I've engaged with the online chat service to find out more about a particular dress and the material used. They didn't know what my dress looked like at the back... how are they going to make it then...? And when asked about the type of chiffon, they just kept talking about colour charts and how 'beautiful and soft' it was but unable to provide the actual make of the chiffon used. Coupled with the true english sounding reviews on this site, I decided to stay away and spend a decent amount on a proper dress maker.
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE... The dress I ordered was nothing like the picture shown, the stitching was terrible, the dress itself un-level and the material of poor quality. When I contacted "Sandra" on their live chat I asked if she could help me return the dress and to issue an refund and was basically told "NO". I looked at the cost to send the dress back to CHINA (not UK) and it was £85.97... I had already paid £106.97 and the dress itself wasn't worth anywhere near this amount. I was willing to negotiate returning the dress etc. as per their terms and conditions that clearly state that if a dress is defective it can be returned but "Sandra" ignored my questions and requests. I have used internet shopping for many years and this is by far the worst form of customer service I have ever experienced... DO NOT order anything from this site... you will be out of pocket!
Absolutely atrocious, I have never been more disappointed in my entire life. It's pointless having the dress "made to measure" as the dress will still come atleast two sizes bigger and that is if it comes at all. Initially they respond to your emails and then once they realise that your demands are clear and that the appalling standard to which the dresses have been made have been noticed by yourself they then stop responding. If you decide to order from them that is entirely upto you but do me a favour and yourself justice first by sending them an email and just look at the quality of the response, the grammar (or lack of) and the punctuation (definite lack of). Consider if their responses are in broken English, unprofessional, and defy the laws of basic letter/email writing (taught in primary school) please just imagine their attention to detail ( or lack of).
I ordered my dress on Jan 26th with expedited delivery (3-6 days) and still have not gotten it. I have sent 3 emails inquiring and only got an initial response saying it had shipped. I have not received any further response from this company. After reading theses reviews, I am afraid of the dress quality and dealing with this company. I wonder if I will get it at all. Not sure what to do here but this company sounds shady and disreputable.
There are small bonuses from time to time. So, if you know what you want you can order on dylanqueen.co.uk without regret. I like the gifts i have obtained from this site and one dress that I bought for a gift I liked it on the model and it is beautiful to my eyes when it arrived at my home.
I ordered a dress on the website and the dress I have received is nothing like the dress I ordered, I need to return it and need an address for a full refund
I purchased this dress for my daughter's wedding, and it looked exactly as shown on the pics. I ordered a size bigger than usually but I guess I should have just gone with my regular one, great quality.
The dress is absolutely awful. I am going to return it for a refund. Total paid including delivery £106.00 for this mother of the bride dress. The jacket is sewn into the dress costing £15.98 extra and the v point at the waist is not central. The lower half of the dress does not lie smoothly and puckers up on the side seams and the front pulls up. It arrived with loads of cotton hanging all over that needed to be cut off. So very very disappointed. The quality control must be non existent as this garment should never have left the factory.

The experience I've had with Dylan Queen has been awful!
The picture was completely different to the picture the measurements are completely different the dress was inside out in the bag and creased. I payed £25 to have it delivered in 3-6 and received it 2 weeks later. Please do not waste your money. I am now spending more money on a dress I no longer like by having it altered to my size.
I've bought a dress off this website, it looked beautiful on the website, it cost £90 plus £30 to post to me. It came fast which I was happy with. However when I got my dress and it looked nothing like the picture, I've emailed them back and waiting for a reply... it costs me £60 to send my dress back so I would only get a £30 refund as I spent most of the money to send it back! Do not buy from this website!
I was interested in ordering a dress for my daughter's prom, (an important day in every young teenagers life), however, after reading the reviews I will stay away. I have noticed that the negative feedbacks have relatively good english and spelling, whereas the positive feedbacks have poor english and spelling. I believe that the positive feedbacks are infact foreign fake inputs! These people should be ashamed of themselves.
I help my sister to buy a long white chiffon prom dress from the shop few days ago. I can only recommended this web shop. I am very satisfied with quick delivery, great and smooth communication and high quality of products. I really like the product that I purchased. It was fast and I was kept informed about the status of my order.
Dress arrived and found it would fit someone 7' tall so needs a lot of alteration. Luckily I sew and have time to do this so hung it up till after Christmas was over to find time to make the alterations. I was about to start them this week when I suddenly got a huge import duty bill for the dress. I have contacted Dylan Queen and am awaiting a reply. Unlikely to ever buy a dress from the again as I can make a much improved version myself and if they won't take it back I will be cutting it up before I even wear it.

I ordered a made to measure dress it came - how disappointed was I! Nothing like the picture different material looked like a sack didn't fit too big. Contacted Dylan Queen and I got no help at all they wouldn't tell me how to return it for a refund and are ignoring all my emails. I am claiming through Barclaycard now as I cannot get a response over £100.00 and disgusting service. Stay away.
My package arrived promptly. The dress was in perfect condition. The scale is simple to operate and comes in a neat. Thank you for this special service and a good selection of types of clothes and I hope more and more discounts.

Very poor quality and ill-fitting dress. Looked nothing like my dress in the photograph on their website. The workmanship is very poor quality. I hang better curtains on my patio doors. Customer service is disgusting! When enquiring about returning the dress I was told to get someone to sort the dress and the Company would offer me a 10% refund. I was told when ordering with "Sandra" that I could return my purchase as long as I quoted her name. WORDS OF WARNING - DO NOT USE DYLANQUEEN!
I am trying recover through my credit card after failing to get a satisfactory answer from them. Don't use them.
I received my dress in good time and it fitted me - that's all good.
However the bad part is awful! The dress was too short, the zip was poorly fitted(protrudes top and bottom), the hem wasn't sitting right, the middle layer of material was too big for the other two layers. I was so disappointed, I intended wearing it for my daughters wedding. After emailing Dylan Queen it was suggested going to a local tailor (not an option if you need 2 extra inches), then it was 10% concession.

I was very pleased with this site AND the dress! It even came in a week early and it was perfect for me to join my friend's wedding. I'm going to have to find another reason to wear it. I love it so much!

Answer: Please save your money and shop elsewhere. These people are a complete rip off. My mother in law bought a dress for a wedding and the size was completely wrong ( even though she bought it based on the measurements and went up a size to be on the safe side) and they refused to return it. It was obvious that it was made poorly but they refused to return or exchange it. The dress was also very cheap looking, nothing like the website. They're a complete fraud. I reported them and my mother in law filed a complaint with her credit card company to get her money back. Definitely do yourself a favor and stay away from these people.

Here's what's really insulting, they offered a discount if I brought another dress. Really, after not refunding my money from the first order. Unfortunately this company are shit and probably not repair the dress, so my advise is go to your local dry cleaners they maybe able to put a new zip in for you.
