This is not the way to treat someone. Two phone calls and this is the best you can do. You even sent me the card. But you can't verify my ID to dash!

I've had issues with DoorDash in the past (super late deliveries, multiple canceling Dashers), but this last issue caused me delete the app entirely. I just had surgery and really needed a few things delivered. After placing my order, I got four dashers accept and then cancel my order two hours, and the last one said she couldn't complete the order but that I had to cancel the order myself. Keep in mind, I've been waiting two hours at this point for my delivery. When I contacted customer support, they said they also couldn't do anything and that I had to cancel myself. They didn't assign another dasher, and they didn't provide any help at all. They just said that I would just have to resubmit my order and wait another two hours. I work in customer service, and I have genuinely never experienced such poor customer service. I canceled my order, and then canceled my DashPass. Seriously, if you really need anything delivered, don't use DoorDash.
DoorDash stole my money. Ordered through a restaurant website. One hour later I got notification that my order had been delivered. It didn't get delivered to my house. Called Doordash and was told they would have to contact the restaurant and the restaurant would have to issue the refund full refund including fees and tip. Waited 48 hours for an email that never came. Contacted Doordash again and was told the same thing. This went on for a week. Then someone at Doordash told me I was now on gold level support and I would receive email within 5 business days. No email arrived. Contacted Dorrdash again, (it's now been 17 days since Doordash stole my money) and was told that I would have to contact the restraint. I did and was told that they only keep CC info for 16 days and it had been longer than that. I finally got them to agree to refund the price of the meal but they couldn't refund DD fee or tip. There doesn't seem to be any way to get back delivery fee or tip. I will never use DoorDash ever again. This has been a nightmare. They stole my money and seem to think I should just deal with it.
I got a coupon that I did all the requirements, the coupon didn't work. When I went to complain and find a solution to my problem they didn't help me with anything
Contacted them about not having received my refund on November 9th and they told me "it shows on our end it has been paid". My bank stated otherwise and I told them that and they did not care. My bank verified that NO refund was ever sent and they still refused to issue a credible refund. Never ever again will I ever use my personal bank card on their site. They lie about their refunds and will not give you what is rightfully yours even after verification from your bank about you not receiving a refund from them in any dollar amount.
Downloaded app and signed up.first time Ordered $60 worth of food only for it to be taken to the complete wrong address.and I gave the right one. Driver wouldn't answer or return calls. Contacted customer service to be told they can't do anything because too many compensations had already been done on my acc but this was my first ever time using the app. Absolutely disgusted that's company can do that to it's customers. Will never use them again.
No, actually, your application's dysfunction are a result of bad programming, not my 2 phones.
And, your customer service people refer to buttons and menus that do not exist. Maybe they are referring to the iphone app (I'm on Android).
But there is no excuse when your application is literally telling me "go left" at the same time another voice (from Google Maps -- which YOU launched by the way) says "go right"
Nor, is it acceptable that you send me 17 miles each way for a dash, which I only accepted because the Map was in the way of your app, and the Dasher has 45 seconds to respond -- causing a panic.
The result is when you factor in gas and car expenses, the net income is around $3 an hour. Less than slum Indian wages. And, certainly illegal in America.
• Your app is faulty to the point of absolute liability for Door Dash if there was an accident. Easily provable on two separate cell phones including a brand new $1100 Samsung Galaxy s22Ultra.• Your app does not have the menus and features your customer support refer to. They DO NOT exist.• Your scheduling is flawed -- I arrived 45 seconds after I received an order and it was already STOLEN from a Chick-a-Fila and wasted another 30 minutes (unpaid) on the phone with Customer Support.• Your app gives conflicting directions, causing DANGER to the public.
The shiny nice intro videos are false advertising to potential employees who in good faith want to serve the public and make some extra money.
DOORDASH is a joke and a massive target for litigation against them.
I ORDERED A LARGE LUNCH FOR MY DEPARTMENT. I ORDERED ONLINE AND EARLY ENOUGH THAT THE FOOD WOULD HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO BE PREPARED. CALVIN S CAME INTO THE RECEPTION AREA WITH 1 SMALL BAG OF FOOD. HE WAS RUDE. OUR ORDER WAS NEVER DELIVERED. I SPENT ALMOST $200 FOR OUR LUNCH AND NEVER GOT IT. HAD TO CALL PANERA AND HAVE THEM REMAKE OUR ORDER. TOLD THEM TO TAKE OUT THE TIP HA! AND THE DELIVERY FEE
Doordash is a half-$#*! ran company they overcharged my account by over $30 each time I use it! This happened to me twice now! The second time I ordered their food half of the food I ordered never showed up and they refused to bring it to me! I spent $106 for me and I never received the real price the meal was $55! Never use this company it will be a big mistake You will end up regretting it! They didn't even deserve the one star I had to give them!
Didn't receive order and I'm out over $200, awful customer service. Called driver, he said "I don't know what to tell you, you have to call DoorDash." First "service" rep said he cannot process a refund. Asked him to call driver to arrange for me to receive order, he said his system cannot. 2022 and DoorDash employees cannot pick up a phone and call another DoorDash employee. Call ended, got a call back from "service" rep #2 asking to confirm my address and for permission to give it to the driver. That call ended, didn't hear back, called and spoke to rep #3, she couldn't refund either, transferred me to rep #4 who put me on hold for several minutes before saying she couldn't refund either. Got an email later, refund rejected. Called and spoke to rep #5, asked to speak to a supervisor, they don't allow customers to speak to supervisors, putting my message in a queue for someone to contact me.
Beware! DoorDash drivers are now swapping Popeyes' chicken for chicken from a nearby cheap joint, Hip Hop Fish & Chicken (whose chicken is smaller and cheaper; and very greasy). Please beware of this trick. Report them to Doordash and get a refund or credit. Sadly, I blame Popeyes because they fail to seal their delivery orders (or seal them incorrectly), allowing ease of swap and tampering. Awful.
Base pay for each drive is a pittance. When a driver deals with local issues, like closed restaurants or long drive-through lines or orders that are not ready, the driver is penalized for dropping the delivery by receiving a lower "completion" rating which is then tied to the pay scale of deliveries offered. You refuse you lose. In a college town like mine with a bunch of poor students who do not or will not tip, this job is just grueling not to say humiliating.
Wow that's crazy a score of 1.4 and they haven't fixed their problems. Just like thousands of other people my food came cold and there is no recourse to that. If you're going to offer a service to deliver hot food then there should be some type of implemented plan to get the food to the people at least warm. I understand that they have to travel and sometimes the food sits at the store waiting for the driver to get there but if you're gonna offer a service then you have to figure out a way to satisfy your customers. I guess it's my fault right because I was feeling a little bit lazy that day I guess I have to just go and get my own food from now on isn't it funny how when I get my own food and bring it home it's still nice and hot. And I don't have to pay a delivery fee and tip a person that doesn't get my food here hot. Well just had to leave a review of the awful service. I guess I'll never use this place again they don't even offer any kind of compensation whatsoever$35 not very well spent.
If I could give a ZERO rating I would. This is by far the most unprofessional, unreliable, ZERO customer service company! Not to mention dishonest drivers. I ordered food from a local restaurant literally 5 mins away and 2 hours later NO food! One of their reps told me my order was cancelled. The restaurant informed me that the driver basically stole my food. I called customer service multiple times and they all were horrible reps (Victor, who put me on hold and never came back, Robert who did the same, Ana, who swore a supervisor would call me back…yea right! That is sarcasm). They just waste your time apologizing BUT NOTHING gets resolved. So, for anyone who actually wants their food delivered after paying the restaurant, DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! It truly is unbelievable, they have only 1 job, to deliver your food, and they can't ever do that!
I am very disgusted with Door Dash and will not be using them again. I ordered some items from Bed, Bath and Beyond on November 11th, 2022. After waiting over 10 mins for a driver to accept the order, I reached out to support to see what was going on. Their bot asked me questions and I simply said to refund and cancel my order since it would not arrive in time for my daughter's sleepover. In the chat, I was transferred twice and then when I finally spoke with the manager, he advised me he wouldn't do anything and that no exceptions would be made. I asked again and again for my money back. They literally stole my money and I have no products. I have already submitted this dispute to my bank but please be careful when using their app. They take your money and then run. My husband drives for them and said what they were telling me was a lie. I have attached screenshots of the entire conversation. Minutes after the manager closed the chat without asking me if I needed anything else; I received an email saying it was cancelled and a refund would be issued. So what is the truth here? Door Dash is full of it. Someone better fix this and clarify what the heck is going on.
Someone stole then used my credit card information on Doordash. Called Doordash, put on hold up to 2 hours. Had person transfer me 10 times. Finally got to a person who repeatedly asked for my username as I repeated I WAS NOT A DOORDASH customer and my credit card was stolen/used. The woman could not find my charge though I said it's funny that it is on my bank account as being withdrawn. Woman hung up on me after an hour of her "searching" for this charge. Gaslighting specials for sale on Doordash.
Hello, I was ordering food from Mcdonalds at 1:28pm, the driver didn't show customer service was rude. To then deliver me stale donuts and flat undrinkable soda I did not finish because the quality of the product was unacceptable. My order did not arrive until 2:04am. It took 12 hours to get my food and customer service was not helpful. I have pictures of our conversation that they could not help me with as I was waiting 12 hours and still charged and not refunded. The lengthy wait and rude service still didn't give me a refund. I had been expecting a full refund. And would appreciate a stipend of appreciation for my time and consideration of association.
My door dash driver delivered my food without notifying me that it was delivered. He left my food in front of my house while I was home, he didn't ring the doorbell or message me that he arrived. I had to message him 30 minutes later just for him to say he already delivered it to me. The drivers name is Kieran B.
Worst experience ever was just trying to get help transferring funds from one account to another definitely couldn't get through to her because she did not speak fluent or understand English
First time user of doordash. Never again. Ordered kfc and only received part of my order and it was cold. Menulog 1000%better.

Answer: They first send you to a robot and then an outsourced person in India I believe. There is no communication between drivers and the customer service so it's unhepful
Answer: First, DoorDash collects a tip BEFORE you get service. I always tip, so should you. Ubereats lets you tip AFTER you get service - better. Caveat - getting your tip back from DoorDash for bad service is almost impossible.
