Never ordering from DoorDash ever again! They stole our money. I ordered on their and someone who picked up my food didn't deliver the food to me and they stole it and when I try to contect DoorDash they don't pick up. Phone calls and through the app. Never again
My husband and I wanted to give DoorDash a shot since Uber Eats and Grub Hub have not updated their maps with my address. It was great the first couple of times but last time, we ordered from a wing place on a day where it was half off. I asked the DoorDash customer service before I placed my order if they would honor the promotion and they told me they would. I placed my order. I get my charge on my credit card and I try to dispute it because it is the full price and they tell me they can't help me. I had a screenshot of them telling me they would honor the promotion so I sent it to them. They told me their prices do not change and they would not follow the promotion. I asked why their agent would tell me that unless he was just lying to me to get my business. I guess they will do whatever they want in order to take people's money. I will never use them again.

I ordered pizza from Marco's, using DoorDash, and it was picked up by Anesha. Shortly after, I received a phone call asking if I had an extended warranty on my car. I hung up on the caller, and within two minutes, the status of my pizza order had been changed to cancelled!
I called DoorDash to figure out what was going on, and the agent I spoke with said the delivery driver NO LONGER WANTED TO DELIVER MY FOOD! Apparently, the driver was the one that called and asked about my car's warranty, and because I hung up on her, she decided not to deliver it. How rude and unprofessional! And now, because of her, I'm out pizza, AND money.
The DoorDash agent said that I would have my money back in 3 to 5 business days, but how ridiculous is that? What kind of a company allows drivers to no longer want to deliver food, after it's already been picked up from the store?
If I could leave a negative-star rating for this company, I absolutely would! Again, $#*! DOORDASH! $#*! ANESHA!
Doordash allows hackers to place fake orders on your cards and steal your personal information. They even tried to blackmail me, and Doordash offered no compensation.
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This has hands-down been the worst food ordering experience I have ever had. 2 orders were cancelled back to back. First one was because another "unknown" driver picked my order up and then vanished into thin air. Instead of remaking the food, order was cancelled. This was after about an hour of waiting. I reordered the same order and that was cancelled after another hour of waiting, because apparently they no longer have what I previously ordered. Multiple cancelled chats with customer support and repetitive generic replies from the agents, as well as a manager, and lack of an actual apology made the situation even better. Now I have 2 refunds waiting in limbo before it is back in my account. But to make it all better, they gave me a $5 credit. Meanwhile I had to order from skip the dishes so that I could actually receive some food to eat. The food arrived before any of this was even sort of resolved. No real resolution was met. What a joke. Use Uber Eats or Skip the Dishes to "skip" the headaches associated with door dash!
This is my doordash deliverer. I sent them the right address to deliver the food but they have mistaken the wrong location for another business even though I wrote down the business name! They didn't give me a text or call that it was delivered, I was disappointed when I found out it was sent to another location.
Will you get what you ordered? You never know. Will they make it right? Or will they simple tell you too bad? Its the uncertainty that makes this service unusable.
I called the store i ordered from and they said it happens alot with doordash that orders dont get delivered. It wouldnt be so bad if you hadnt paid for it along with delivery fee, tip, and taxes. Do not use ever
DO NOT STORE YOUR CARD INFO WITH THIS COMPANY... They have illegally charged my card on 2 occasions and I didn't have an order EITHER TIME. After the 1st charge deleted my card and I cancelled my account and was guaranteed that they deleted my information but 2 days later it was charges $30 again. They couldn't even tell me how in the hell they had my info to place the charge on. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!
Second time ordering food that should have been delivered in 45 min from long John silvers. Received a call from this girl with a California cell # who was suppose to be delivering my order, she was lost, I tried to give her directions and she keep telling me my address was not on the GPS. Which it is. And then she hung up on me. I looked at the door dash app email and she put in that she delivered the food, which I never received. I received another call from someone who hardly could speak English asking me if I ordered the food, I told the guy yes I did and never received it. His cell # was from another state. So you door dash has people working for them who can't navigate simple addresses and just dropping food off where ever they want. So that is it for me using door dash, rude employees, can't navigate GPS, if your in customer service business, you need to hire people, who can drive, speak English, and make sure they know the area they are delivering in. Now I have to wait 5-7 business days to get my account credited back the money spent on the food I ordered, which was $ 50.00.
Placed an. Order, received a text saying it outside my door, looked NO food. Called the number she left my food at a building 2 miles away but was more than willing to back and pick it up and bring it to me. Uh, yeah no! Had to call door dash! They replaced the order. Hour later still no food, but I received a survey asking me how my delivery was from Mike! Mike who and where is my food? Callef Door Dash ok enough I will go get my own food! They were to give me a refund back I into my back account, after 3 days of would show up, well after 3 days nothing! I called them they gave me door dash credit, I did not agree to. That as I said I would never use them. Again! They refuse to give me my money back! DO NOT USE!
I am so sick of every single order placed through doordash being wrong in some way. Between the items I've purchased being replaced with random items, missing things like straws and poor packaging and handling, I am DONE with this crappy service. Then they have the audacity to tell me that they are not going to provide the refund for the missing items because of my account history. So because I demand that my items be correct that I purchase I'm going to be penalized. Why don't you instead invest more money in time as the employees and ensure that our orders are correct the first time and that are handled with care the first time.
When I order a pizza on papa john's website, there is no mention of Doordash. Yet somehow they got contracted to deliver my pizza, and they didn't deliver the pizza. What the hell. Doordash is a SCAM, it's 100% FRAUDULENT. They got involved in my order with a third-party, without my consent, ruined the order, and then I had to call and have the charge reversed. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH DOORDASH!
I just ordered from Door Dash... a sandwich, fries and drink from Dairy Queen. I am within a 30-day free-delivery period. In addition, Dairy Queen had a notice that orders over $10 would be delivered free. So, I ordered a few extra things and went to check out. I noticed the charge was quite high and it looked like they were trying to charge me for delivery. I called them after placing my order to tell them there had been a mistake. They kept asking for promo codes! There wasn't one. There never has been one when I ordered with them before.
Anyway, this has really messed up my day and taken way too much of my time in trying to rectify the issue. For $3.99 it's worth it to leave a VERY scathing review of this dishonest company. Geez...
The pass few times I ordered through door dash; the service was bad. Driver(s) forgot part of my order and took forever to get here. I received a text stating your dasher is approaching and 20 mins later; still no food. Some drivers were not friendly either.
I tried applying to be a delivery driver for the door-dash company. I applied online and have extensive experience with the restaurant industry as well as the customer service industry. I am very personable, considerate and charismatic; a real people person. Despite the aforementioned I made a mistake in my youth and became incarcerated. I believed my incarceration would not be an issue as it was 9 years ago that I was arrested. Upon them reviewing my background check, Door-dash wanted an explanation to my adolescent shortcomings. I expounded upon such with an eloquent and sincere dissertation. I explained my past drug addiction and wrong choice of friends. I also explained my complete reformity as afterwards I haven't had a single instance of recidivism. As one could tell from my terminology, you can see I'm an intellectual and would have made a great addition to this lackluster company. I have seen the people they do hire (Most not all) are ignoble, sordid and contemptible in appearance and character. After they supposedly reviewed my explanation regarding my youthful violation of legality, the company (Door-dash) decided not to hire me. I was shocked and appalled by such blatant disregard to a worthy applicant. They sent me a condescending, disingenuous email that reads "We regret to inform you that DoorDash (the "Company") is unable to offer you access to the DoorDash platform." It further goes on to say it was from my past record (9 years ago). Well, DoorDash (the "Company") I regret to inform you that you are judgmental, intolerant and discriminatory!
A fantastic choice for people who enjoy starving to death. Place an order, then wait for hours for ddash to try and fail to raise a driver for you. Want a hot breakfast? Too effing bad. Wake up as early as you like, but breakfast hours will be over by the time they get their act together. Maybe they'll even be closed. Don't worry, because after they've taken your money and left you to starve all day, they'll take a leisurely 3 or 4 days to issue any refund. Broken. Designed by idiots. Scam.
Absolutely horrible company. I have ordered from them quite often because of this pandemic and every single time I order from a store I am missing items. This past time I ordered from Walgreens and my bill was over $70 (Only bought a few things but you know Doordash has to raise the prices drastically), anyways 4 of the items I ordered were not delivered. I looked at the Walgreens receipt and the total was correct for these missing items $54ish but Doordash charged me for the entire order (Over $70) even though those items weren't included! I contacted them to get a refund and they say "Oh sorry, you have complained too much in the past and have gotten too many refunds so you can't get anymore". WTF. Every time I complained to get a refund was because Doordash RIPPED ME OFF by charging full price when I didn't get all my items. I really hope someone starts a class action against this company. They are absolute trash.
Door Dash is Horrible
Horrible, horrible service door dash is the worst ever, I tried so many times with y'all and your driver's are the rudest people I EVER encountered. How you gonna cancel everything but 1 thing charge me a delivery fee for a $2.99 bag of chips and NOT provide a number to tell the driver to cancel it, that's so stupid. You are rip offs and I will be reporting to EVERY site I can. I paid over $4 dollars for the driver to cancel ALL my items but one small bag of chips charge 2.99 for the chips and 4.99 to deliver and are sitting on 13 dollars of my money for 3 days.
They advertise "Sign up us easy Dash right away" That is a negative! Its been almost 2 wks and I cannot get my sign I g up process complete, 1st someone had my phone # connected w/their account - They cldnt explain that so ti get ti someone who knows what their talking about well. GOOD LUCK! Finally Im signed up after 2 hrs on the phone ¬ ti mention a week and 1/2 of calls and messaging Support, now its been 4 days on my background! Their reasoning- Over abundance if ppl signing up! Really Dasher you guys suck!

Answer: Grubhub has lower rates now. Even on restaurants with higher fees, it is worth avoiding Doordash
Answer: They first send you to a robot and then an outsourced person in India I believe. There is no communication between drivers and the customer service so it's unhepful
Answer: First, DoorDash collects a tip BEFORE you get service. I always tip, so should you. Ubereats lets you tip AFTER you get service - better. Caveat - getting your tip back from DoorDash for bad service is almost impossible.
