Door Dash went into my bank account 4 days AFTER I made a purchase and took not only the $13.67 I had already paid at the time the order was placed, but an ADDITIONAL $30.80 for items I was refunded for (AT THE STORE before checkout) that were not in stock at dollar general. My total was $13.67, so I was refunded the balance of the $30.80. Apparently the dasher put in my items weren't available, refunded me, then kept the items for herself and then door dash got the updated receipt a few days later and charged ME for items I never received. They didn't even notify me of any discrepancies. I'm disabled and on a fixed income. I went online to re-up my son's lunch money acct and my card was declined because they STOLE every cent out of my acct for a $13.67 order I ALREADY PAID FOR! They said I'll get the $13.67 back in 5-7 business days. That's 100% theft. Watch your acct, because they can go in and take what they want, when they want, at any time, WITHOUT your knowledge or authorization. I'll be reporting them to my bank for fraud and contacting a lawyer for theft by deception.
Horrible company. Orders are wrong, items missing and sometimes they are even delivered to another address and if you complain they tell you they know how frustrating this can be but not to worry they will take care of it and put you on hold only to return saying there is nothing they can do but the will send the problem to a special team and they will get back with you in 24 hours but you never hear back from anyone. I got fed up with it and I have DD account and disputed the last 6 SIX charges in the amount of $126.10 and a charge for $63.54 from a prior order that was never delivered and my credit card company has issued me a full refund in the amount of $189.64. Orders are wrong, missing items or not delivered to my address and I've had enough of the way you treat customers and not willing to do anything about your mistakes. I have blocked any attempts of chargebacks from DD and closed the account and have been issued a new card so you can't try to charge me back! I hope you are on your way out of business for the way you treat what few customers you have left...! I will be filing as many bad reviews as I possibly can and with the BBB!
I initially was going to give doordash a bad review and then customer support turned everything around for me I ordered a frappee from McDonald's and it was not enough money to receive the doordash unless I ordered something with it decided to order to double cheeseburgers to make my order $10 I received a call from the doordash driver explaining that the machine to make my frrappee was shut down and did I want the hamburger still my reply was no I do not little to my surprise 5 minutes later my dog's barking there's a tap on the door I opened it and there's 2 hamburgers on my porch I figured this was there way of sneaky Still being paid and receiving the tip so I fully expected the frappe to be returned to my card in the full amount within a few hours to my The automatic instead of the 5 to 7 day wait so I told them I will not use those I'm not using you anymore why would I use you I feel like I've been ripped off $18 for shake I never got into burgers I didn't wanthey came they they took a moment came back to me and said you know what we're going to refund you all your money I was shot for ivy's lift ivy's Uber Abbey's Uber eats lots of services and they never refund you all your money and they're always very rude to you and you all saw I knew I was talking to a human they understood where I was coming from and had compassion and did the right thing and I definitely will use doordash again
Driver Deonta said order was dropped off. Tried to text and call they would not answer. Called DD and they wanted to only issue a credit. Argued with them and threatened them I was reporting to the Attorney General's office before they agreed to a refund. I gave the $#*! a $10 tip on a $26 order and she still ripped me off. No more.
BIG NO to the Papa John's/Door Dash Partnership Delivery Service!
As long as we've been ordering Papa John's Pizza and using their in-house deliverers, things were great. The Door Dash Driver (Mr. Luis B) did not deliver my complete order and denied those items were part of my order, even though the items were listed on the receipt and the Pizza Box Tag. Plus, in Tracking the order, it took a 5–10-minute drive over 45 minutes. What kind of GPS are they using? Bad partnership choice; Papa John's using Door Dash.
From now on, I will either pick up my order, or use another Pizza Place. Plus, how many good workers have lost their jobs to irresponsible delivery drivers?
I wish I could give 0 stars. But I highly recommend NOT exposing this company to your debit/credit card info. It's a scam. They will steal money. No questions asked. Make sure you check your card amount afterwards. I had over 70 bucks stolen the day after I ordered. Now I have to check my card constantly to make sure nothing was stolen. If it continues I'm going to the police. This whole company is a SCAM! Its disgusting.
I ordered food from a place approximately two miles from my home. Driver called that he had the wrong address. I verified the address and gave directions. Verified the address with a second caller. They CANCELED my order. I called customer service and I was told that they would reactivate my order. They DIDN'T. I had to call the restaurant and get the order reactivated. My order was delivered about two hours after I ordered by a restaurant employee. Instead of enjoying my company I was on the phone trying to get my delivery, Directions are easily available on a drivers phone, Don't understand why there should be a problem.
We placed a food order for our ENTIRE office! The driver went to the wrong address and then REFUSED to deliver our food! We contacted DoorDash and they will NOT issue a refund OR get our food to us! This is what they call "legal theft" I guess. I will NEVER use DoorDash again! I'm deleting the app and I'm letting anyone and everyone who will listen or read know what an awful company they are! BEWARE
I have been having problems with my credit card being processed by DoorDash for almost two months. It's the only vendor/store that will not process my card. And DD either doesn't know why or refuses to tell me. My credit card issuer tells me the issue is on DoorDash's end. I've spent countless hours on the phone with and emailing people at DD who speak English very poorly and just keep placating me that they will help me fix my problem...which is total BS. They haven't helped at all. They keep telling me they're escalating the issue, then I don't hear back from them for a week and my case has "ended". What a joke. This company is garbage through and through.
How can a company allow an order to come in if they don't have anyone to pick it up. If no one is working they need to shut off ordering. I put in an order and after waiting 45 min I checked on my order to see if it left but nope restaurant still had it and order estimated pick up was 6pm I ordered at 12pm. So they were just going to let me food sit there for 6 hours and get cold. I had to go and pick up my own food. First and only time I will try this.
I love how fast Door Dash service is. My food is always hot. They deliver in all kinds of weather and they are here within minutes. I prefer Door Dash over any other delivery service.
Today I placed an order Through Door Dash to pick up an order from a local restaurant. I indicated that I wanted my order handed to me as opposed to being left at my door. The reason I wanted it handed to me is because I live in an apartment building and leaving my order at the door to the apartment building is unacceptable. I I also asked that I be notified when my order was picked up from the restaurant, I could get to a place to receive the order. While waiting to be notified, I received a text saying that my order had been delivered. However, no one notified me when and where I might find my order. I tried calling the driver Sarah who did not get back to me. I contacted the company to file a complaint, and I was reassured by their claim: Certified Experts are available 24/7 to answer your questions in minutes. Unlimited Chats. Chat with Certified Experts until you are satisfied. Experienced Experts. All Experts have relevant experience to address your situation

Door Dash clearly does not deliver on its promises. I do not recommend dealing with them.
Great idea during a pandemic but I've never had a perfect order. Either something is missing, the order is wrong, the order is super late, or the food is ice cold. These are all solvable through policy changes and training but the company continues to get worse so we abandoned altogether. I reported each time we had an issue but after a couple of complaints, doordash refused to do anything for the mistakes. They flag you and cut off support. Really horrible business.
I would say that 60% of the time I was satisfied, the problem is the other 40% has been disastrous. I believe that dashers are being hired for no other reason than they have a car. They do not read instructions from the client, they get lost easily even when they are only meters from their destination. They do not seem to be able to read or follow directions. Sadly no matter how bad the outcome for the customer, Doordash will not reimburse you even when your order is so cold it is impossible to eat. Myself I feel like I pay good money for good food, the merchant is not at fault, they send me what I order in good faith thinking it will be delivered in a timely fashion so that I can enjoy my dinner.

Food always late. Dashers give no sh#ts about how long you wait...so I say screw em I give them the crappiest tip I can wish I could crap in a hand bag and give them that for an example of how crappy they are. Stay far away like Shrek said far far away.
Didn't receive our $70 pizza order to then be credited only $28 doordash credit. We has to explain to our 5 and 7 year old why they had to eat a banana for dinner as their food wasn't coming and it was way too late to reorder anything. No apology or explanation given. They can keep their $28 credit as I would rather eat my left arm then order from them again. We order from doordash every Monday and this is the service or lack of service we get.
It is very unfortunate people have to use Doordash to make extra cash. They take some of your pay, They have bad customer service, They hang up the phone on you, they don't speak English. They are located in the Philippine or India somewhere, they don't have any agent that is in the US and it is so hard to get them on the phone. They hacked my account bank account that is on their system. This not a way to do Business.
I don't even want to put ONE star...there needs to be an option for zero. The driver never delivered my order but completed it in the app so I couldn't contact him again. I paid for part of it with a gift card and after talking to 3 people at Doordash on the phone, I have been told that I will not be getting my refund from the use of the gift card despite the fact that I got NOTHING for my money. They have lost me and several family members as customers because of this and I want to shout it from the rooftops how awful their customer service is, how unhelpful their app is, and how horrible their policies are to hard-working people who are trying to feed their families and end up getting NOTHING and still paying. Disgraceful.

Answer: They first send you to a robot and then an outsourced person in India I believe. There is no communication between drivers and the customer service so it's unhepful
Answer: First, DoorDash collects a tip BEFORE you get service. I always tip, so should you. Ubereats lets you tip AFTER you get service - better. Caveat - getting your tip back from DoorDash for bad service is almost impossible.
