I recently bought my wedding dress from DIY Dresses much to my mothers disgust as she had been told my everyone that buying from china was going to end in disaster.
My dress was a made to measure and it fits lovely. The quality of the dress is fantastic and it was delivered earlier than expected. I bought a swatch chart from them and also had a good chat to them online before I started so all my questions were answered before I paid my money. My mum was shocked at the result and will now eat her words.
I was worried about the final item but I am not going to buy 4 bridemaids dresses as I was that pleased from the first order.

I had a military dinner to go to so I ordered the 'Ball Gown Strapless Floor-length Taffeta Lace Up Back Prom Dress' in pearl pink. After I ordered it I found some very negative reviews and I started to worry that my dress would either be the wrong size or it wouldn't be like the photo. However, I needn't have worried. I didn't order a particular size; I gave my height, waist and bust measurements and the dress fitted perfectly. Also, the material was beautiful and the dress looked identical to the one in the photo.

I did look around in bridal shops and in UK department stores such as House of Fraser, but nothing compares to the kind of dress you can get from DIY dress. I saw something simliar in a bridal shop and, not only was it more than double the price, the material didn't look very nice. Therefore, I am very happy with my DIY dress and think it is amazing value for money. The customer service was also very good and whenever I had questions I emailed them and they responded within 24 hours. Excellent choice.

I ordered two dresses from this site and i was planning on using them for my brides maids dresses for my wedding next year. I ordered a size 10 dress (my normal size) and also got a size 12 dress because it was a tighter fit and i was planning on altering it to be smaller. The size 12 dress ended up being smaller then my size 10 dress by half and inch. I emailed to return the dresses since i had previously inquired on their website, (which states if you are unhappy with the dresses you order you are able to return within 14 days). They declined my return and said that the dresses were custom made( Which i did not do) and they could not accept a return, but if I gave them £120.00 more they would remake it for me. I had to email them back and forth for 3 weeks, measure the dresses and send them pictures to show that they had made a mistake on the size of both dresses only for them to decline my return and continue to suggest for me to buy more dresses and they promise to make those right. I would never buy from this website as they have bad service, and actually are promising false things on their website which say you can return if there is anything wrong with the dress. I do plan on reporting their website as I believe they are not upholding what they said on the site.

I ordered my wedding dress from diy dress. After reading some bad reviews i freaked out and brought another dress from else where. However the dress came 3 days before it was due and when i opened the bag i could not believe it. The dress was exactly as shown in the photo. The skirting is thick and the beading on the bodice is perfectly placed. I genuinely couldnt believe it after reading the reviews. I tried the same style dress on in a bridal shop the week before for £875 and i only paid £155 for the dress from diy dress. 1 million percent recommended i can not fault the quality & it is so heavy. Beautiful, beautiful dress.
The only thing i would say is to order a bigger size than you usually are. It came and is too small so i have had to buy another one im a bigger size but i 100% trust the dress will come the same fantastic quality!

I had checked this companies reviews before buying but shouldn't have worried, from the minute I ordered the dress to the minute it was delivered the service was fantastic. I spoke with the onine team about sizes and measurements and they instructed me how and where to measure because my daughter is 11 yrs old and this was for her prom dress. The dress arrived ontime and I was so nervous but it was absolutely perfect... fitting and material, I was a proud father with a lump I'm my throat she looked so grown up and beautiful. 100% to the whole team, I would definitely recommend and use this company again THANKS
