I ordered my daughter's prom dress from Diydress after long days in shopping centres and several appointments in wedding shops. When we found our dream dress it was well out of my budget. I couldn't believe it when we saw the same dress but at one third of the price on Diydress. We ordered it and then read reviews, which unfortunately not all of them were good.We panicked! I used the room chat and sent a few emails, the customer service was excellent. They are overseas but their English is good. When the dress arrived, only 10 days later, we were over the moon, beautiful dress that fitted perfectly and fantastic quality, even better than the one she tried on the shop!. We are obviously delighted.

Can I ask everyone to AVOID this company at all costs! They are a rip off, deliver poor quality clothing and then when you try to complain about them, they delete you and block you from commenting on their pages! Never ever shop with them! They have shocking customer service and do not care about their customers at all! I've tried to get my cousin's money back for her, as she purchased bridesmaid dresses and they just told her to get someone else to fix it as they were no interested in helping! Awful company!

BEWARE this company has no customer service skills I asked to cancel 48 hours after and you cannot! They state in FAQ section that a confirmation email will be sent and you need to confirm but this did not happen. 48 hours later I contacted them and they offered to refund shipping. This was £0 as my dress was over £150! Several rude email responses later and nothing of use. They are so rude and clearly do not understand what customer service is. Any other retailer would have to accept a return or at least exchange within such a time frame but these people refuse! They are even insisting I take a dress that I do not want! BEWARE

What an absolute scam my wedding dress arrived a few days ago the design on the bodice is nothing like the photo on the website and the bust shaping is up under my collarbone! The back was supposed to be in a v shape with lace straps on my dress it was squared off with chiffon across the shoulders. A completley different design and they had the cheek to say it will look stunning on, no it doesnt it doesnt even fit even though I paid extra for custom made.
They told me to sell it on e bay I should be so lucky to find someone with their bust up by their neck! My weddind is at the end of May and from what Ive been reading I have no chance of getting a refund please BEWARE of this company

I order in anticipation after hearing some bad things about the website, however it was much cheaper than any prom dresses in my local shops so i decided to go for it anyway. It did take quite a long time to come down but i was warned about this by the website, just after i ordered it gave me a set date for its arrival- again because i live in the channel islands i didn't think it would come on that given date, however it did :) when it arrived i was extremely please, it was the dress i had order, in the right size, colour and shape and fitted perfectly. I would definitely use this website again. ALso the help service on the website was very useful and helpful.

Absolutely diabolical dress ordered at a cost of£130 recieved it last week completely the wrong dress and at least one size to small. Sent photos of the dress we ordered plus the one we received and was told the dress was beautiful and to take it to somebody to make the alterations. After lots of e-mails they have offered me a £10 refund. This company is a rip off. I wish I read the reviews before buying from this awful company. If anybody has any advice on how to get my money back I would be grateful for any advice. I wouldn't give this company any stars.

What a nightmare this place is and their customer service is appalling. They offered me $10 if I returned the dress. Why would I bother. They said take it to a local seamstress and have it altered or try to sale it on the internet. What the heck? What kind of customer service is this. The dress came 2 sizes too big it's huge. It would cost be more to get the darn thing altered. Once you have bought one of their reproductions you will not get a refund. This is a company in Hong Kong not in the UK. I put in a complaint through my Visa card tonight and hoping to successfully get a refund through the chargeback scheme. Ultimately they will end up paying along with a fee. I'm not sure what the outcome will be. I'm praying for some sort of refund. This is ridiculous. I can't imagine that this place is for real. I wish I would have done better research before making the purchase.

I have to say I am so happy with the dresses DIY dress have produced for me I couldn't wait to write a review to counteract all of the negative press they get.

I am getting married in July 2015 and have 8 bridesmaids who required different styles of the same dress, i. E, some halterneck, some sweetheart neckline and some with floaty sleeves. I sent them pictures of 3 dresses and was clear as to exactly what I wanted for each dress with each girls measurements and they have produced the most beautiful, high quality dresses for a fraction of the price I would have got them for in the UK. They asked me questions to ensure they knew exactly what I wanted before they started, responded to every email I sent to them and they made the dresses and sent them to me within 3 weeks, all the way from China!

I'm very impressed with the service I received and most importantly my bridesmaids are happy.

Don't take too much notice of the negative comments when thinking of approaching them. Everyone has their own experience. Make sure you send them pictures of the dress you want, with details of the material, colour and the measurements they ask for and any alterations you require and you should be fine, I certainly was.

I ordered a flower girl dress custom made (A-Line Square Cap Sleeve Pleated Waistband Knee-Length Flower Girl Dress (*******). From the beginning the staff were very helpful. I emailed for an update on how the dress was progressing within the same day I had a reply informing me that the dress had been sent. The very next day the dress arrived. The dress fitted my niece perfectly, to say I am happy is a understatement. I ordered the dress on 02. 02. 15 and received it on 12. 03. 15. Thank you so much DIYDress

I ordered a dress for my daughters prom £127 with quick delivery, it arrived 4 days late, was the wrong colour and cheap netted material. Under refunds policy I was in my rights to have a full refund but only got offered £15! Oh and I had to pay £20 customs fees too. The UPS driver told me that unfortunately it's quite common for people to be ripped off by these companies. DIYdresses.co.uk are not uk based and DO NOT fulfill any promises they make before your purchase. AVOID
