Dorris Wedding is a company that scams people with the nice website. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, you will never get a refund even if you DON'T purchase a custom measured dress like me. I bought a size 8 and they sent me a size that was more like a size 4. I immediately took photos showing how small the dress was per their return policy on the day I received the dress. I sent the email and photos...SILENCE on their part to give me a return address and the "required return form" needed on their return policy. They don't reply so that they can use the excuse that they didn't receive the return during the return policy time frame. They never replied to my emails. I had a bad feeling and after my 4th email to Dorris Wedding *******@dorriswedding.com within three days of getting the dress there was no response for the "Return Form and Address for shipment" so I contacted AMEX. Gets worse...they fabricate screenshots for the Credit Card company of emails (see attached photos) I never received any emails after the last email that the dress shipped... beyond SCAM & Fraud. It's been a NIGHTMARE of a SCAM. They send AMEX a screenshot of a supposed email then sent me but never sent AMEX the "return form" either. My fault for not researching this company before making a $218.78 purchase, plus the money to return the dress and I still don't have a refund. Scandalous to say the least. Good for you for doing your homework in advance. Congratulations on the wedding!

The lacy green prom dress we ordered is lovely and fits perfectly. We ordered early and it arrived in less time than estimated. The dress is very pretty and my daughter is happy with it. The cost was so much more affordable than other options we considered. With the custom order- no additional alterations were necessary!

Absolute scammers! I have sent 3 emails regarding returning items still in bag my event cancelled. They give no return forms they speak of and no address where to send them back. Customer service is non exsistant all Al

Everything about this dress was better than expected even with the positive reviews. The dress arrived before I expected, which was fortunate for me. It fit nicely, was high quality in terms of fabric and was well received by family, friends and most importantly my partner (now husband)!

My experience was great from start to finish. I had a hard time choosing because everything is beautiful. The best I picked came quickly and fit to perfection.

I get a reply back on a question I asked Dorris wedding dress and just like the wedding dress pictures are stolen off different sites so are ppl identity! Haha what a garbage site.nobody should buy with them they are definitely dishonest with how they run a business! ***Edited (Also the picture on this profile is not mine) weird how this site wanted location and other personal info now puts up a pic I didnt put up)

In addition to a great selection, when I had a problem with sizing and returns, the customer service department outdid themselves in solving my problem and helping me find the perfect dress for my daughter's wedding.

Everything is perfect, specially size and shape. It also arrived on time! Thanks!

Absolutely LOVE the dress! Was SO NERVOUS about getting a dress on line without trying it on but the customer service staff was so patient. Told them the requirements and they indeed made it! And it is so beautiful as expected, even more!

This company is a fraudulent company. Do not waste your money on ANYTHING. Sent in CUSTOM measurements and they made the chest/bust measurement where the waist goes. Their customer service is extremely lacking and poor! They will not issue a refund even though this is an error on their end, and get this, want me to pay $50+ in addition to send back the dress in shipping costs. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

This website is a complete scam! They show pictures of a beautiful dress for a super attractive price and they advertise themselves really well. Here is the nitty gritty. I was skeptical after I bought the dress. I tried to cancel the order 4 days after I purchased online and I was told they already started hand making my dress and I could get back only 50%. So I put my reservations aside and had them complete the dress and send it. I received this dress approx 3 weeks after placing the order. I paid for expedited shipping. When I got this dress, I was so insulted by the poor craftsmanship. The hems were a tiny piece of thread barely holding the dress together. The bust was cut into to different shapes, the lace on the bust was sown half on the material on one side and half off on the other side. I could continue to go on and on about how poor this dress was made. I spent $238 for the dress! They advertise that if you are not satisfied they will give you a full refund (minus the cost of shipping). I contacted the site and it took days for someone to respond. I reached out a 2nd time and it took then a day to get back to me. They gave me a bunch of BS about I'm sure I will look beautiful in the dress but if you really want to return, I have to pay for shipping on my own to ship it back. They deduct the cost of what they paid to ship it from the dress. (THEY ARE IN FREAKING CHINA BTW). Somehow I am only getting back $155 once they take there cost out, they give you 7 days to send it back from the date they approve the return. Per there instructions you have to send a picture of the receipt and a copy of the tracking number once you send it. Then they give you a option 2 (here this) keep the dress and sell it or give to someone else and they will give you a refund of $10. WHAT! The dress is poorly made and when I say poor I could have done a better job and they insult you and tell you give it to someone and take $10 for your trouble. I would not wear this on the most important day of my life let alone donate it to someone else. So, I take the dress to the post office and bam $80 to send the dress back….so now I am out a chuck of money to get $75 back when it is all said and done. Lesson Learned! Luckily, I found a beautiful dress from David's bridal and I will look stunning on my wedding day. I wish I would have trusted my instincts when I placed the order. Brides please save yourself the trouble DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT order from this website for your wedding dress. You can find a better affordable option in store at David's bridal or other bridal shops. I hope this review helps someone from wasting their money like I did.

Purchased a dress for mother of the groom dress. Once received it looked nothing like the dress; it was wrong color, and looked nothing like the picture! Multiple attempts made to return the dress that took countless days and finally was told I must pay their shipping $45 and my cost to return the dress to Province of China $107! Then I would get the difference! I'm still waiting! Seek out any other company for success! This company sucks!
