Ordered bed for guests arriving for Christmas. Due to be delivered on 23 December and I took the day off work to receive delivery. When I checked the tracking number I discovered the bed was still somewhere in England. Still not arrived in Scotland on 24 December. Staff at WorldStores and carriers XDP totally disinterested and lacking in any form of customer service. I have been told on three separate occasions that someone will investigate and return my call. Still waiting! DO NOT ORDER FROM COMPANIES WHO ARE UNDER THE WORLDSTORES UMBRELLA AND ANY COMPANY WHO USES XDP AS CARRIERS
Quick enough to answer phone to take money and order off of you but leave you on hold for an hour if you need to chase anything up!

Ordered a bed 9 days ago, my wife has been sleeping on the floor since we disposed of the other bed5 days ago(i have a chair). Can ring to buy and answered swiftly, nobody else will speak to us, sales, when questioned, are rude and arrogant, fob you off and lie as to what they (same person) have said previously. Still no bed. Currently my wife is on the fraud line with her bank. Seriously, do not deal with these con artists.
THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY - Ordered & paid for 2 items both for next day delivery, same courier company used as noted on the tracking link but only 1 arrived, delivery driver had 1 item only on dispatch note. Several phone calls left on hold to their premium rate number and emails sent which have not been replied to - customer service - WHAT customer service? - happy to take your money but not supply all the goods. If our company treated customers this would we would not be employed for very long! I wish I had read all the reviews before I placed my order.
I bought a mattress from this awful business via their ebay site. It did not arrive. Customer service is a joke. I asked them why do they advertise a two day delivery backed up with an ebay badge? Their reply was " That's only on a good day "

Ordered and payed for a bed frame from them it arrived but no fixings to put it together, after lengthy phone calls costing well over £10 and endless emails the correct bolts were never sent. When I asked for a full refund a van promptly arrived the next day to collect the bed. But after contacting watchdog they advised against handing over the bed until a refund was given. Now I have a useless bed frame and a loss of £240! BEWARE of this company they have no record of an address which is in breach of trading standards.
Placed an order for three pieces, two mattresses and one bed. Waited in on scheduled delivery day - no show. Over the following week I spent £32 on calls (mainly on hold) trying to find out where my goods were. Total waste of time, new arrangements were made day after day and not honoured. I had taken the week off work to have new floors laid on ground floor so delivery of the beds on the Monday was important before work commenced midweek. I had to cancel the floor laying to accommodate new delivery dates which were not fulfilled. They finally arrived the following Monday, a week late, requiring me to take a further day off. My daily online complaints finally generated a totally inadequate 'apology' on the Saturday. My formal written complaints subsequently have been totally ignored and not even acknowledged. It is now six weeks and not a word from them. World Stores obviously rely on the average aggrieved customer such as myself just giving up in the end. What else can we do, it is not worth suing, the frustration and anger only takes over your life so one just has to put it down to the modern way of business and move on. God help anyone else who tries to do business with this firm. Unfortunately I did not research this firm prior to placing my order or I would have seen that there are many, many more suffered the same fate as myself. They appear to have so much business that Customer Service has been deemed as superfluous to THEIR needs.
If you have a problem they ignore you i spent 2hours on the premium rate phone with no response, stay away
This is a dodgy fake company. Please stay away from them. So many people are already got cheated. Unfortunately I am one among them. Ordered a sofa which never arrived. Now I am waiting so long for a refund. Cursing myself for making a grave mistake by dealing with a fake company without reading those volumes of negative reviews. Please stay away!
This is a scam company never buy anything from them, they charge you the money but the costumer service don't even exist...
DO NOT USE. I ordered a bed frame and arrived damaged. I was on hold for 54min on a 0844 rate to let them know. I then ended up chasing them for a response to my email with the photos of the damage. I eventually received an email stating they would collect the item within 72hours via courier. Obviously I have nothing else to do for 3days. I am currently now on hold to them AGAIN to find out a specific delivery date and have been on hold for 1hr 50min so far! This is appalling and very very frustrating.
This company accepted payment two and a half months ago and has still failed to deliver the item purchased or a suitable replacement. They "forgot" the outstanding order, and every couple weeks when I reminded them, promised to look into it, send a replacement or something similar. Customer service takes days to respond to emails and phone calls, if they respond at all. Most recently, about ten days after confirming in writing that a specific replacement would be shipped on a specific date, they have told me the product is actually not available, proposed in a voicemail a substitute that does not exist on their web site, refuse to contact me in writing, and are not answering my emails. They have treated me so horribly, a mere refund won't even begin to compensate after 2 1/2 months of chasing them with emails and phone calls and being led down the garden path with items they post for sale on their site that don't actually exist. It makes one wonder whether this is a legitimate business -in my experience, it has not behaved like one.
Ordered a bed, paid for delivery and took time off work to receive... never delivered. Incompetent customer service, arrogant attitude from the delivery partner XPD Express. Still waiting to be fully refunded for items not delivered, but Worlstores are now ignoring my emails, and forget calling customer services unless you want to wait ages on a premium rate. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
I ordered a mattress from these people 3 weeks ago and I am still waiting. Their help line is useless (hopelessly under staffed with 30 minute wait times) and they take two or three days to respond to emails. The original problem (mattress returned by courier because it was received damaged) was possibly not their fault but being completely unable to respond when something does go wrong is their fault. My advice is to avoid this company unless you don't mind waiting a very long time for things to arrive.
I can't be bothered to go in to all of the detail as to why this company is so poor but been waiting nearly and month for a table top (received the chairs and table legs). When you order a dining room set the table top is quite important but they can't seem to supply one. They've tried twice (both damaged) and next one was promised for tomorrow but they couldn't organise that and it will be sometime next week! A great help for people who work full time and who have already wasted 3 days waiting in previously. Joke company AVOID like the plague.
The company like to advertise 'Next Day' delivery as a selling point, however i think they struggle to understand the concept of what this means. After ordering a rabbit cage, in which i desperately needed after my rabbit's op, it didn't turn up... Surprise Surprise. Would definitely steer clear of this company!
Ordered two divans and mattresses and they didn't arrive on specified day. Apparently courier had left a card as we weren't in which was rubbish as NO card. Called customer services and eventually after over 10 minutes spoke to someone... who was apologetic. Unfortunately my boys had to sleep on the floor for a few days as these were new beds for new house... not impressed!
Payment taken from bank but NO goods received...
Divans delivered a few days later (another day off work waiting for delivery). The courier couldn't manage the beds so myself and the man laying my kitchen floor had to carry them in and set them up!
The feet were missing from one of the divans and despite emails dating back to the 12th of Feb when I first notified them I am still waiting... also one of the drawers was broken...
I refuse to call them as I think it is unacceptable to be holding on for 10 - 20 mins to speak to an operator.
The day before yesterday the courier rang to say there would be a delivery of the replacement part the following day... guess what... NO delivery! And NO delivery today either... take note WORLDSTORES your Customer Services is appalling and you need different couriers!
IF I ever get the feet and replacement drawers I will update this... I could write a book!

I have contacted Feefo about these clear and significant disparities and have not had any response (I wonder why?).
Answer: Call the sales department line instead of customer services (worldstores.co.uk only cares about obtaining your cash and couldn't give a damn about customer service or industry laws and standards).
