SCAM!
Today I came across dressale.com. I was unpleasantly surprised to find on their website my custom made wedding boleros. They are selling them as their creation and using my photos with dressale watermark. I am so disgusted with such dishonesty. Taking advantage of the talent of other designers. Not only have copied my designs, the site is full of photos that are taken from other sites to reproduce and sell. That is the reason that when customers buy something from them they will never be able to receive the items as pictured. Very poorly sewn. Being a seamstress myself, I am quite knowledgeable about excellence in sewing a garment. While the dress in the photo is very well made, the dress I received was a poorly made copy. The Zipper is crooked, fabric around the zipper is bunched up and the seams don't match correctly. The beading, while similar, is sparse and puckers the fabric. The waistband is at least 1 1/2 wider than the example in the photo. The seam allowance in the netting around the zipper was not trimmed and shows on each side of the zipper, definitely a job done by an amateur. The dress was made to my measurements and all my friends that don't look too closely will think it looks elegant, but the armholes are so tight that if I raise my arms, I fear the netting will tear. Hopefully I can fix most of these problems myself before the wedding as customer service was not willing to take any action or responsibility for any of the problems.

I ordered my dress and it came in excellent time. The lace was all wrong, they didn't listen when I asked about a bustle. The breast pads came up to my collar bones and my seamstress couldn't fix it unless there would be structural lines showing in the lace ><. I bought a brand new dress at a dress for less bridal and prom in nanaimo bc and loved them instead. Total waste of 200$ and I can't even review on their site and my IP is blocked for trying.

I ordered a dress from dressale about a month ago, then the next day i started reading reviews posted here and i became worried that i have lost my money. I had completely forgotten about it when i received my letters their was a package and the dress in it. Its just what i had ordered and it looks good on me. Not the low quality dresses one would think, very nice fabric. I emailed company to tell them my dress has been delivered.

His is a terrible company to work with! My dress came the day I needed it and was 2 sizes to small, I sent in pictures along with the size chart provided by the company, which clearly showed the dress was made to fit a size 6 when I ordered a size 10! They still gave me the run around, stating that I did not take the pictures correctly. I usually wear a size 8 which is why I ordered a 10, thinking it would be better off having to take it in, well no such luck, I can not even get it zipped up! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

This company is absolutely horrific to deal with. The dress I received was not only significantly different from their advertisement, but it has numerous manufacturing faults. Uneven and sloppy hems, poorly sewn in zip, uneven hemline, horrible misshappen bust, cosmetic damage to the fabric, unflattering bunching, sizing variance. The dress was unwearable.
I have tried numerous times to obtain a refund and have been given the run around. They will not honour their return policy, telling me that the dress was fine, that slight variance was to be expected (thanks to the custom nature of the gown), asking me to consider their profits and the impact that refunding would have on their business and finally offering me discounts on future purchases. Awful.
They are a counterfeit business, taking pictures of designer dresses and making cheap copies. Steer clear!

The dresses were very badly made: I sent them photos returned the dresses to China. But they would not refund me the money. They basically said, they did not take responsibility for them.

I would not recommend anyone deal with the company unless they are happy to gamble and are willing to loose their money which I have! $500!

Dressale = Horrible company with appalling customer service! I ordered a first communion dress for my daughter on April 25th of this year. Realized that the dress would not arrive in time for her special day I requested a refund the following day. Over a month later no refund or dress but I do receive harassing emails stating it would be an inconvenience to cancel and refund my order. I was told to order something else from their site, like that's going to happen. STAY AWAY, BY ALL MEANS, STAY AWAY! Use your local seamstress and avoid the headaches.
