I ordered two dresses for my own wedding in a UK size 16. When they arrived there was absolutely no chance of them fitting! My Mum (a UK size 14) can't even get them done up or anywhere close with at least 3 inches of gap but of course you need a returns authority to be able to send them back which means providing not only your hip bust and waist sizes (and evidence!) but also photos of the dresses when on - yeah right - like I could get them on without breaking them! So I sent photos of my mum in the dresses with the gaping back and still no returns authority has been forthcoming! I am continuing my fight. Quite frankly though people, be warned!
The sizing was no where near. When you contact them they are unhelpful and unwilling to exchange or refund.

I purchased 3 gorgeous dresses well they looked gorgeous in the pictures. When they arrived they were squeezed into this tiny parcel bag.
When looking at the dresses the material was so poor and the fit was even worse. I purchased size 8 dresses which are normally a perfect fit. These outfits where super loose on the hips and thighs (i have a curvy figure so i'm hippy). All 3 were the same and they were also super long. I did consider having them tailored here but having them chopped off from the bottom would have ruined the style of the dresses so that wasnt an option. It does state on their site if you are not happy with the items you will be given a refund. So i packed the items and spend £75 having the delivered back to China. I wasnt even aware that the company was based in China as they have a. co.uk site.
I posted them to the sender address details which was on the original package i received. I sent an email to the company stating that i have returned the items etc i was told that i would not get a refund as this was not authroised and that the address i sent them to is incorrect. So whos address are they using on the senders details. This is of great concern why arent they being honest and using their own address. What is the grounds of return approval? Im not happy with the quality of the items and the fit is all wrong. So now i am out of pocket £350 for the dresses and £75 on the delivery charges.
In the UK we have amazing companies that sell amazing dresses. This company is not UK based although they use a. co.uk address. So please do not purchase from this site lets try our best to ensure this company does not ever trade in the UK again

Please do not order off this site I ordered my wedding dress which was fantastic in the picture. I ordered a white off the shoulder beautiful lace dress. However what came was like something they would use in a pantomime. It was gold full of glitter and sequins and full of blue pink and yellow diamonds and some crap hanging around the bottom. I had a feeling after reading on site jabber it was going to awful but not this bad. I had contacted my bank and cancelled the order last week. However soon as they knew I was cancelling it they started to track it with dhl. Now it has been delivered the bank have to honor the payment. I have again contacted the bank who now say they can still go ahead if I can return it and track it myself to Singapore as it was wrong item received which is not right. The only problem I have now is I can't get the damned returns address. As they sent it via a company called DOLCE2DOLCE. THIS SITE IS DEFINITELY A SCAM!

Ordered a dress from this company two years to attend a wedding ( actually I was the Maid of Honor)... very faulty dress... tried contacting them which was also a hassle and never received a refund in the end.
I ordered a lovely looking dress from Dylan Queen for my son's wedding. It is listed as a UK based company... It is not. The dress should have been made to measure I could pull it down without unzipping it. It had a pin sewn in the dress. The chest area was uneven greatly, this is due to the fact the bone was sewn in twisted and the cup sizes were different. The ruffles were uneven and some were up the wrong way. The beaded flowers had gaps and look a mess. The jacket was stitched so badly and puckered looking and was tight on one sleeve. The collar was hugely uneven. The cuffs were flimsy and the weight of the beads pulled them down. The fabric was cheap looking. There is no way I would wear this dress. They saw my photos and disagreed with me and refused to refund me. I sent firm but polite messages. They offered me a 5% refund only and in their words whether I wear it or not that is all they will do. I explained it was for my son's wedding and my husband did not work for 5 months due to having a heart attack which led to a triple heart bypass so money is tight but they don't care at all. I feel disappointed, let down and stupid for falling for this company. Under no circumstances will I ever use them again. Thanks for listening to my rant.
I received a dress that is actually dangerous to wear never mind the dreadful quality and can not get hold of this company to return the dangerous item... PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SCAM OPERATION!

Order No. D**************. Most disappointed in the quality of the workmanship and the packaging my dress and coat arrived in. The dress has a lacy finish and all the embroidery work threads are coming undone. As I need this for my daughters wedding I do not have time to return it so have spent the last 2 days with a fine needle and had to finish off the work myself. Also the fine coat which accompanies the dress was also poorly finished and I had to snip off all the loose threads. It was delivered in a very tiny package which means I am going to have to iron a very fine material. Hope I can mange this without burning it as the chiffon will easily melt. No I will not buy from DylanQueen again

I ordered a dress and paid extra £30 (promised delivery in 3-5 days) for delivery as needed dress within 8 days it never came but has turned up quality is horrendous all my complaints are being ignored basically wasted £125 on dress that looks like from cheap shop qualify better in primary I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A DISGRACE

Hi,
I was just informed that my dress is already at the customs office. I am waiting for the release but I have to provide simple information such as FABRIC of the dress I bought fron DYLAN QUEEN. And... I cannot get it fron the customer service!
Somebody called Sandra answered that the dress is made of CHIFFON (!) which is only type of woving not the type of fabric.
I wrote a couple of emails and today I got the answer:
"Does that matter with the release. Sandra"
What purpose do thay have with NOT helping their customers?
I hope to see the dress soon although I 'm now very worried about its quality!
I saw Angela m's dress which was definitely not gold. This was the most YELLOW dress I have ever seen. It was also the worst quality dress. Makes primark look like Armani. Need I say more. Do not waste your money.

I purchased a dress in gold, when it arrived it was yellow, I have never seen a dress that had been made so badly and nothing like the picture shown. There were threads hanging out everywhere and there was a metre of extra material in the length... I contacted customer services who asked for photos. These clearly showed the colour was yellow. They are saying that bright yellow is gold and will not answer my complaint on the quality or length. They are a dreadful company to deal with and I wish I had read the reviews on other sites that are all similar to mine and have all lost their money. I urge you to not waste your money as the only thing this dress is fit for is the theatre for a costume for the production of Cinderella (as one of the ugly sisters) which I will donate it too!
Excellent service - I highly recommend them. They were very easy to deal with, professional, prompt, and I felt like they truly cared. The staffs are very helpful and loyal. I never thought working with such a fantastic company would be so painless.
I have tried for two weeks to find out how to return a dress I purchased from Dylan Queen and have not been able to get information. The dress is poor quality and does not even come close to looking like what they advertise. I would highly suggest never to buy from them.

The quality on the website that is presented isn't the dress you end up receiving. Material is so cheap, my sisters couldn't believe the dress I receive and the picture I showed them before I ordered. I wanted the dress for my sisters wedding, I wanted something unique and different. Instead I received a shock to my sister dress. Nothing as advertised on the website, the dress I ordered was far from it. To top it up they refused to give my money back, I was happy to send back the dress. I never write reviews, but I don't want anyone to feel like this. I didn't get £140 back. Customer was so horrible they offered me £5 back. Just unbelievable. I STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE NOT TO USE THIS WEBSITE.
I ordered my prom dress from here for it to turn up looking nothing like the dress on the picture, or the colour I wanted and far too big, my friends dress was the same so we both had to get it altered which costed us even more!
I have never ever seen a dress come in packaging with all the beads hanging off like I did with my prom dress and not only that I ordered a size 8 and it came way too big and my mum could even fit into it and she is a size 12/14. Never ever buy from this website.
Dresses that look gorgeous and everygirls dream but are cheap rubbish, poorly made and look nothing like what you order and will cost you at least £200 with the shipping and customs costs. They will ruin whatever you had planned as you may as well throw the dress away and burn your money as you will never get your money back. The dresses will not fit you whatever size you order as they look like they were stitched together by God knows what or who and they definitely never used a pattern of any kind as seems and hems are all over the place. It ruined the whole build up to a wedding we were attending and we had to spend the same money again to find another dress with a UK company. Stay well away whatever age or size you are!

My mother in law bought a dress for a wedding and the size was completely wrong ( even though she bought it based on the measurements and went up a size to be on the safe side) and they refused to return it. It was obvious that it was made poorly but they refused to return or exchange it. The dress was also very cheap looking, nothing like the website. They're a complete fraud. I reported them and my mother in law filed a complaint with her credit card company to get her money back. Definitely do yourself a favor and stay away from these people.

Here's what's really insulting, they offered a discount if I brought another dress. Really, after not refunding my money from the first order. Unfortunately this company are shit and probably not repair the dress, so my advise is go to your local dry cleaners they maybe able to put a new zip in for you.
