For poor souls who NEED employment, do NOT apply to this hard to comprehend little scam they have going here. I applied. Took days to go the next step on the app that needed to be down loaded on your phone. Once I could enter my banking information (so I could get paid.), I was ready to dash. But how? ALL the bloody texts came through with dash now to a store named. NO address! No other information. When I try to text back, I get that it was given to another dasher. I need to restart my app (or browser?). Two days of this crap! Just a store name. Nothing else (and I know my small city. Meaning I know what stores we have and those that deliver.) Just wasted all morning with chat with them not understanding me (or being at all helpful)! And to CALL a support number. Why? If chat doesn't understand me on how to get started, surly someone on the phone won't be helpful either. So enraged and in a foul mood, I removed the damn app. Who needs this hard to understand grief? DO NOT APPLY! Commercial is EXTREMELY misleading!
I have tried to reach Doordash for months trying to resolve a Dashpass monthly charge because I did not authorize the charge and I have not been able to fix this, today a representative has able to see the problem, replied I would get reimburse only two months and closed the chat without allowing to answer or ask any questions. I been having this unauthorized charged since August, 2020 and no one is able to fix this. Terrible services. Doordash has not taken responsibility nor have they helped get this discontinue and reimburse me every month they have been deducting from my credit card without my authorization.
I wish I can rate this company a 0. I placed an order for my family and the driver dropped my order off some where else. I called support and they told me they couldn't issue me a refund because my account was flagged for being compensated once before because of same situation. I even tried calling the driver and texting but they never answered. I have Ring and pictures that the driver took that doesn't match my house. They said they to have to do another investigation. This is totally ridiculous and I will never use them again. I spent 70$ for them to say I can't have my money is crazy. I have to suffer because the driver wasn't paying attention but they got paid and some one else got to eat and I'm just $#*! Out.
I wish they would let us send pictures on these atrocious services out of 35 doordash orders 18 of them were refunded and given a credit because of grossly negligent vendors or grossly negligent Dashers. I am definitely allergic to onions my wife is deathly allergic to avocados and mushrooms both of Us carry epi pens with us. We make it as blatantly clear as possible not only do we choose the option for no onions but in the special instructions we make them know that we have an allergy for onions and an allergy for avocados and mushrooms and they still don't care. Today the Dasher Andy send a text saying he's having a hard time finding my property and left the food in the street underneath the sign that said my address.
At this stage I feel more beneficial to file the class action lawsuit along with many other people and Sue doordash for deliberate negligence the Dasher doesn't confirm the order when he goes to the store the vendor doesn't care about the order when they cook the food all they care about is how many orders they can get in and turn them over quickly.
And customer service which is in the Philippines only wants to tell you that we will give the Dasher corrective action and that will be escalated up to management but if my wife would have died what would have been the corrective action for that this is by far the worst food delivery company on the face of this planet every single one of the employees should be executed because they know about the actions and deliberately say and do nothing so that makes them as guilty as anyone else for attempted murder on multiple occasions because if I tell you that this is a problem and you do nothing about it and you willingly know about it doesn't that make you equally as culpable as the person who does the deed?
Rest assured we will not be ordering from doordash ever again and I assure you that was in relative speed will be filing a lawsuit against doordash.
If you are going to do business with people, then you need to NOT take their money until the dasher has actually picked up the food! $127 gone and have to wait almost a full week to get it refunded back to my bank account. And our kids have no dinner now. And waited almost 2 hours! Thanks for NOTHING! It sure didn't take almost a full week for you guys to get that money. That was gone in a matter of seconds! What a JOKE! And your "tip suggestions" are absolutely RIDICULOUS! $20 and less than 7 min from my house! I DON'T THINK SO... KEEP DREAMING YOU can tip YOUR drivers.
Ordered pizza from Rays and they sent the order to a Ray's location that was farther away than 3 other Ray's locations... Same thing happened the other day when I ordered Chic-f-la... Never had this problem with Grub Hub... and they have better pricing
I have tried to use DoorDash several times and it always messes up. Somehow my phone number and country are wrong and can't be changed. I called to rectify it and couldn't get through. I went on to chat and she said it would take at least 72 hours to rectify. I asked for some type of compensation and no deal. I then got through to customer service who said because the chat agent put it in for rectifying she couldn't help me and once again said they would not give me any credit for my inconvenience. In the past I could never get an order to be filled either. Don't use this service. I was given a gift certificate and hope I can at least use that one day. That will be the last time I use this service.
The last straw has been stacked orders that result in drivers going an hour out of the way, on multiple occasions, to deliver other orders before mine, even if I'm ordering from a place that is 10 minutes drive from my home. All I'm asking for is either transparency in letting me know when the order's placed that it will be stacked and/or the option to pay more to not have my order stacked with others. As is, I make sure to tip higher on these smaller orders, but it's moot when the drivers aren't allowed to know that before accepting the order. Maybe if they were transparent with drivers regarding tips in the first place, drivers would willing take the smaller fast food orders and they wouldn't have to bundle them to get drivers to bite. They're making things untenable for both drivers and customers with their current system. I'm just done at this point. If you must order through them and are ordering something cheap, don't bother with french fries or frozen items. The odds are increasingly good that neither of those things will arrive at your doorstep in an edible state.
If there was a zero, I would leave it. A driver backed into my daughters car on the drivers side, and damaged the front door and quarter panel, then took off. I filed a police report and called Door Dash legal. Needless to say, we're on day 6 and no further along than the day it happened. My daughter starts school in a few weeks and the damage doesn't allow the front door to open, so I am at a loss. The accountability on their side is ridiculous. We have the entire incident on video, which was provided and again, nothing. I guess it's time to get a lawyer so things can get moved along. This is frustrating beyond belief. A hit and run, with proof (On video) and I can't get them to fix my vehicle. (UNBELIEVABLE)
Worst delivery time ever. To bad for your business as I work for the corporate food vendor you delivered for. I will be canceling your contract with us immediately! Absolutely terrible!
I'm kinda new to doordash. I wanted to eliminate issues with the drivers from the stores. So i started using doordash. Here's one for you. I taped a note to the door, "Please knock loud". This is because i use hearing aids. I requested in the instructions (clearly), please hand the food to me. (im in an apt so theres no doorbell). I had just put the note on the door and sat down at the table about five feet away. Then i got back up and randomly opened the door to go check on mail, thats when i seen my food on the floor, AND the not was taken down and tore up into multiple pieces and thrown on the ground. There was no driver to be seen. However, i think his name was conner, the info provided had his name misspelled. This happened in ypsilanti michigan. I will attempt to upload pictures.
After ordering a few times the excitement of having options wears off when you realize 1. The store messes your order up 9 times out of 10.2. DoorDash is simply going to issue a refund but the issues NEVER ARE RESOLVED. 3. The drivers can do whatever they want. They say your store is closed, have your order cancelled and sit at a Coney Island for twenty minutes while you wait for no food. 4. The drivers are 9 times out of 10 going to get your address wrong even if your address is clear as day and you message them with the correct address to confirm. 5. The driver most likely will be picking up multiple orders DoorDash will NEVER tell you about so you keep ordering and waiting for old cold food. I could go on. It's just over time it gets old to have your food barely delivered with so many issues.
Received a notification that my order was delivered. I noticed the delivery driver tried to call. I received no order. I called the number from 2 different numbers and it went straight to voicemail.
When I called the chat line, I was notified that the "restaurant " was no longer taking orders. My friend went to order from her phone... place was accepting orders.
Offering a full refund without the driver tip?! Wtf? Calling bank to dispute charges.

Never get food, even after tipping very well! Makes absolutely no sense, the standards at which they hire drivers must be bar none because I'd say only 2 times out of 10 has my experience been a good one. Why take a job to deliver food if you're not going to deliver food? Do they fire drivers after they just blatantly steal a customers $60 food order? Absolutely insane business model and I will never use them and trash talk them to everyone I know and never recommend anyone work for this trash company. Customer service told me "we'll try harder next time". Your company has been around for almost a decade! You'd think the standards would be SOMEWHAT decent!
This has got to be the most incompetent, unprofessional, unethical company EVER! They refuse to make things right for customers when the order is missing items or wrong. And keep repeating themselves saying, "there is only some much we can do on our end". WHAT!?! Give me my money back or re-deliver the food that I paid for. This isn't rocket science here NEVER... EVER... AGAIN!
Today I received my delivery, 1 entree was missing. I reached out to customer support. To no avail, they did not contact the restaurant or acknowledge or refund or provide credit. They said we cannot do anything. This is their email response:
We are sorry that you had a disappointing experience using our service.
We review requests on a case-by-case basis and for this particular order we are unable to provide compensation due to DoorDash's policy.
Ordered a cooking grill to be delivered to our gated community. Obviously, the Doordash driver did not see the video cameras. The driver pulled up to the gate, retrieved our package, set it down next to the gate and drove away. The driver never tried to contact us on the call box. We received the email from the driver stating no one would help him and left HIS name as Anna B. An unknown person picked up our package and entered our community. Fortunately, the office folks reviewed the video and we recovered our grill. Thank God for video.
Been using Uber Eats for a year but it's down for today, so I decided to try Doordash, which turns out to be a f**king joke. Been waiting for 2 hours and still no food, excuse me? Switched to SKIP and BOOM, it's here in 20 min. F**K this joke of an app

Answer: Grubhub has lower rates now. Even on restaurants with higher fees, it is worth avoiding Doordash
Answer: They first send you to a robot and then an outsourced person in India I believe. There is no communication between drivers and the customer service so it's unhepful
Answer: First, DoorDash collects a tip BEFORE you get service. I always tip, so should you. Ubereats lets you tip AFTER you get service - better. Caveat - getting your tip back from DoorDash for bad service is almost impossible.
