I dont usually do my clothes shopping online but with a demanding job and kids to take care of. I have not had much choice lately. I was a bit worry about the whole experience after my friends shared their horror stories of online shops that deliver the complete opposite of what has been ordered. So i started with just a couple of dresses from dressale.com and I am proud to report that this online shop is nothing like the horror stories. Once my initial purchases were successful, I have been constantly ordering any new clothes that catch my eye and I enjoy shopping there

Ordered a wedding dress from this site before I read reviews on this site. Thought it was legit as it was backed by Paypal. Took over 2 months after numerous emails and live chats before I finally received my dress. I was not hopeful at all and I was proved right. The quality of the workmanship is appalling. The material used is of the cheapest quality. The finished product is totally different from the picture shown. The zip does not tally up. The boning is totally off center and bent. The button cap popped off when I was unpacking the dress from the plastic packaging. I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed with the whole experience. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE. Do not waste your money.

Don't be fooled by the nice dresses on this website. What I received was nothing like the mother-of-the-bride dress I chose. The cut was completely different and looked like a hessian bag on me. I could not wear it and since it was sent late, I had to dash out and try to find another dress in a very short time. Very upsetting! When I demanded my money back and even sent pictures of the dress I ordered and the one I was sent for them to see the huge difference, they pretend not to understand. To add insult to injury, they offered me a $25 refund.
Do not order from this website and save yourself a lot of heartache.

Like all these other people, I didn't see the reviews before I decided to buy my dresses with them because I saw big companies like PAYPAL, DHL and all the big banks backing their payment system so I instantly assumed that they are an okay merchant.

After I made my payment ytd at around 4pm++ in the afternoon, I decided to check the reviews of this company and lo and behold, I found TONNES of terrible reviews and I got scared so I tried to cancel my order within a few hours from my purchase. But, dressale.com refuse to refund me my money. There is also no cancel order button like they promised in their webpage under the cancellation policy.

I have sent them tonnes of emails, I have emailed paypal and I have informed my bank. Dressale.com is refusing to refund money for dresses that they have NOT yet even made. For god sakes, they have not even processed my order. In their email responses to my over 50 emails(I spammed them!), they are just beating around the bush and claiming that they make good dresses and in really TERRIBLE eng saying that they are a big company and they can't help it if they have the good fame. Seriously?! Bad reputation is not good fame. So they are trying to convince me to let them make my dresses. NO FREAKING WAY. They are still refusing to give me back my money for an order that has not even been processed! I have to harp on this fact!

These people are scums. Do not buy anything from them. I am questioning paypal in my country on their partnership with this company since part of their motto is to protect their buyers from fraudulent sellers. You should do the same with paypal in your country. I'm sorry all of you are going through hell trying to get your money back.

My daughter ordered her senior prom dress from this site. The dress did arrive as scheduled however the dress was absolutely 100% different from the picture advertised. I wish I could share the photos. The dress advertised was a BLACK gown w black flowers sewn into it. The dress she received was ALL white underneath with black tule sewn over it, AWFUL. It looks like something from The Addams Family. Now I'm struggling to get my $ back.

Terrible site

Terrible site. Never order from them. I ordered my wedding dress from them. The dress I recieved was nothing like the picture on the website. The lace they used was cheap curtain lace. The seams were unfinished. Sequins were used instead of beading and were falling off. The dress was falling apart. NEVER EVER buy from them. I spent 6 weeks seeking a refund and return and was simply told that my standards were too high and I should fix it by sewing it myself! They are a scam and not a reputable business.

This site is a SCAM. DO NOT PURCHASE from them. I ordered a lace jacket and what I received was the worst quality I've seen in my life. The seams were sewn on the outside. One shoulder was wider than the other. It was not lace. There were random pieces of lace that were sloppily sewn to netting. When trying to return it I was given the run around. I have a claim with Pay Pal for a refund. Buyer Beware. You will be sorely disappointed.

I ordered a customised mother of the bride outfit which took weeks longer than promised. However when it finally arrived it was nowhere near the measurements I had sent. I posted it back only to find out the address which was on the back of the parcel was ficticious & so they now claim no responsibility.
They are a fraudulent company so stay away!

O. K. I ordered a custom size wedding dress, when it arrived months later after emailing them every day and chatting online it finally arrived. I was promised that the dress would arrive before my wedding day, and all I can say is that I was pleased I got the dress a month before my actual wedding date because there would have been no way it would have arrived in time. I placed the order 3 months prior. So the dress finally arrives, it was shooved into a small DHL bag like it was a rag. The dress, was so massive and although it was very close to the picture after viewing it I nearly died with dissapointment. The dress was really shoddy made and the bead work looked crap! I was very fortunate, I was flying out a few days later to Bali. It was there, that I had the dress completely fixed and another one made in a Black for a ball I will attend soon. I paid 160 AUD for the dress and it cost me about 40AUD to have it fixed, and now it is beautiful. I dont know the name of the dress designer, but the shop is loctaed across from the Waterbomb Park in Kuta, well worth seeing the dressmakers there to fix any hickups. I will never order another dress on line, you live and your learn and in my case, I managed to salvage and beautiful dress from it. Good luck ladies

I wish I could give this site zero stars. Didn't see reviews for this site before I ordered but I wish I had! Got my wedding dress last week, it's HORRIBLE! Looks nothing like the picture, I paid extra for custom sizing, but it was way too big! I asked the company before purchase if I could return it if there was any problems and they reassured me if it was unsatisfactory in any way I could return, what a loss of crap! I've been emailing them everyday since, and only gotten 2 responses, first being, they were sorry I didn't like it, but would give me a discount on my next order(as if I'd order from them again!), and the second being, and I quote, "if you don't compare the dress to the picture is a beautiful dress, we can send you a jacket to compensate, hope you change your mind and wear it!" WTF! Dress came with a jacket and a different jacket isn't going to make it look better or fit right! And I refuse to put money into alterations for a dress I don't even like. Secondly, why wouldn't I compare it to the dress in the pic? That was the dress I wanted, not the bundle of crap they sent me! This company is unbelievable and highly unprofessional, customer service is just add bad as the product they offer! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS WEBSITE. I purchased a dress from this website for the military ball. I paid $30 for expedited shipping and the dress was still late. I told them I wanted my compensation and she said she could give me a big discount the next time I buy. I told her there would not be a next time so she proceeded to offer me a sash to my dress, which I told her, "no thank you and I wanted a monetary compensation." Their website says that they will reimburse you 30% of your purchase if they deliver late. When I brought that to their attention, they claimed the best they could do was give me $10, which is about 5% of what I paid. Also, she pleaded for me to just take the $10 because they were a little 3rd party company when there website clearly lies and says that they are not. I have taken this issue up with the legal department of the military so that they can hopefully handle this situation. Even the military told me by just looking at the website some things already is questionable. Their phone number is not reachable because it is a Skype number and becasue they are chinese they act like they don't understand one word you are saying when they do call you. This company does not hold up their end of the bargain even if their website says that they will. The military is also reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

First of all for anyone who is reading this, note there is a difference between dressale.com and dresssale.com
I ordered a dress from dressale.com (with 2 S's) and although it was delayed a week, I did receive it and it did not at all look like a bad sewing job, as others claim. It was very well put together. Other than the late shipment there were 3 other problems (that I don't really mind because I'm pretty laid back and they weren't major):
1. It was a slightly different color than on the computer, but that can be attributed to how computers present images and what not
2. It was a bit too long
And 3. The zipper by the sequin belt around my waist was a little hard to zip up
Of course 2&3 can be tailored, which is no different than last years prom when I had a store bought dress.
I did like that price was significantly cheaper than other sources and that they had dresses I know can't be found anywhere I live, so I'll be unique at prom.
Overall I might order from them again, but I'm not really a big online shopper.

I ordered two dresses for two banquets I was attending. I was winning a big award. They promised me that the two dresses would arrive March 4th. Nothing came. No apology, in fact, they wanted me to pay $30 more to deliver them a week late! I had to buy two dresses elsewhere. I spent $400, including the "premer" option to change the shipping address and they wanted me to pay more when the dresses did not arrive. Today, the 111th the dresses are due and nothing is here! I am appalled. Beware, there is no phone number to call and the emails are from Chinese custoer service and they don't understand your emails nor do they communicate well.

The dresses for my wedding are ruined and I have two weeks to figure something out. I was able to contact their online support and all they offered me was an email address to send a complaint to. I still have not heard anything back. One dress is missing a sash and another is the wrong color so I can't even take it to a tailor. I don't know what I am going to do now, I am so heartbroken. I ordered a gorgeous custom made mother of the bride dress, but when i received the dress it looked like a elementary student made it in class, i put the dress on and i was in tears the dress was horrible the lining was sewed in wrong so it made the dress gather around the hemline also it had no shape to it was like wearing a box, and the sequins were so cheap they look like confetti sewed on the dress. The bolera jacket did not have darts sewed on the back so that made the jacket not lay down against your back. I had to take this dress to a seamtress and she had to practically remake the dress all over needless to say i had to pay for the dress again. But now thanks to my seamtress the dress is gorgeous like it looked on line

I purchased a dress for my daughters wedding. It came sooner than expected. That is the only good thing I can say. The color is wrong, I can't zip it up, the lace inserts are torn in several places, the gather waist is sewn like waves, not one of them is straight. The hemline is crooked also. I did everything they asked took pictures and made measurements. Then they told me it would be easier if I have it fixed by someone local. Fine it is going to cost $75.00 for the repairs. They are not willing to pay for the repairs only give me a discount on the next order. HAHA like I am going to order from them again. Has anyone had any luck getting a refund. Surely they can't just keep ripping everyone off like this.
