We ordered two dresses - one was stained and not white but had a pinkish hue - not as advertised. The other dress was so badly made - way too big on chest, too tight around bottom. We are now pursuing this through our credit card company as the customer team are only offering us 10% refund. Please don't go anywhere near this company. We are so disappointed - we've got to get this company off the internet before they upset another bunch of teenagers looking for a dress for their prom/leavers' ball. Does anyone have any idea how we can do that?

My daughter ordered a prom dress which arrive on time, however the quality of the material is very poor, the stitching is bad, there were marks on the dress, the colour was slightly different and it does not fit!

I have contacted Dylan Queen regarding a refund and they have asked me to take photographs of the dress.

In the mean time, in addition to paying £25.00 shipping charge when purchasing the dress, we have also received a bill from TNT for an additional £25.00!

I will post again to advise the outcome, but beware of ordering a dress from this company as they are not UK based, as the website suggests.

I ordered what appeared to be a beautiful chiffon prom dress. When received it wasn't as the picture or description and was made of layers of cheap net.
When i have asked for details for how to return this i have been told to take to local tailor to get fixed. This would mean extra time money and effort when the dress needs complete remake to look as image. I have asked for refunds and details on how to return this as it won't be ready for my event which is soon with no response from dylan.
Do not use this website as i have spent around £150 including high delivery costs and shipping taxes!

I bought a dress for my daughter for her prom evening, it does not look like the dress on the web site, he material style and cut is flawed and we were simply quite dissatisfied with the fact that we will only be refunded for half and we have to pay the shipping!. It was clearly made in china as per the customs receipt.

I can understand if we just wanted to return the dress because we did not like it? In this case everything is wrong about it. It looks horrendous!

Very unhappy a real scam of a company

If I could give negative starts I would. DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They ruined my daughters dress took it to a tailor who asked if blind mice made it! Finally got the dress back to them after months of trying was agreed upon full refund if I agreed to stop calling THE BBB about them which for the records they have 1000s of complaints. Now they are not giving me a full refund not even half which doesn't even cover the shipping both ways. Horrible horrible horrible please beware.

This site is an absolute joke i wouldn't give it 1star! I ordered a custom sized chiffon floor length dress for my daughters prom.The only positive thing i can say is it arrived quickly, however it arrived inside out crumpled up in a small plastic bag not a good start.The dress is faulty in many ways: poor quality, fraying seams, doesn't hang correctly, uneven seams, uneven padding... i could go on! The dress also is too long, has a train and satin on the bodice with pleating that is coming apart.(not as described) I am finding it impossible to return this item, after contacting them and attaching photographs i received emails offering me 5% then 10% compensation off the price if i kept the dress and a warning that i would have to pay high shipping costs and taxes and that the dress may not reach them! This was accompanied by a long email (sob story) about all the people they have to pay! Like i can afford to loose £100. I was then offered a half refund but still have to pay return costs followed by another the following day offering just 20% their customer service is a absolute joke and they do not honor their faulty returns policy. I urge everyone to avoid this site at all costs. I am attempting to recover the costs through my credit card however as it is just under £100 and i have to provide an independent report regarding faults.As my experience seems to echo many others i very much doubt any of the positive reviews are true.

Their refund policy is a farce, it makes you have trust that they'll refund if necessary, truth is they will refuse to do so. My dress does not look like what is on the website at all. I paid £100 for this dress and it looks as if it's worth no more than £30, due to the cheap lace and lack of embroidery that was displayed on the website. My four-year-old sister has the same stones in her arts and crafts pack. There is no lace on the dress on the website, however the dress I received does. My shoulder measurements are incorrect from what I asked for. Now they refuse to pay full refund, normally you'd get full refund plus compensation.

As a result, I will be suing the company and taking the matter to Court, I will not stand for not receiving 100% refund.

I fell in love with a prom dress on Dylan Queen and really set my mind on it. I decided to email them before buying to get some reassurance as I had read some bad review, which they said ''no worries'' to. I unfortunately trusted them and brought the dress, which then added £25 for postage.

When the dress came I was pleased with it although looking a little different from the website it was still lovely. Sadly when I put the dress on it was too big so I would need to get the dress tailored which would obviously cost me more money on top of the £100. To top this off I received a letter from TNT saying I owned them £25 because of my dress.

I then emailed them expecting a refund for the dress being too big and also the postage issue to be resolved and was offered 5% of the dress price which works out to be £4!

More than anything I was upset that a website selling prom dresses to students ages 16-18 was conning people. £100 is a lot of money when you only have a part time job, this website has really made me lose my faith in online shopping. A disgrace.

Please, please do not buy from this website, you will be scammed and left upset and without what you originally wanted.

I bought I dress from this company, does not look like the picture and it is two sizes too big, emailed few times and this are the answers: "Could you send some pictures to us? We need to make record so that we will not make the same mistake and deal with your problem properly. Would you mind we talk further about your problem after we receive your pictures? Feel easy, please. We will give you a satisfactory answer.

So I have sent an email telling them that I wanted a good enough explanation but not reason, I received a letter for me to pay £25 taxes apart from the money I paid to get delivered from TNT. This is a total scam I will complain to watch dog and wherever I can to make this company stop from scaming customers. What a disgraced!

If I had known what I know now I wouldn't have purchased from this website.
They answer in the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL matter "u" instead of "you" making a mockery of an email that did not have to turn into a COMPLAINT if they had just dealt with it accordingly.

SHARE so no one else gets ripped off, learn from my mistake - 1st time customer.

The dress which arrived looked nothing like the picture. The fabric was different, there were awful dimontes randomly stuck on and the finish was so bad that the padding is visible when the dress is on.

They will not give me a refund unless I pay to return the dress. The customer service team was so bad that halfway through the email chain, they started the case again as if we hadn't already had a coversation.

Awful, cheap rip offs - don't buy!

Ordered a dress which arrived and although is suitable is of poor quality. When you process order, if you select that you don't want speedy delivery it only shows the price of the dress on the order when you submit, however, they add the delivery cost when they take the payment from your card! On top of this, I have just received an import tax invoice for a further £25! In total the dress will have cost £130 but is worth not even half of that! I will take my complaint to court if necessary. Disgusted! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

The dresses I ordered on this website look absoloutely nothing like the pictures on the website. The dresses arrived and looked disgusting. Ontop of this it is impossible to return items. No refunds will be given so don't bother trying. None of my negative reviews have ever appeared on the website. All the reviews on the website are extremely positive and therefore in my opinion FAKE. I'm 100% sure they're submitted by people from within the company. They will NOT allow negative reviews to be published.
Nightmare website. It's a con.

I bought a dress for my daughters prom she is between size6 to 8 ordered size 8 when dress came zip very poor and she struggled to do dress up. I did send several emails and was not answered until a week or so ago. I had a letter off tnt and I now owe them £25 for postage whch I payed £20 to Dylan queen. I have had several emails now offering 15% back for a dress which is no good. I have now been and opened a small claims court against them and I have also emailed watchdog this company should not be trading as they do and my daughter has her prom in 4 weeks and is very upset please please please do not buy off them and get ripped off like I have

I recently ordered a dress for my sons wedding, despite ordering a size bigger than I would normally buy, the garment was about three sizes too small, it was of poor quality and the stitching was very amateurish. E Mails went to and fro to Dylan Queen all I heard from them was make pictures to show us the problem. I then received a bill for £25 from Customs & Excise for duty, I have made them aware as DQ did not declare the true value of the dress. This Company is a scam and are entering into fraudulent transactions. DO NOT BUY
