My doordash account keep on getting deactivated and best part is customer service doesn't have any clue. Everytime I need to place an order I had to create new account. Once I place an order from the new account, it gets deactivated and I can't place orders. They want me to starve for 24 hours to get my account back and then place an order. What a garbage service. I vote for ubereats and grubhub. Will recommend not to use this doordash service. Its a doortrash not doordash
I placed an order with door dash for Applebee's and the total came to $50.38 but they charged my card $60.45. I want my $10.07 back.
Due to the situation in the world I have been ordering food in hopes it was safer. But I have to say doordash is disappointing in every way. Every order is delivered cold. Almost every order takes at least an hour to be delivered. Most orders are either the wrong order all together or not made to order. And costs. Your paying double for your food in many cases. The final straw was they opened the food containers leaving the food unsafe to eat now just sitting on my porch and they refuse to refund my money. Do not use this service. Their business is garbage and their drivers have no idea how to handle and deliver food.
I have not seen my mother for over one year due to COVID. She just turned 73 and I wanted to send her her favorite desserts. Additionally, we lost my father before that so it is terrible she has to celebrate alone.
I ordered from DoorDash under their ‘New' gift service. You can have them deliver and they send a virtual card to the recipient and they can also follow the delivery.
My Mom was excited because she got the invite to follow the driver and was so excited she called me to thank me.
Then I got a call back from her and she said the driver stopped and she still had not received anything.
I spoke to a representative from Doordash. They were located out of the country. She did not see how it was their fault that I did not receive my food since their drivers car broke down. She told me she cancelled the order and would return my money and that was the end of it. No responsibility taken.
She would not offer a credit or a gift certificate or anything for me or my Mom. She simply said I could reorder and buy it again at full price and that was all they are willing to do. I then told her that I just missed my Mom's birthday and that is too late to order again. She acted like that was my problem and that I should just reorder and pay on another day then.
This is a huge fail. They have no moral compass at Doordash. They are responsible for their door dashers, period. They can go F themselves.
UNBELIEVABLY EXPENSIVE! THEY CHARGE APPROX. 50% MORE THAN THE RESTAURANT, THEN ALL THEIR FEES, AND A TIP! IT IS SUCH A RIP OFF! DONT DO IT
Terrible experience all around. A dasher who never delivered our food. Ignored our phone calls yet responded via text.
Tells us we provided the wrong address. Calls us ridiculous. Called doordash customer service and they verified our address was correct. Spoke with a supervisor. We're told we would be refunded. Tried to contact to see they actually processed a refund. Started a chat. 5 transfers from one representative to another without warning. Representative responds with no resolution but says "haven't heard back from you in a while so I'm closing chat'' I was still typing at this time and it been been 2mins. Yet I sat there for 15mins getting "I'm just checking this" "I'm reviewing your concern". I tried to send my message and chat was already disabled. Company takes no responsibility. I hope I never have to work with doordash ever again. I would love to share the chat with the dasher to the whole online community!
I ordered from Burger King, and my address was listed correctly on my account. The driver couldn't speak any English, and he didnt have a GPS system. He turned off his tracking. He sat in Gorettis parking lot for 20 mins and claimed he couldn't find me. I even gave him directions from there but he still never showed up. He claimed he still couldn't find me and supposedly put my food on a random porch and then turned off his phone.
Ordered 3 full meals, sides and drinks. Delivery was missing All three entrees and one side. Essentially I paid $17 to have $11 of drinks and sides delivered and two of the drinks were wrong. Doordash gladly refunded the missing items, but would not refund the errors or delivery charge. We had to wait over 90 minutes just to end up spending money on a second delivery. I don't know why I keep trying this service. They have radically messed up orders 3 of the 5 times I have used them. Even if the drivers are good, the management will do nothing to fix the errors. Avoid at all cost!
In Late November 2020 a Doordash delivery person entered my building in NYC and took packages in our entry way and then proceeded one flight down to the laundry room and stole my laundry out of the dryer. All of this was captured on the building's security cameras.
I filed a police report and was told by the officers this was becoming more and more common and Doordash delivery people were identified quite often as the culprits.
After contacting Doordash about the incident, they forwarded me to their insurance company re: getting reimbursed for the clothing their employee stole and said if the police wanted any information they should call the Doordash 800 number (because the NYPD doesn't already have enough on their plates? Their insurance rep replied that Doordash does not cover theft and that Doordash should reimburse me directly. After multiple emails and phone calls to get Doordash to respond they have not. Also, I checked with the NYPD and they have not cooperated in the investigation at all.
Obviously Doordash doesn't vet their delivery people and don't much care about crimes their employees commit, or their customers. In short, if you value your personal safety don't use Doordash
False advertisement, theft, and fraudulent customer service. Denial of service advertisement and further theft of time resources
At first door dash started out to be good but their fees are so high it's not even worth ordering using their app. During the pandemic times in early 202 they said free deliveries. We didn't get $#*!. This company needs to learn to be honest and really deliver some kinda value to its users.
I recently decided to get my groceries delivered from Walmart. I live in Deltona Florida.
I ordered my groceries and my order never showed up. I called Walmart and was informed that DoorDash actually delivers for Walmart. Walmart fills the order and a DoorDash driver picks it up and delivers it to the customer.
So, I call Doordash and get someone from India who barely speaks English and they inform me that I cancelled my order. I didn't cancel my order. If I had cancelled my order why would I bother putting my self through the misery of contacting an outsourced overseas rep that has NO CLUE what is going on?
I contacted Walmart again and they inform me that the Doordash driver cancelled the pickup and never showed up.
I decided to do a Google search on Doordash delivering for Walmart and there are numerous blogs about how Doordash drivers hate delivering for Walmart and most of them refuse to deliver for Walmart when prompted. Doordash drivers don't want to "do all of that work" and then don't even get a tip.
What a joke this company is. I will NEVER use Doordash and I am going to put my review on every available review spot on the internet. I have cancelled my delivery with Walmart as well.
The level of unprofessionalism is beyond comprehension and whomever you are hiring isn't worthy of the job let alone a tip.
My excitement when I discovered Door Dash was eventually filled with deep disappointment when I had one occasion after another of incorrect orders, my order being given to the incorrect location or even not getting my food AT ALL. I gave Door Dash another chance countless times only to have the same situations keep occurring endlessly. I tip very generously when it comes to receiving services from corporations. Especially during the pandemic which I'm sure is very rough on the hard working staff. But in the end, it just wasn't worth the money when I knew each time I ordered was most likely not going to end well. I enjoyed the convenience and the staff was always very nice. So, it saddens me to feel the need to go elsewhere. Now that I discovered that a lot of the companies Door Dash delivers to do their own delivery, I'm going to try this out instead and see how things go. Until then, I think I need to take a break from Door Dash.
I guess the Drivers just eat your food. Twice now we have had to go back to the original restaurant to get our food. FO... Never again...
DoorDash took unauthorized funds from my bank account and never returned it despite all my attempts to contact and solve the issue. I will call the police to find out what can be done. Horrible!
I ordered food from Panda Express. I had never used a delivery service before. They brought my food early which seemed like a good thing. My child accepted the order and is young so they weren't aware of what to look for. By the time I got there the door dasher was gone and by the receipt I saw the order was intended for someone else. I called Panda and they gave me the number for where I should call. Took forever for door dash to answer and then once I explained the situation the gentleman had to transfer me to someone else. I told them Panda was going to replace my order and they just needed a driver to drop it off to me. She said she had to call Panda to verify and have them schedule a driver. She called and said Panda wasn't answering so I asked her to call back. She did and said it was all taken care of. I waited about an hour and called Panda Express because I hadn't received a text, email or call. The lady at Panda Express said they called her and she let them know she just neede a driver to deliver the food. DD told her that they woul call me to verify and would send a driver. I explained that no one called me. She ended up calling them with me on the line and asked if a driver was being sent. DD kept transferring her to other departments and finally she hung up on them and pulled one of her employees from the line to drop off the food to me. Above and beyond on the part of Panda Express.
I have never ordered from Doordash - but I did purchase a $200 gift card on the Doordash website to be emailed to my son-in-law before Xmas. More than two weeks and many complaints later, the gift card has not been received and they have refused to refund my payment. They insist that I must deal with their third party fulfillment company called LaunchGiftCards.com which is non-responsive to my emails and does not have a published customer service number. I plan to dispute the charge on my credit card and will never deal with DoorDash again!
I ordered from DD for the first time. The first order was screwed up on their end and "delivered" to the business I ordered from. I contacted them about this muck up on their part. They tried to blame me but finally agreed to get the order correctly delivered. Then I get the order and I paid extra for bacon, which I never received. I was charged for something I never received. That's theft.
The customer service is poor and the drivers are dishonest. The driver took $30 for a order the was already paid for. Door dash is a greedy company and doesn't take responsibility for their drivers. Save yourself be using uber eats or grub hub. I thought the bad were random but its normal they driver hustle people out of extra money. Don't trust door dash. They don't take responsibility for their drivers. Kisha
I have had three major issues with a refund due to doordash and I still have not received my dash pass refund from over a year or so now waiting right just wow. Most of my issues with doordash is refunds not on time I don't get that they can charge a person so quickly but won't give it back as quickly. I don't recommend this app/website only because you won't see any of the same terms you expect your order/refund to be taken and given back.

Answer: Grubhub has lower rates now. Even on restaurants with higher fees, it is worth avoiding Doordash
Answer: They first send you to a robot and then an outsourced person in India I believe. There is no communication between drivers and the customer service so it's unhepful
Answer: First, DoorDash collects a tip BEFORE you get service. I always tip, so should you. Ubereats lets you tip AFTER you get service - better. Caveat - getting your tip back from DoorDash for bad service is almost impossible.
