DO NOT USE! It's absolutely NOT worth the savings, because the service is trash! They are located further than anyone (had to take two shuttles to get there) and that's not even the worst part. The wait was 2 hours just to get processed for a prepaid rental, and then the car that was reserved for 5pm wasn't ready at 7 pm; they said it was another 20 min wait for them to clean it. When we finally got it, the car smelled like trash and the "cleaning" job was a joke. We drove with the windows open… The staff was very nonchalant about the entire situation. There wasn't a single customer in line with us that didn't regret their decision to book their rental with them. Many people tried to cancel, but if you prepaid you're stuck. Do yourself a favor and avoid this ghetto place!
I had a prepaid reservation at Easirent's Charlotte-Douglas Airport location (Ref #****486) and experienced significant delays, poor service, and complete unavailability of a rental car.
Upon arrival at CLT, I called the local office for shuttle pickup. No one answered, and my call was routed to the national call center. I was told the shuttle would arrive in 5–8 minutes, yet I waited over an hour and had to make multiple calls before it finally arrived.
When I reached the rental office, I waited another 30 minutes in line, only to be told no cars were available despite having prepaid. The staff member at the counter was rude, dismissive, and offered no apology or solutions.
I had to return to the airport and rent a vehicle from another company. This location is disorganized, unreliable, and lacks basic customer service. I strongly advise travelers to book elsewhere to avoid wasting time and money.
LIARS & THIEVES! DO NOT EVER USE, UNLESS YOU WANT GET RIPPED OFF! The counter person in Charlotte told me I did in fact need a toll pass when I asked if there were tolls from there to Myrtle Beach, so he tacked on another $165. Well, guess what? NO TOLL ROADS. But here's the kicker: I called when I got there and they said they could do nothing until I returned the car back to the office. Well, guess what? "Sorry I can't help you, you have to call the 1-800 number." Ok, so I called the 1-800 number, and they said they would submit my request for a refund of the $165 under fraudulent pretenses, and someone would call me back in 2 days. Well, guess what? 3 days later I finally called, and SURPRISE SURPRISE, "Sorry Sir, but you used the service as an insurance policy to cover any possible tolls, so no refund. So guess what? I am not only writing this review, but copy & pasted it in 5 other sites, AND charging back thru my cc company. DO NOT EVER USE, UNLESS YOU WANT GET RIPPED OFF!
I was disappointed with this company and with driving around Tampa, in general. I thought I was getting a good deal when I rented a car with them for 10 days for $345 via Expedia. When I showed up, they charged me an extra $450 for required insurance including $12 per day for a toll package. I opted out of the toll package which, in the end, did turn out to be the right way to go. But tolls are also a scam in Tampa because it's sometimes hard to know whether or not you are getting on a tollway. I know that I blew through one toll for sure and easirent charged me $30 for that. But, now they've charged 2 more $30 charges for tolls that I never knew I had. This still is better than paying for the $120 toll package.
Use a burner credit card that you can cancel after working with this company if you don't want to have toll bills coming at you for weeks afterwards!

. We arrived to Easirent to pick up an SUV that was prepaid via Priceline. We have 2 adults and 4 kids. Upon delivering the vehicle to us, the agent said we must rent seat belts. We declined and my wife and 2 five years old left to her parents house nearly. I had to go back in the long line to get to the counter. The same agent said he wouldn't give me the car because he did not see my wife left. I complained to Priceline who said Easirent told them it showed the car was picked up. This is a blatant lie and I demanded proof where it showed when it was picked up and returned because I was denied a prepaid car that resulted in me having no rental car.
Rented car through them in Fort Myers FL, they said Fort Myers airport in the airport but unfortunately the company "easirent" was outside the airport and the most horrible about it that we have to wait for the shuttle to take us to the rental place about an hour in the 96 degrees outside! Lesson learned never book with Priceline neither easirent!
A typical rental u return the car they release the hold well not them 3 weeks they hold your deposit and I have attempted to call them 3 times as soon as you get to be caller 9 after 1 1/2 hr hold it hangs up THIS PLACE SUCKS
The rental process is slow and takes a long time. By the time I got to the counter I ready to scream but Tina disarmed me and made the rest of the experience ok. The car rode good and performed as expected. Add extra time when renting from them and hopefully you have a Tina to help you because you will be pissed. The overall experience was ok.
It took 4 hrs to get to their location because all they had was 1 pickup driver from the airport. They will falsely charge your card for unauthorized fees and rental insurance. Don't rent from them or Expedia. They are scammers and their customer service agents are rude and slow. Worst car rental company.
I booked a rental car through Expedia found out this was not located in the airport of Houston. It was located at a hotel offsite. We had someone with us that was in a wheelchair. They provided a shuttle that was not handicap accessible. Me and my husband had to split up. I went to get the car had a problem because the reservation was in his name. They charged me more money now for a second driver, because he was not there to pick up the car. Then they asked me for a declaration page from the insurance company, which we do not travel with and did not have with us so then they charge the extra fee for that, this took a total of three hours from beginning to end as my husband and son at the airport outside, waiting for me to return to pick them up after three hours. This was a total nightmare. I was very unhappy and unsatisfied Customer.
There are many reviews for Easirent, I came prepared and had a wonderful experience.
The 5002 Cypress St location in Tampa, FL is about a 6 minute car ride, note that there is a shuttle to the car rental lot, if ordering from Priceline, all the information about how to get onto the shuttle is listed from within the airport using the sky train...I took an Uber due to the actual time of day, Easirent is open until 10pm eastern.
When I arrived at the vehicle pick up location, 5002 Cypress St, in Tampa FL, I was greeted by David, who was absolutely accommodating, super nice and friendly. Both he and his manager stayed late to accommodate me and others who arrived near closing, however they stayed late to assist those already on site, I arrived 2 minutes before closing (9:58pm they close at 10pm)
Note that if your flight lands close to or after 930pm eastern, suggestion is to catch an Uber/taxi/app ride or other over to this car rental location (due to airport train and time frame). If catching your own ride, follow signs to baggage claim, and pick up your uber/taxi or other outside the baggage claim, it took about 6 minutes at that time of night.
Note, that it's near impossible to catch an UBER/Taxi or other once at the rental location pickup spot (might be due to the location within the airport itself), plan on using the shuttle to get back to the airport upon dropping off your car, which runs every 25-30 minutes.
Please have a copy of your auto insurance declaration page or a copy of your auto insurance on hand when picking up the vehicle, as upon dropping the vehicle off, you can be charged for not having proof of insurance.
Getting back to David, thank you for staying past closing to accommodate others and myself, and thank you for being super helpful, kind, and knowledgable.
David, keeping your skills up will be the face of great reviews for this company, please consider being a trainer for others in the industry.
With so much appreciation and thanks - A
If I can give zero I would bad service, I got charged for having them shuttle me from the airport to the rental place. Plus I had my own insurance but was still charged 20.00 a day for liability insurance. They may be cheaper but watch out for the hidden fee's not worth it. Better to just get a car straight from the airport.
CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION! THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS! THEY CANCELLED OUR ORIGINAL RESERVATION WITH PRICELINE AND SAID THEY HAD A BETTER DEAL. THEY OFFERED A RIDICULAS AMOUNT WITH ADDITIONAL FEES AND WHEN WE DID'NT FALL FOR IT THEY GOT SOMEONE ELSE ON THE PHONE FROM A DIFFERENT LOCATION TRYING TO PULL US INTO ANOTHER DOLLAR AMOUNT.
I had reservations for 2 cars in Orlando (for a total of 16 passengers) that were made thru Expedia/AARP Travel. Our flight was delayed and when I called the number for the shuttle pickup, I received a message they were CLOSED. My confirmed reservations did not indicate their hours of operation and since they accepted a late night reservation, I expected they were open late. Apparently, this is not the case. When I called the next morning to arrange to pick up the cars, I was told that since we were a "no show" the prepaid reservations had been cancelled, with no refunds available. This is not right! AARP is not able to assist with this situation. When I called Easirent they continually transfer me to a voice mail that is too full to accept any more messages. What a SCAM business. NEVER do business with this company. I have reached out to my credit card company since no services were provided.
DO NOT USE - These are the most dishonest, fraudulent and incompetent car hire company that I have ever come across. They have lots of hidden charges and force you to pay extras as their systems do not allow you to pay deposits. When you get through to their "helpline" their managers are rude, deceitful and end calls when their lies are exposed. DO NOT USE.
I rented from easirent in Houston TX. They did not advise that I had to call them for airport pickup (I waited until someone else assisted). Finally on 3rd attempt, I was provided with a rental that had front end damage. The male rep indicated with a circle on rental doc (had problems with the female). The day after I returned vehicle with same male rep - no conversation about front end damage that was indicated at time of rental, I was contacted by 3rd party about noted damage. The provided pics (by easirent) show image of the unprofessional "ghetto"?ayisha-the female? Who I refused to deal with further during rental (guess she is getting me). Needless to say, 3rd party also unprofessional. Now, just short of 30 days, I have not heard anything further from them - NOT EVEN an I am sorry. So, now i must reach out. This company is not worth your time or money. Another thing I did not like, you do not walk out with paper work...it comes in an email sometime later - bad business!
Don't trust this easirent they are scammer, they Literally rush me out of the place talking about they were supposed to close at 10 and they re here because my flight was d
Elayed so there was supposed to refund me back some of my money and they refused to do it, And because they don't I'm not from there i cant just buy a ticket, they won't answer my email.
One person told me that my refund will be in my card 5 to 7 days then someone else can tell me that they won't give me a refund because I return the car before time They are all liars and scammers don't trust them. I had an emergency and I'd to cut my vacation short. Don't rent any car from EASIRENT IN ORLANDO Florida
We reserved a car from the Fort Lauderdale airport and while standing in their office with 5 of us and luggage they said they have no cars and Don't have a clue as to why. Suggested we shuttle back to the airport to find something. What a joke this company is
This place is a rip off. They overcharge for the deposit, that they don't tell you you do not get back. I have called for two days in a row the counter and no one has answered. Ever. My calls are being disconnected on their end. And the exact same thing with the corporate. I've called corporate four times now and each time tells me what place I am in line to be answered and then when it gets to what's supposed to be my turn it rings and rings and rings and then is disconnected. This place is not legit at all
Easirent cancelled my prepaid car before my confirmed flight arrival. What a scam! Worst ever. Avoid!
Answer: To whom it may concern, This is the complaint letter I sent to those whom I thought could help my wife and I solve an issue that we found to be Very troubling. It involved an employee at the Jacksonville Easienrt, specifically the manager named Franky. Priceline Booking Number 202-281-644-38 Easirent Reference Number 1863754 Easirent Wally Park, Jacksonville, FL airport We went to pick-up our rental on February 15th, 2020 and had all the information we were told to bring (credit card, drivers license). The young man, Franky waiting on us, informed us we needed proof of our auto insurance which we did not bring because we were not asked to bring it. When we challenged that he informed us that local rules can require them to ask for proof of insurance. We have Erie Insurance and at this time on a Saturday they are closed and not open on Sunday. The manager, Franky, said we couldn't have the car without proof of insurance. We told him we would call and give them that information on Monday and he said ok. Then he blindsided us about the in-kind coverage on our credit card which we thought we had but would check with Bank America, his response made us feel threatened and also taken advantage of. Again, none of this was mentioned on any of the documents. It was hard to understand Franky at times which only made the situation worse so my wife took over. Once again, we were told we couldn't take the car without the proof of insurance, which also was never mentioned on the paperwork. My wife explained we would call them on Monday with the information so the charges that we paid extra for, would be taken off once that information was given Franky and that would be ok. We signed off and waited for the car, which was not what we asked for. It looked like the worst one on the lot and the windows were very dirty and very hard to see out of the windows because of the stickers on the side window. On Monday, as promised., we called Erie to get the information for our insurance and also Visa to make sure we had the in-kind benefit. Both of these services were to be taken off our bill once the information was suppled. Called 1-888-901-5121 on Monday the 17th twice, once busy and 2nd time hung up on after we told them we were calling with the information they needed. Called again Tuesday the 18th and kept getting busy signals. Not only was this a terrible experience initially, but customer service once they knew why we called, decided to hang up and not answer the phone after they saw the number. Thankfully, the return went smoothly and very glad the person who waited on us was helpful. The rep at the desk upon return, Dasha, informed us that all she has to do is ask for proof, if not available then it would have been accepted, that being two adults in there 70's would have insurance.
Answer: I want someone on the phone from Easirent to explain to me why they aren't the fraud they clearly are...
Answer: They tried to charge me an extra £120 on arrival to upgrade as they'd run out of cars of the booked class. Argued and argued but they only threatened to call the police to remove me from their office. Had to pay £55 for a taxi and wasted an hour and a half.
Answer: Depends on the size but i was about £27 each for just a 2 day car hire. And i had to fit them both myself! What a company.
