Hi I got my dress yesterdayt not suitable for my daughter's wedding in the Caribbean as dress to stiff and heavy been emailing customer services about returning the dress with no satisfaction can you help me

My dress arrived and to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. The cut, sewing and fit is very very poor. There are threads hanging they have tried to hide the bad cut of the fabric by stitching it multiple times it really is unwearable. Please DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY you WILL be very unsatisfied.
For those of you who have bought a product that is not as described- contact your bank. If you paid with a credit card they will refund it for you. It's a bit more difficult if you paid with a debit card but still contact your bank as they can definitely help you. It is against the law to sell a product that is not as described and it is also against the law to not accept returns with no reason.
I bought a wedding dress from the site. It was very delayed which was not what I expected as they promised a shipping of 4-6 days only!
I paid an extra £25 for the postage and a few days later paid another £4. They did not inform me about the postage delay and the extra money I had to pay.
The customer service is very rude and do not take any responsibility.
Upon receiving the dress, it was nothing like what I bought. The colour is different and the design of the beadings are different to what is presented on the website.
I contacted them again and got nothing but an email saying: I suggest you keep the dress!
I am very disappointed by their customer service as they are not honest and they are not professional. They do not pay any respect to their customer and very much falsely advertise their products.
Does anyone know how I can get a full refund (about £200) and if they know any companies that can help me with this. I might also contact a solicitor to deal with the matter and hope he will bring an end to the disappointments.
Ordered a dress online. The site showed me a lovely light gold colour, when the item arrives it's rose gold verging on pink.
I emailed the company and they told me that it is the same colour it's just my lighting. I can tell you it is not the same colour in any shape or form.
I got no joy from the customer services saying they wouldn't let me return it as it's not a valid reason. To say the customer services were rude and unprofessional is an understatement.
I didn't order a custom size so there is no real reason to not allow me to return it seen as they have sent me a dress not as described.

It would be hard to award Dylan Queen one star. Perhaps for actually sending dresses? I spent circa £400 whilst abroad on a dress for my registry office wedding and two ball gowns. On arrival 3 months after the order, having not opened the packaged, i tried them all on and they are far too big. As my wedding day nears i have no alternative but to get them altered, locally, so things are done in time. I live in the U. K. None of the dresses are altered yet, they are however pinned so Dylan Queen can see the huge difference in what i ordered and what i actually received. I have just received a very blunt email from a 'Sharon' at Dylan Queen service saying as I have already altered the dresses (which i haven't), merely made arrangements, they will do nothing about it.
DO NOT spend your money with this company, it will cost you twice as much to remedy.

I purchased a prom dress for my daughter back in March, after a delay in delivery I tried to cancel my order to no avail. Once it arrived it looked nothing like the picture. There were faults in the flower details, sequins in the wrong places. Also my daughter dos not like it due to it being completely different from the photo. Numerous emails were sent along with close up photos. It was agreed they would refund 20% of the dress price ( not incl delivery) £16 in total. Four months later & I have yet to receive anything! I have emailed again which seems to be falling on deaf ears! I only wish I had seen these comments before I made the purchase. A warning to anyone else DO NOT BUY from this company, they will rip you off with cheap tacky dresses that are certainly not made to order! Mrs Mills

I purchased a prom dress for my daughter online from this company. The dress was tailored (as I provided actual measurements) and as it was a rush order I paid an additional premium rate plus p&p. When the dress arrived it looked nothing like the one on the website. Detail beading which was suppose to be on the dress was replaced by a satin sash which was tacked on with three stitches. The dress also did not fit (way too big). I emailed customer service and got a prompt response asking me to find a local tailor to fix the dress (at cost to me). I sent pictures of the dress with my daughter wearing it and close ups of the cheap statin sash tacked on. I asked for a refund in numerous emails but to no avail. Just like the previous review I mistakingly thought the company was based in the UK. Still threats of legal action did nothing. They have my hard earned money and I'm stuck with a dress my daughter hates (and never wore to her prom). PLEASE DONT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. If you do and have a problem with the item THERE IS NO REDRESS AND NO ONE AT DYLAN CARES!

Hi Folks, Just an update to my other posts to let you all know to do the same as myself. I got in touch with my bank as I paid for the ''dress'' by Visa Debit. I sent everything to them every email from DylanQueen.co.uk also the email I received from the Chinese Consumer Council who couldn't help, but my bank fought my corner and I am now in receipt of the full amount I paid, I honestly took a shot in the dark that paid off... I could've accepted the 20% refund that was offered but refused each time... Please don't take the defeatist attitude fight tooth and nail dont let them win!... I must say i was very dissapointed to receive my dress this morning. It looks nothing with the picture they advertise on their website. The picture is very misleading because clearly it looks nothing with what i received. The jewels on the picture look equally placed on the dress to balance the colours. What i have here looks like a magicians assistant. Its a clash of loooooooooads of pink emeralds. Again nothing like the picture. Its a poor quality of work like somebody gave children a box of pink emeralds to stick on the chest section. No colour balance AT ALL! I feel cheated, misleaded i feel robbed of my money because its clearly not a professional job. If its your policy not to give refunds because i just dont like it i have to say this is not the case. This is a case of not receiving what i paid for. I want my money back i have no time for fixing the dress anymore or start anything from scratch. This is malpractice and i am deeply dissapointed as i was very eager to receive the dress.
I also truly thing these kind of website should be legally banned. Its a shame ther is no pther organization to claim your money back.
We ordered a prom dress in dark green and fine lace for a prom. The dress we recieved was lime green and lace fit for a great grandmother. Having sent a photo of the dress and one from the brochure was told it was correct. Was advised I could get a 100% refund if I returned the dress after 3 weeks of emailing and advised hat I would not spend another £40 postage unless they refund first. Their final offer after 5 weeks of emailing was 15% of the dress price so £15 v the £105 spent. Finally gave up, wrote it off and binned the dress as all my grandparents are now dead so have no use for it.

My daughter ordered a prom dress and when it arrived it was not what the description of the dress on their website said it was, the embellishment said it was a lace dress, my daughter got was a heavily beaded dress it was so heavy that it did not sit properly it was a very cheap looking chiffon skirt and was also stained with fabric glue, when I e-mailed them the answers i got were ridiculous like, "The dress looks fine" "The dress looks like the picture" I thought the answers were coming from children. I asked to speak with management but all i got was Roger and Cherry offering me 5% of the dress, I passed my dispute to mastercard and today my money was put back into my account. If anyone is thinking about a purchase just dont do it, you will end up with a massive problem.\its that simple believe me 3 months of headaches I had DONT DO IT
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT order from this poor excuse of a company. I ordered a dress using their sizing guide for my daughters wedding. The dress came but was not the correct size, it was poorly made, threads hanging out everywhere, sequins poorly sewn on, it could not pass for the dress advertised. I have complained and at first I was asked if I could just cut the threads off! Nevermind that the dress did not fit and was not the size stated. I like others on here got offered a partial refund stating that if I send the dress back it will likely be lost & then they wouldn't issue anything so best take the 5% or 15% offered! This company if a fraud, they are not to trusted! I have now put in a complaint to https://www.consumer.org.hk/cc-complaint/index.php?lang=en and I would advise others to do the same. I will also be looking to have Trading Standards shut down their site as they are advertising themselves as a UK company but not abiding by UK law! I am also thinking of complaining to the HKIAC - http://www.hkiac.org/en/arbitration/arbitration-rules-guidelines - As this is advertised as who they are regulated by. They are advertising dresses that belong to other companies which is Trading Standards and when the products arrive they are a poor and cheap copy. When you try to get your refund which they advertise a FULL REFUND they do not want to give it to you back they say they will only give you part. Also expect a bill from TNT for taxes from China. The whole set up is a rip off. They are very friendly with the names of Sandra, Cherry Roger and Kris when you are buying but once you want your money back it is a different story so far we have paid out over £120 in postage and are still fighting to get our £300 back which we paid out. A lot of the reviews about good things are what they have put on there themselves. They have a place in the UK in Wood Green but THEY do not accept any calls, post etc from us BE WARNED THIS COMPANY IS RIPPING THE PUBLIC OFF AND HOPEFULLY TRADING STANDARDS WILL INTERVENE.
This company is a scam, taking money and providing no product. Who would think they are entitled to keep your money and they never shipped a product? Only Dylan Queen. Just how much money are they making by stealing the hard earned money of their clients citing "make up as we go policies"? I ordered a dress for an anniversary and specified the date needed. Two weeks past the due date, no dress. I contacted Dylan who said they would issue a refund. Weeks later, no refund. Emailed again, said they would send a partial refund. Weeks later, I emailed again, they said I waited too long, they will not issue a refund... whattt? What a stall tacktic. This company should be forced to close its doors. They are unethical.

So sorry I didn't read these reviews first before ordering a dress. The dress arrived on the date stated and was the material and design I ordered but not a UK size 18. Have been told it is my fault and there is nothing I can do about this. Dress cost £79.99 delivery £25.00 and tax to be paid before delivery £3.50 Now I have a dress which doesn't fit. From what I can discover the dress has been made to US size 14. Totally unhappy with the company no customers service at all. Please don't make the same mistake as me and just DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

My aunt bought two dresses from this site & relieved an email telling her the order failed to go through. Got charged for the prices of the dresses. When emailing them they replied with something completely irrelevant back. Will definitely be taking this to watchdog as there is no way this is a viable company. Total scam!

I ordered my wedding dress of this site on Sunday but then I came across the reviews on here so I emailed dylan queen told them I wanted to cancel my order and have a refund I've had an email back telling me I can't cancel as they sent my dress out on the 26th which is 2 days before I even ordered it so don't see how that's possible without these giving me a refund I have no more money to get my wedding dress and I get married in 4 weeks so I'm going to be left with no dress to wear! I would avoid these at all costs
Granddaughter bought a prom dress they sent the wrong colour and the dress was awful. They have offered me 10% back which is an insult of a 125£ dress - still in conversations with them but I am about to contact watch dog and name and shame them

On May 23 2015, I order a prom dress from this company Dylanqueen and got something awful. The dress was not like the orginal.The company promise some sort of refund but never refunded my account. They are misleading. I contacted the company and voice my issues and they just that I find a real tailor to fix any imperfection on my dress. Dont buy from this company they are not what they seem.

Answer: Please save your money and shop elsewhere. These people are a complete rip off. My mother in law bought a dress for a wedding and the size was completely wrong ( even though she bought it based on the measurements and went up a size to be on the safe side) and they refused to return it. It was obvious that it was made poorly but they refused to return or exchange it. The dress was also very cheap looking, nothing like the website. They're a complete fraud. I reported them and my mother in law filed a complaint with her credit card company to get her money back. Definitely do yourself a favor and stay away from these people.

Unfortunately this company are shit and probably not repair the dress, so my advise is go to your local dry cleaners they maybe able to put a new zip in for you.
