My 17 yr old daughter bought a dress for her formal When the dress arrived it was badly made clearly NOT what was pictured on DylanQueens website and faulty. Customer service is APPALING for the past week my daughter has been going back and forth trying to get a refund for the dress DylanQueen have admitted that the dress is faulty and STILL they will not give her a refund. I think they just delay and delay until you give up Well I will not give up and even if it costs me more in the long run I will get justice for my daughter who saved and used her own money to buy her first prom dress This was supposed to be a happy exciting time and it has turned into a nightmare because of a low rate company
Item was very poor quality - rips and stitching not even finished. Am trying to return item for refund but no refund address has been given, nor have they confirmed the refund. Response time as very slow. Do not buy from this company.
Ordered a dress which turned up the wrong colour and size. They have refused in one badly worded sentence to do anything to correct the problem.
Don't buy from these people, I am currently in dispute over a dress delivered made of the wrong material and the wrong colour which they have tried to make out is my fault!
The last email I received this morning was " thanks for mail but no full refund"
Just the worst customer service!
Since I posted this review they have offered an insulting 5% refund! As this implies they have some liability for a refund I am holding out for more, however I have heard nothing for five days so I'm not holding my breath!
I ordered a dress for my sons wedding and although everything in my wardrobe is a size 16 according to Dylan Queen my measurements are wrong. This despite the fact that I have sent them photographic proof that the bust id a size 33"
This was one of their replies after refusing to send me a return address
"Sorry, since it is international transaction, we invested time, labor, fabric into your dress and paid for high international delivery fee, so, we can not fully refund you, besides, if you send it back, we have to pay for the inevitable custom fee, all in all, we hope you can keep the dress and accept our compensation fee 12% dress price"
You can imagine how pleased I was with not only being offered a pathetic 12% but also that fact that think I might be concerned about the customs fee.
My dress is now with a tailor said (and I quote) you have a lot of problems with this dress
And it is costing me just about half of the original cost to get it to fit me
I ordered a wedding dress from Dylan Queen 4 weeks ago now. I received my dress 2 weeks ago and proceeded to try it on. However, the dress could not even do up! I am a UK size 12 so I ordered a UK size 14 standard size and I DID NOT measure myself to my exact measurements. However I did measure myself before I chose that size. My measurements are those of a size 12 wedding dress so I went for the 14 to be sure.
I also bought another dress a few weeks prior to that from another size and bought the same size which had the same measurements. That dress was slightly too big so I would have room to get it altered, however I didn't think it suited me which is why I ordered another dress from Dylan Queen.
Another thing was when I took the dress out of the bag it arrived in there is a huge stain on the bottom of the dress. Sort of like a tea stain (that on a white dress is not a good look!). Also the stitching was already coming out!
After all this I emailed them and said I wasn't happy as it was stained, the measurements were completely wrong and the stitching was coming out so I wanted to return for a full refund as the dress to me was damaged. They replied and said there was no measurement error, the dress was in perfect condition so they would not accept a return or give me a refund.
I then proceeded to email them back (I'm still emailing them now 10 days later!) And say how their policy states damaged dresses can be returned for a full refund etc. They just keep emailing me back and saying I have to go and get the stain removed myself, I mean what's the point when it doesn't even fit?! On other occasions someone has emailed me back and said if I was to return I'd have to pay the most expensive return option and I'd be liable to pay for the missing dress as they apparently usually go 'missing in the post'.
Since then they have been telling me there are no problems and I cannot return. I've told them I would contact trading standards and they don't seem phased by that at all.
These are scampers and DO NOT accept returns no matter what your circumstances! Do not buy! £160 wasted on a piece of s**t!

I ordered a dress which I had made to measure. I measured myself to the instructions three times to be sure before placing my order. As you can guess all the measurements were wrong! I contacted costumer service asking if this can be amended to fit properly, they were rude from the start straight away said no, I obviously emailed back as its there fault not my own they sent me a measuring guide which I had already used off there website and still said no. Not only this I had not one person email back but 7 different people all different names all beating around the Bush with answers on what they would do. Some messaged back the same day I was also having emails at 2am from some of them in the end they didn't respond at all. I gave up I have contacted trading standards if there was any lower than 1 I would mark them down more. No one should order from this company!
My Female friend bought a dress for her daughters wedding, when it arrived it is nothing like what is advertised, the material is of very poor quality and it is not to the measurements given,
The stitching is poor with threads hanging down and not finished correctly.
As like everyone else's comments they will not refund in full and only offer a small amount of cost in return, they also tell you it will cost you a lot of money to return the goods.
IF YOU PAID BY CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD GO TO YOUR BANK AND ASK THEM TO HELP GET YOU A REFUND. This is the only way you will get your money back.
My wife bought a dress off this company, and when it arrived it was not the size advised and of very poor quality with treads hanging off every where and a rip. When we asked to return the dress and get a full refund all we got was very rude e mails saying why did we buy the dress from them and offering 5% refund. We have since had more rude e mails and no offer of a full refund. My wife bought this dress to go to a wedding so we need the refund, £100, to buy another dress in time for the wedding next week. I would say don't use this company, very poor service and rude and unprofessional.
Anyone buying from this site, it's best you know that what you see is not what you get.
I've bought two dresses from this site and they are both extremely disappointing. They take a £10 extra charge to get your right measurements but still they get it extremely wrong very huge with very poor material.
Also you might have to pay import duty, when they say that the price is all inclusive of taxes, please note import duty isn't.

The dress I ordered arrived very quickly, however, it was the wrong colour. I contacted Dylan Queen and was told that the style was correct so basically tough. You cannot return without their approval, I guess if you do you will have to carry the cost of the return postage and you would probably not get a refund for the dress.
The dress I received was made from very cheap material. The pictures that they show must be touched up or the models must have clips in the back or something, There is no way that the dress I purchased could look as good as it does on their website. It is a complete con.

The reply I have recieved from Dylanqueen to my first review about their disgusting company is also false. They are claiming to try and resolve my situation but again this will no doubt be a pack of lies, as I have tried endlessly to fix this. Believe nothing!

First of all... they screen their reviews! You cannot post an honest review unless the review is good! Otherwise it's not approved and they don't post it!
We order two dresses and spent so much money! We asked for specific measurements! And confirmed the colours!
Well of course they didn't follow the measurements... the colours are WAY off! And one of the dresses came unfinished with a HOLE!
So we're trying to get a partial refund back and they're offering a measly 10%! 10% doesn't even begin to cover the extra expenses to fix their mistakes!
They write you back crying that they spend lots of money on labour, freight, fabric, etc. IT'S CALLED RUNNING A BUSINESS. And those are the costs.
I'm DISGUSTED!

The dresses are NOT made to measure and you will be hit by import duties a couple of weeks after your dress arrives. The customer service is non existent and getting any kind of refund would be a miracle. I repeat do NOT order from this company, I know it's cheap but it's cheap for a reason.
I have recently bought two dresses off Dylanqueen website and i am unhappy with how they have arrived. The colors are not suited to what i want and the design is not the same as what i ordered on the website. The detail is cheap and material is horrible. The sewing is just unfinished and the jewels are even falling off and sewn on face down. I have been going back and forth to their customer service and they will not honour my website. Bareing in mind i checked if i was entitled to a refund if the dresses weren't suitable previous to even making the order as i was aware i was ordering off the internet and wanted to double check. Their customer service has been disgusting and they will not take responsibility and have even told me to take the dresses to a local dressmaker for them to sort the issue... how awful is that?! I don't even want to give it any stars as a whole the experience has been terrible! The dresses were for my bridesmaids and they have just ruined my whole wedding experience as the dresses weren't cheap and i am now out of pocket, i am really hurt and upset over this and feel distraught!

Not sure if this company is associated with the dylanqueen.com but my experience was horrible! They do not care about their customers not sure if they are even legit! If your dress doesn't fit you will get ripped off stay away
This is the worse company I have ever dealt with! They shipped a defective dress that was not true to size and after asking for picture of "proof" that it didn't fit and my measurements they went back and forth via email making excuses to not issue a return. I will be contacting my credit card company tomorrow to make a complaint in hopes of getting my money back since they refuse to return the dress. So yourself and favor and do not buy anything from this website. It is a scam!

I have ordered a dress from this website and its unsuitable and poor quality.it does not fit properly and they are refusing to refund me or allow me to return it can somebody please let me know if they are having similar problems I've purchased lots of items online but never had a bad experience when it came to returning it. I ordered a dress from Dylan Queen, but the dress was very stiff and it didn't fit. When I tried to return the dress and get a refund, their customer service told that they can only give me 8% refund. I refused to take an 8% refund. I'm going to fight them until I get a full refund,

Answer: Stay away from these scammers the dresses are atrocious
Answer: Please save your money and shop elsewhere. These people are a complete rip off. My mother in law bought a dress for a wedding and the size was completely wrong ( even though she bought it based on the measurements and went up a size to be on the safe side) and they refused to return it. It was obvious that it was made poorly but they refused to return or exchange it. The dress was also very cheap looking, nothing like the website. They're a complete fraud. I reported them and my mother in law filed a complaint with her credit card company to get her money back. Definitely do yourself a favor and stay away from these people.

Here's what's really insulting, they offered a discount if I brought another dress. Really, after not refunding my money from the first order.
