Prior to selling my unwanted branded clothes here, I read reviews for this website. I should've listened to them but I was thinking "I don't need these clothes anyway, the most I can get is probably $60" and boy was I wrong. I sent 28 items, all the brands they accepted, no strains, no over wear, and they've only accepted 7 items. Seriously? And the total cash I earned was only $32. I sent over one jean that I saw on the accepted brand, when they said it was unaccepted brand, I rechecked and saw that they have taken that brand off. They scam and most likely use the rejected clothes to sell on their website, and you can't do anything about it. They're lucky I don't have any attachments to those clothes. I'm in need of giving away my old clothes, but I'm going to give it away to GoodWill or the Salvation Army! This place will make you punch the computer screen and want you to cuss the living hell out of this company. Never again. I'm very disappointed in the offers they have given me.

I have bought several items on ebay, after I sold my first item they sent me 7 identical emails, sent at the exact same moment, which said there was "activity that alerted security" and my account was suspended. When I called I had to talk to someone who only half understood english, was on the phone for over an hour and then they said they had to ask me security questions. The first one was about my grown son which I am not answering questions about so they said they would not allow me to open another account. Terrible customer service. I could easily open another account but will never do it. I will not deal with a company who treats their customers like this.

I sold a guitar on Ebay for $53. Ebay then charged me a "insertion and final value fee" of $53. THE WHOLE FREAKIN PRICE OF THE GUITAR! They pretty much just stole the guitar from me...

Thats the last time I sell anything on Ebay.

Grumblings over.

Ebay is completely useless at resolving any problems you may have, their representives have the audacity to ask you what they can do and what you are trying to achieve by calling since they keep repeating they can't help you. And their feedback system sucks, don't trust it. I gave a negative feedback to a seller because the item was in horrible condition, they kept sending me messages to contact ebay to remove the feedback in exchange for 50% refund. I contact ebay to let them know that this seller is pushing buyers in this way and how do they resolve this problem, by doing nothing. So clearly you can't trust ebay to do anything right. Last time I did business with them,

I must admit when I first heard about ebay I wasn't all that keen to use it, my friend had told me about it one day so I decided to have a look then I realised what all the fuss was about, there is so many products on this site at bargain prices I myself have used ebay on several occasions to purchase things. There's very little about this site that I dislike but one is when you bid on an item it often takes some time to update so you don't know if your the highest bidder especially if there's only a few minutes left on an item. When I was offered to write a review by bzzagentuk I was very happy to. I have had very good experience from using eBay. And the sellers I have received items of have communicated with me so minor issues have been resolved easily and quickly.

At this time I left this sellor a review that I felt that he desired. A netural. I did not feel that he communicated very well with me during our transaction. And that is why I left him a neutral feed back score on his sight. He sent me an email that he would block me from buying from him in the future. I feel he was very unprofessional in his actions. If he is going to block someone from buying from him in the future for any reason he should just go ahead and do it and not bother telling the buyer that he is doing so. Especially since it was only because of the feed back that I gave to him. I also felt he was only interested in the gettting more ebay points rather than to communicate better with his buyers. The name of the company on ebay is called surplus-cartridges

Use ThredUp instead!
November 4, 2014

I stumbled upon Twice about six months ago and I thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread. I'm constantly getting rid of clothes so having someplace to send them and actually get money to buy *new* clothes was amazing. I've sent them over half of my wardrobe over the last six months. Their buying and selling practices are extremely inconsistent and it's seriously irked me, now I use ThreadUp instead and rarely sell to Twice.

They are extremely inconsistent about the quality of items they buy. They have rejected items I've sent them due to "overall" wear when the items were NEVER worn or worn once. They had zero "wear." I had a really nice pair of Seven jeans that I sent them and they rejected due to "overall wear." I was seriously dumbfounded. The only thing I can think of is that they had a slight distressed look due to the wash and they mistook this for wear. There was zero staining and zero wear on the hems. Another item I sent in which I was amazed they rejected was a pair of ponte knit grey pants by Alice & Olivia that were in perfect condition, I seriously had worn them once (like many women, I have tons of stuff I have worn once and then seem to never wear again). They rejected them claiming there was a "loose thread" on hem. I had never seen a loose thread, it just strikes me as overly picky.

I don't think their so-called "apparel experts" that evaluate the clothes are experts at all. Since they accepted enough other items in this batch of clothes and I wasn't going to wear these jeans anyway, I accepted their offer, but it really irritated me that they rejected them for a completely unfounded reason. If that isn't bad enough, I have purchased items from them that are in WAY worse condition than any of the items I've sent them that they rejected due to "overall wear." How annoying!

I've noticed lately their inventory and selection seems to be getting worse. I think people are getting really annoyed with their inconsistent buying practices and not sending their clothes to them, much like myself. I understand they want their clothes to be "like new" condition but I think they'd be better off allowing slightly more imperfections and having more selection and not pissing off so many people with their rigid buying practices. ThredUp has a much better business model in that they list things with a "Tiny Flaw." ThredUp definitely has items with visible wear but so what? I will decide if it's too much wear and not purchase it! I'd rather have more selection to browse.

If you haven't heard of ThredUp, I highly recommend checking them out. They beat Twice hands down in both selection, buying practices, and overall customer service. They used to make you pay for returns but now they allow free returns if you choose store credit. That is fine by me! Twice can kick rocks.

STAY AWAY from Zamek Limited posing as UK Toy Wholesaler on Alibaba. This is a fraudulent company that states 50% at purchase (wire transfer sent $1,37.40 USD) 50% at delivery. First 50% to Barclay Bank London then received email won't ship out until another 50% sent to a Nigerian bank. Danny Bogden (supposed Marketing Manager *******@gmail.com) is very responsive to emails up to the point you send money then MANY emails later-no response! Wishing I had read this jabber because losing my money.

Be very careful when dealing with ebay sellers who sell " Microsoft refurbished computers ". There is a scam going around where sleazy sellers sell computers that are in good working condition for a very short time. When you contact these sellers about repairs they will tell you that you don't have to return the computer for repairs they will have their " technicians " contact you and they will go into your computer to fix any problems. THIS IS A SCAM! Don't be fooled by the seller's good feedback! They pick and choose their victim. They keep their victims low to maintain their " Good Feedback ". One seller in question? He's located in Chino Hills, California. EBAY seller name is FORTWAYNE 2010. Think twice about dealing with this seller!

What confuses me about this site is that all their items are professionally photographed, and authenticity is guaranteed.

I purchased a really cute J Crew leopard print cardigan and what I received was a piece of crap. First of all, it was J Crew OUTLET, which was not disclosed in the description. Factory offers lower price items, and with that, lower quality. The two dots below "J CREW" on the tags are a dead giveaway.

The sweater itself arrived clean and pressed, but shockingly with THREE holes in it. One by the tag and two on the sleeve. How could they have been missed?!

Needless to say I am returning and not using their site again. Do not recommend.

Great site for buyers but not sellers to many loopholes buyers can use to get free items.

The worst part about eBay is you can show proof that you sent out the item and eBay will still refund the buyer their money, the buyer gets to keep their money and item.

The boots looks cheap, is ugly, completely flat and has no cushioning whatsoever. Don't waste your time in this company. On the next day, I saw the same one on dresseswoo.com and asked the seller. And I got my answer. I purchased. When I received it, i satisfied.

The Worse Experience on online shopping in middle of Diwali Spree.!
I have purchased a LED TV on 20-Oct-2014 from ebay.in, while ordering the item, the estimated delivery time was shown as 25-Oct-2014. After looking for the delivery date only, I ordered the item. BUT after placing the order it became 01-NOV-2014 suddenly. I tried to reach the seller but his response is never supportive. The seller was Yogendra Sahoo. Even after that, I tried calling ebay customer care, and it was most irritating call of my life. I was listening the music for 30 Mins and IVR was saying Your call is Important to us"and we will connect you ASAP. After 32 minutes the call was answered. And when I placed my query to the customer care representative, he said nothing can be done. He was not ready to say anything to seller about this. Hi just said, the delivery will be done on 1-Nov-2014 only and if you dont want it, just return the item and nothing can be done for this. They are misguiding the users and putting the wrong information before order. And 0% co-operation for the queries you put. Worst. More than Worst experience.

I've used this site several times and both times received ridiculously low payouts. ($3.00 for this year's Kut from the Kloth jeans worn 3 or 4 times). I was also told the coach purse I used about two weeks had "stains and wear", which it did not. They offered me nothing. I saved my $3.00 check to put on my bulletin board to remind me not to fall for this again and to warn others.

I have been selling on ebay for several years and have had an overall good experience. The one thing I do not like about ebay is how hard it is to talk to a real person. Also ebay is not very supportive of protecting the seller from irresponsible buyers who give negative feedback that is unsupported. The best thing about ebay is the international reach for sellers. Most people on ebay are good, responsible buyers and seller, but as has been pointed out watch for feedback ratings before doing business with sellers or buyers.

Ebay just posted quarterly profits of, I don't know, a couple BILLION dollars... and yet, here I am on Saturday waiting to speak to a customer representative and have waited over an hour so far. I'm sure their call center (filled with minimum wage workers) don't see any benefit of those profit levels and as a customer, I would expect they can hire more minimum wage workers to fulfill service demands. The only reason this isn't a one star is I'm expecting that once I get through (over an 1 hour? Come on!) that the call center worker will be very pleasant!
