you can add up to 12 pictures means you don't have to spend as much time describing things in minute detail.
Now, there will always be people who will complain.
People don't like the fees. Well, then don't use EBay. I mean, of course you're going to pay fees. It's a company that is looking to make money, but it's a reputable company that can also help you make money.
Now, as a buyer, I have to say that they've improved on their customer service over the years. If I get a product that's not as described, I contact the seller and if they don't resolve my issue, EBay steps in and gives me a refund. Honestly, I use Amazon as well. But EBay is my go-to if I'm looking for something that's older, or unique. Or things like used clothing and shoes. Last year I found a pair of expensive hiking boots I loved on the brand website, but they were $140. With some patience and diligence, I found the same exact boots listed as excellent condition for $40. I got them and they were brand new. So EBay saved me $100!
Definitely recommend EBay as both a buyer and seller!
If the product is really cheap there, it is a fake account. Ebay needs to be responsible for that! OR they need to take care of it... I will never again buy on Ebay. I would prefer paying more on Amazon / Walmart and have it safe in my house.
Just a heads up on these products on this site! If you are looking to invest in coins, gold or silver bullion,. I have not seen a single listing worth the money! Maybe a combination of high seller fees and greed but, i see people buying these items, at way over spot price,. And then alot of the listings also have shipping charges! You can simply google,. Gold and silver bullion,. And find a respectable dealer! They charge a couple dollars over spot,. But you know you're getting silver and not fake crap! Then when it comes time to sell your metal,. You have a receipt where it came from,. Which adds buyer confidence,. And in turn will get a better offer on your stack! Tell them you got it from ebay,. And see what price you get! You spend $10-15 over spot by buying there(according to todays prices),. Then you take a beating on the tail end,. To cash in! It just doesnt make sense! If you stack bullion,. Do yourself a favor and look into any of the respected bullion houses,. And not only save,. But get way more metal for your hard earned money!
Answer: I would never buy a used car without seeing it in person and having it checked out.
Answer: Ebay is a den of thieves. Even Ebay is evasive on complaints to answers. When looking for items, be sure to be fully informed to what you are shopping and use all that knowledge to cypher the listing, even then have found those that list items to be evasive on answers. Avoid ebay if possible!
Answer: For their own purposes and to protect dishonest sellers. I was once an avid EBay shopper, but now avoid EBay. Buyer protection no longer exists. You buy at your own risk.
Answer: Ebay sells nothing. You are dealing with private sellers. Some are good, some are not. The best way to determine this is to check the feedback. I personally never buy from anyone who has a feedback lower than 90%. 96% is considered bad, by Ebay. Take that with a grain of salt. Ebay management is nuts.
Answer: If you haven't already learned the hard way that Ebay is just pure bullshit when it comes to the sellers rights. When someone wants to send it back for any reason other than it doesn't work as described, you will be footing the bill. Not only will you lose the money you paid to ship it to them, Ebay will offer to provide a return label for them at your expense. Yep, that's right. They will bill you the price of the label if you don't provide it. Either way, you are paying for it to get back to you. It's get better. You can't leave negative feedback for the buyer either. It's not an option NO MATTER
Answer: Not to me! It's my main shopping tool! I look for good deals and free shipping!
Answer: Yes. You are right. All what people told you are correct. Don't trust ebay and the seller on ebay. Amazon much better than them. But anyway the best way to buy electronics from the local stores or official stores.
Answer: This depends on the seller of the item - carefully check their feedback and trust you intuition if you have doubts try another seller you feel safer with...
Answer: Hi Tom, As for reviews, you don't get them. It's called feedback. When you buy an item, the seller will probably leave feedback after you leave feedback for them. I hope that answers your question. Nancy
Answer: Depends on the seller. I wouldn't buy anything off ebay because there a crappy company.
