Do yourself a favor and avoid this company forever. We tried twice to rent cars from this agency in different occasions. Slow unprofessional and rude!
Stay away from this extremely bad car rental business. They will rip you off at any chance they get. If you do use them check your car over very carefully. They will charge criminal rates for the slightest mark on windscreen. Rude and arrogant staff. Worst car rental in the uk.
Do not use this company! You have been warned! I got pulled over for expired plates and when I addressed it with easi rent... They said "it's ok"... If you like getting pulled over by the cops... use this company. West Palm Beach Hilton Location...
AVOID - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
The worst car hire company I have ever had to deal with! They appear cheap but make up the difference by either upselling you further insurance when you pick up the car (which they do in a very pushy manner), and if you don't take out the additional insurance, by charging you for damage to the car, even if you did not do it. Another way they try and scam money out of you is to sell you the full tank at a 'discounted' rate. The rate they quote is much less than the rate that you can buy fuel in a local station, however, they charge for many more litres than the tank can actually hold, so avoid this also.
I picked up a vehicle from their Dublin office at 5pm at which point it was dark outside. When I collected the car the agent told me that there was no record of any damage on the car and it was my responsibility to tell him what damage was on the car so that it could be marked up on the record sheet. This was almost impossible to do as the car was black and I had to inspect it outside in the dark with no additional lighting. Even in these conditions I could see that the car was heavily damaged pretty much all over and the record sheet was covered in damage locations by the time I had finished looking at the car. The agent agreed with all the damage indicated, even though a few moments before he said there was no record of any damage on the car!
As soon as it was daylight (9am the next morning) I took pictures of the car to have a clear record of the damage.
When I returned the car the agent (female with blond hair - the rudest and most unprofessional agent I have ever had to deal with) looked at the marked up sheet and then went to inspect the car on her own. She then came back to tell me that there was a dent in the only location that had no marked damage on the sheet. I looked back through the photos that I had taken the next morning in daylight and yes there was a dent visible in those photos, but this was not considered suitable evidence for easirent and they charged me for damage to the car and an extortionate admin fee on top.
So I would just AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.
One big ripoff! All of the negative reviews are 100% accurate. Waited 1 hour for the shuttle. There were so many waiting that some of the passengers had to sit in others laps so everyone could fit and not have to wait another hour. When you get there the location is a very shady looking run down old gas station. The customer service is terrible and they pressure you into purchasing extra insurance and toll passes. 2 1/2 hours later we finally got the car. Terrible experience and ended up not being any cheaper. JUST DON'T DO IT!
I rented a car through RentalCars.com from Easirent 12/27 - 12/30 in Orlando for $189 (Not bad right, well). My flight was delayed and the shuttle took 1hr. Tried to call Easirent many times RNA. Finally shuttle comes and when we arrive they tell all of us that they don't have a car for us and the Terms and Conditions state they could only hold the car for 2hrs. The Terms actually say that "if you don't arrive on time" they don't have to hold a car and will charge you full price. They ended up shuttling us to another rental car location which they wanted to charge me $660. I ended up using Uber. I called Rentalcars to ask for a refund. They opened up a case and told me it can take up to 20days. Well 5min later my case was closed with no refund. Don't use Rentalcars.com or Easirent (small place off the airport). Next time I'll just get a car from a trusted place like Hertz or Avis.
Searched for a rental car at Orlando Internal Airport for a trip, it didn't mention it was not a airport pick up and so not 24 hours service, but need to shuttle out of the airport to the pick up the car.
Flight got delayed and when I reached the airport, I realized they are not inside. Called the rental customer service number, the automated service asked me to wait in the shuttle pick-up area. After waiting over 30 minutes, I asked some other shuttle pick services folks and they mentioned Easirent closes by 1 am. I then realized they have specific timings for pick up as well.
Called up next day to find out my rental care reservation was cancelled and I was charged a no-show fee. Contacted Priceline and was told nothing can be done, try to work out with the rental car directly. Contacted the rental car, the lady mentioned she spoke to the manager and she can honour the old rates to me, I figured that was still acceptable. I called up again to confirm my pick-up time, someone else mentioned the price was twice now and for a different car, and at this busy time verbal commitments can't not be fulfilled. She wasn't willing to discuss any other rental car options (and I understand might have been all booked) but put the phone down abruptly after mentioning I can look for options elsewhere.
So the whole experience cost me no-show fees, cab from the airport to hotel and new rental car location, at last moment price!
Clearly, I like everyone else should have read the reviews BEFORE I trusted this company. They need to be shut down ASAP.
They don't answer the phone. (We called for over an hour)
When we arrived there were FIVE employees standing around doing nothing!
They are NOT at the airport like the website says. They are 7 miles away.
We waited over an hour and 20 minutes for the shuttle that comes every "10-minutes"
Their place of business is a DUMP.
They would not take our insurance and insisted that we took theirs. We refused and left and found a ride back to the airport.
They still charged our credit card.
I am sure that any good review they have (6 out of 110 on this site) are from employees or friends of employees. If 104 people out of 110 rate them a 1 star and say they suck there should be a way to get them shut down.
Priceline should taker them off their site too.
This place is the worst company I have ever dealt with.
I booked my Easirent car through Expedia. I had a reservation and was given a phone number to call upon arrival in West Palm Beach. I called the number to arrange my pickup and heard a baby crying in the background. The operator proceeded to tell me my car wasn't available and I should "check back" in 3 hours to see if was available then. Sure, let me sit in the airport and wait for Easirent to get their stuff together because I have no appointments to go to. Are f'n kidding me. The company is a joke, stay away and get some day care for your operators. Unprofessional! Let me know if you are a public company so I can short your stock.
We waited 2.5 hours at the Orlando while staff putzed around in slow motion. It was impossible to figure out what they were doing. They tried to overcharge me and then said they didn't have the car I requested and gave me a mini van with about one gallon of gas in it. This was midnight in a rainstorm. It's unbelievable to me that a business that delivers such terrible service can survive. Avoid at all costs.
I won't write a book because everyone else pretty well sums up this so called business. But... I will say we made tons of calls to their number given and even hit each extension but no one even answered! Shuttles don't run like message indicated. Their 15 minutes was more like every hour. When turning car in left a couple things in back of car. Less than 24 hours later I called a ton more times for someone to finally answer to only; be told that they do not keep items they discard. REALLY?! They had our number to call! Never, ever will I ever deal with this so called place again. Shame on me for not paying any attention to customers reviews! Lesson learned!
Reservation # NPRL7F3B77@ FLL airport in Florida on 10/11/19 when I found out my flight will next day 10/12/19, i called to inform them before my pickup to change reservation date got no answer phone just wrang out did that multiple time before pickup... next morning called again still no answer that continue even when i got to airport in Florida still no answer... I notice my card was charged on 10/12/19, so while@ airport since no one will pickup the phone a near by car rental company shuttle bus came by the driver was nice enough to give a ride over to Easirent yard while I was there the phones continue to ring even though the workers were in the building... long story short the charge my card even though the were out of cars. Beware not good.
I have rented well over 100 cars all over the world from countless agencies... This is by far the worst ever. Bottom line is they overcharged me by double after the paperwork did not match what they sent me. The agent refused to change it even though I showed there's were different then mine. After all that the forced me to purchase insurance on the car for 2 days even though my CC cover it. My Email said I was to pick up the car the morning for the 27th at 7 am and drop it off the same day 8 pm... I was charged double for the entire trip. If I was not is such a hurry to my appointment I would have went somewhere else... DON'T RENT FROM THIS COMPANY OR HOLIDAY TRAVELS.
Had a issue with being overcharged they won't take my car now and they won't handle business I am forced to go to the bank their cars are very old and had many many miles and the tires are almost worn out
All Kinds of hidden information. Out from the airport. You cant add your own sunpass, if your from Florida you dont have unlimited miles. The clerk at the desk for return Jenifer was rude af. Hopefully everybody comment about the company. They only have a 1star because that was the lowest I could give. No customer there was help.
Terrible company. DO NOT USE THEM
DON't think you are getting a good deal.
I rented a car for my Miami trip. Plane was late and was late picking up my car.
My car was cancelled by the company for being 2 hours late for pick up. NO notice in their policy of cancellation or any notice what so ever. Was told to go and request a refund. Refund was denied because I did not pick up the car.
I could not pick it up because they cancelled it and wanted $50 reinstatement fee which I refused to pay. Nothing in their terms and condition have language as to this. I asked to see the policy and they would not provide. What a terrible customer service and lack of understanding of what customer service is.
They company charged my £30 to cancel my booking which i made less than 1 hour ago.
Scam stay away.
SCAM. Big time scam. I got a quote from them online and when I arrived at their office they gave me a quote that was $250 more than originally quoted. I said I won't take that offer and left and went to Avis. Then I found they charged my credit card $57.26 anyways. I tried to dispute this charge with my credit card company showing proof of my arrival and departure dates and that my Avis contract coincided with my flight dates and the Chase credit card couldn't allow the credit back because Easirent was able to confirm my name and date I arrived even though they didn't have a signed contract with me. I tried to call Easirent customer service line several times and that phone number just rings with no one answering. I hit their live chat button and all you get is a blank site with a picture of a live chat button. Like I said this place is a scam and just for the principal of it I'm going to have my lawyer send them a letter to sue. Do not go near this place!
To many bad things to tell you about my first and only experience that I really don't know where to start. So I will just say you might be enticed by the low rates, but if you us them you will wish you never heard the name Easirent!
Terrible services. On their website they say pickup passengers every 15 min, but actually they make you waiting at airport over 2 hr and donot answer the phone call.
Answer: To whom it may concern, This is the complaint letter I sent to those whom I thought could help my wife and I solve an issue that we found to be Very troubling. It involved an employee at the Jacksonville Easienrt, specifically the manager named Franky. Priceline Booking Number 202-281-644-38 Easirent Reference Number 1863754 Easirent Wally Park, Jacksonville, FL airport We went to pick-up our rental on February 15th, 2020 and had all the information we were told to bring (credit card, drivers license). The young man, Franky waiting on us, informed us we needed proof of our auto insurance which we did not bring because we were not asked to bring it. When we challenged that he informed us that local rules can require them to ask for proof of insurance. We have Erie Insurance and at this time on a Saturday they are closed and not open on Sunday. The manager, Franky, said we couldn't have the car without proof of insurance. We told him we would call and give them that information on Monday and he said ok. Then he blindsided us about the in-kind coverage on our credit card which we thought we had but would check with Bank America, his response made us feel threatened and also taken advantage of. Again, none of this was mentioned on any of the documents. It was hard to understand Franky at times which only made the situation worse so my wife took over. Once again, we were told we couldn't take the car without the proof of insurance, which also was never mentioned on the paperwork. My wife explained we would call them on Monday with the information so the charges that we paid extra for, would be taken off once that information was given Franky and that would be ok. We signed off and waited for the car, which was not what we asked for. It looked like the worst one on the lot and the windows were very dirty and very hard to see out of the windows because of the stickers on the side window. On Monday, as promised., we called Erie to get the information for our insurance and also Visa to make sure we had the in-kind benefit. Both of these services were to be taken off our bill once the information was suppled. Called 1-888-901-5121 on Monday the 17th twice, once busy and 2nd time hung up on after we told them we were calling with the information they needed. Called again Tuesday the 18th and kept getting busy signals. Not only was this a terrible experience initially, but customer service once they knew why we called, decided to hang up and not answer the phone after they saw the number. Thankfully, the return went smoothly and very glad the person who waited on us was helpful. The rep at the desk upon return, Dasha, informed us that all she has to do is ask for proof, if not available then it would have been accepted, that being two adults in there 70's would have insurance.
Answer: I want someone on the phone from Easirent to explain to me why they aren't the fraud they clearly are...
Answer: They tried to charge me an extra £120 on arrival to upgrade as they'd run out of cars of the booked class. Argued and argued but they only threatened to call the police to remove me from their office. Had to pay £55 for a taxi and wasted an hour and a half.
Answer: Depends on the size but i was about £27 each for just a 2 day car hire. And i had to fit them both myself! What a company.
