Every single time I have a delivery that is sadly managed by DPD the parcel never arrives or is left outside on the street.
I was at home waiting for my parcel that was meant to arrive today and the driver didn't even bother ringing my bell or getting in (doubt he was actually even here) and I got an email that I was not in!
Now i have to go to the pick up location to pick up my bloody parcel that is large and heavy - this is meant to be the company's responsibility to deliver parcels to customers' doorstep and not make me go out of my way when i purposely stay at home!
Such a terrible service, every single time. I am already dreading next delivery by this company.

Driver said he had attempted delivery. Not true. We were at home all the time and have dogs who would have barked. No card. Now have to travel some distance to their 'collection point'. AWFUL.
Yesterday driver didn't deliver. He was on the phone, supposedly couldn't find the place(hello, gps, google maps, 2022!), I told him I'll be down in a minute, saw him from the balcony, when I got out he was gone, wouldn't respond to my calls or text messages. Utterly unprofessional, useless, should be sacked asap! For things to be worse he marked the parcel as 'refused, contact name not recognized' - utter and complete lie and nonsense!
Another incident, just before Christmas, they once again 'attempted' only 1 delivery, instead of giving it another try they've sent it MILES away from my place to a collection point so I had to waste hours getting there! The message was 'we're saving CO2 by not delivering again' or something daft like that. Your job is to deliver, not to save CO2 by not delivering, another nonsense and absolute scam to save money, they couldn't care less about the customers or environment!
To add insult to injury, customer service absolutely USELESS. A chat bot, no one to complain to really. They might as well change their name to Hermes II - DPD - failing to deliver, that's the only thing they're good at! Disgrace, shame on you!
They do NOT even attempt to deliver! They do not ring the bell and just send you the email to go to some horrible chaotic shop to pick your parcel up, even if it's really heavy. It's happened so many times, I'm convinced it's basically what they do. And it's only with DPD that it happens. All the other delivery agencies I've ever known do actually try to do their job! DPD is the WORST!
Just received the most awful service from dpd, what's even worse is there is no customer service nor human support, no customer service email and no telephone number, buyer beware, for me I will never ship using this awful company again
Absolutely appalling service. Paid extra for 2 to 3 days. Advised parcel delivery would be Tuesday. No confirmation of slot and no parcel. No explanation but another email confirms delivery Saturday with delivery slot. No attempt to leave in designated safe place ( student reception) as clearly asked for, instead large heavy parcel with no handles left at a convenience store 20 mins walk away for a female student with no car. I think driver just couldn't be bothered. I would give DPD no stars if I could

We left a clear sign with our numbers by the buzzer as this is not working, we never got a call, just a text saying our parcel would be delivered to a "local" post office. Turns out the local post office is not even in our same post code area! Will have to take time off work to collect it.
Called the help line and they could not rearrange for the delivery, and told me i needed to contact the sender to rearrange, but they could not give me thei contact... when i asked to speak to a manager i was told managers do not take calls... (how does one speak to them, smoke signals, pigeon messangers?)
Looking further on the online status of my order I notice that the driver returned our parcel to Southall at 12:06, when my delivery slot was from 11:57 to 12:57. It is beyond me how a van can travel from Battersea to Southall in less than 7 minutes.
Guess the driver just could not be bothered.
Company that under-delivers, insults customer's intelligence, implies that the customer is lying, they themselves lie by saying their drivers only put a calling-card through after knocking and only get paid for succesful deliveries yet they admitted that leaving a parcel at the post-office is considered a succesful delivery therefore they aren't really incentivised to do their job properly. I was told the previous day that i could choose a delivery slot once the delivery leaves the depot, USUALLY AFTER 11AM according to the message yet they attempted to deliver at 07:25, my wife and i were up, in silence, sipping our coffees at 0700, we heard something discretely pushed through our letterbox and thought it was the postman or a takeaway menu because it was so discrete, 5mins later i see the calling card, absolutely DID NOT KNOCK, i swear on my honour and all the things i care for. Nobody knocked yet the customer service is being absolutely unhelpful, implying I'm lying, giving misleading information, hanging up calls because they stick to an apology hoping it sorts it all out, hear that it isn't sufficient, repeat their apology and hang up, very unprofessional and of absolutely no help whatsoever, they're angels in their eyes yet they're despicably disgusting in my eyes with their practices, UNETHICAL MONEY-GRABBING COMPANY THAT INSULTS THEIR CUSTOMERS THEY UNDER-DELIVER TO
I was waiting for the shipment of two packages ************** and ************** over a month.
I tried to call DPD customer service numbers 36 times, but never received any answer. Both lines are constantly down. Today, after 36 attempts, I was finally connected to an answering machine which kept me on hold for 30 minutes! See the attached screenshot from my phone.
At that point I gave up. I wrote to the sender, who replied that DHL could not find the address and returned the package.
They could not find it? That is a lie. Nobody ever called me, nor left a message. There was no attempt for delivery. I receiver 5 different shipments via courier to this address in past 2 weeks.
I am not paid for delivery, but I can use a phone. Simple google maps search for the delivery address "vila vivari" returns exact location immediately. And there are also local phone numbers for the hotel owners straight on the maps if DPD would really like to deliver for which I have paid.

This is the worst experience I ever had with a courier. DPD is even worse than DHL, which was so far the top contender.

Missed delivery and was told had to collect parcel would not re deliver item poor customer service as not able to collect so now have lost parcel and money i paid for it.
I ordered an international service from the UK. I waited for 5 days when it was due to be delivered with no updates. I got in touch. I was told I needed to fill another form in that wasn't provided when i booked the delivery. I did immediately. I was told the parcel was now on its way. 2 days go by no updates. I got back in touch to say where is it? The form we gave you was out of date can you fill this one in. I did immediately and sent back. Thanks that's perfect, its on its way. Another 2 days no update. I get in touch. Where is my parcel? The form needs customs tariffs that are longer than ones provided. But you said it was on its way. Ok lets go through the tariffs and we'll do the forms together so there are no errors ( my suggestion as I wasn't happy with the previous responses). Completed immediately. Its 100% on its way sir. Nothing over another 2 days ( 2 weeks in from sending now). Where is my parcel? Its being returned by customs as the information wasn't provide in time. That's DPD fault for not providing me with the correct form. Sorry when its returned we can resend it for you. When will I get it? No we wont give you your money back until its returned to you. You wont get your items for 2 weeks. There wont be any tracking for this and we wont pay for your goods despite them being insured with us as they aren't lost or damaged, I now have no gift for my family no money back and no items. I haven't sworn or been aggressive in any chat and I was cut off twice during typing to the advisor who just kept saying there was nothing they would do. Poor and unreliable at every level.
Ich habe eine E-Mail von DPD erhalten, dass das Paket an meine Privatadresse geliefert wurde, ich bin die ganze Zeit zu Hause, aber es ist kein Paket da. Der Wert des Pakets beträgt 337 €. Nie wieder DPD. Ich empfehle niemandem.
An absolute joke. The driver tries to deliver to the wrong address - the street at the back of my house so it shows the correct area on their gps - takes a picture of that building and, when I enquire through the app, keeps sending me the same picture over and over. No other way of contacting them: the phone has a message with no option to speak to someone, What'sApp: a person was supposed to message me 26 minutes ago... still no answer. I had to call the supplier - who were brilliant - so they could cancel the delivery and send the goods back to me with another carrier. Absolutely appalling.
Terrible experience with these people, promised to deliver yesterday (PCR for travel) now had to cancel everything. Seeking legal advice as to recompense. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

You driver in the above van delivered to my next door neighbour a short moment ago today At 14.18pm.
Instead of turning on her drive he decided to try and reverse on my drive, very badly, he subsequently decided run over and destroy an established shrub and completely flatten is angle iron supports and then continue to leave tyre tracks over my kept lawn adjoining my drive. I find his behaviour totally unacceptable and totally unnecessary as both drives are plenty big enough to turn a small lorry on!
I now have to replace my shrub, it's posts and repair the lawn to my acceptable standards.
Your drivers actions were totally blatant with a total disregard of people's property. Watch and listen to the ring cctv video! Hear the bang knocking over the posts! The driver did not even stop to look!

Dynamic parcel distribution, what a joke, I ordered a projector from DID electrical which was left under a wheelybin in my front garden that wasn't there when I got home from work, the driver obviously knocked and got no answer because I was in work, left my brand new projector in the front garden, obviously signed the docket himself, drew a smiling face on it and that's what I got for my 260 euros, a docket with a smiley face, no projector ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS LEAVING ELECTRICAL ITEMS IN FRONT GARDENS IN FINGLAS,

Delivered my item to the wrong address, checked the address where they had said it had been sent and there was nothing had been delivered there. Still investigating, extremely poor service!
DPD failed to deliver two parcels to my address despite lots of anounced delivery slots and "sorry we missed you" messages.The sorry messages often being sent before the so called delivery slot had expired. Avoid like the plague!
I booked on Monday, dropped off my parcel on Tuesday and it was delivered on Sunday (1day early). That was to Seattle from UK. I call that amazing. Post office is expensive and takes 4-5 weeks. I suspect only dissatisfied customers are leaving reviews.
