I ordered a dress for my 12 year old daughter. The dress came, but they'd taken my custom measurements and made the shoulder straps too short, so the bust measurement ended up at the top of the shoulders, so it's way too small. I've tried to get in contact and they don't want to know. Basically if anything goes wrong you are completely left high and dry. I'm warning other people because you're going to be spending a lot of money here for something which you can't get refunded and something you can't use.

The dress arrived and it was finished terrible! Back and front weren't stitched properly. The dress was supposed to come in jersey but it arrived in thin polyester chiffon fabric that look awful. It's better to invest money in a decent and well finished dress. They are difficult to communicate and they don't provide return address so I'm aiming to get my money back. They don't have PayPal service so finance doesn't treat them properly. Ditch them!

The dress I received was just awful.

I paid extra to get my dress made to measure and the result was completely hideous.

Looked nothing like in the picture, it was the wrong colour and wrong style. The sizing was waayy off despite apparently being "made to measure". The stitching on the seams was awful in some places, could have done better myself. The end result was laughable to be honest, feeling so scammed by this website.

My friend bought a dress at the same time as me and her experience has been the same. Wrong size, wrong colour, badly made and the sequins are falling off the top already and she hasn't even worn it.

She has contacted them for a refund but so far they are refusing. I've not heard back from them yet. But I've read elsewhere that no amount of pushing gets a refund no matter how awful the dress is.

Even if some get lucky with this company, I wouldn't recommend taking the chance and being left with an unwearable, unalterable and unsaleable dress and £200 out of pocket with no chance of a refund.

I paid an extra £40 to have 2 dresses arrive by 12th may. They arrived 7 days late and now no good to me as the event I bought them for was on the 14th may. They have offered me £20 back and a discount on my next order! I have sent approximately 20 emails asking to return and have a refund with no joy. These people are incompetent and clueless - they have told me it would be inconvenient to have the dresses back even though before I ordered I was told I could return if they were not suitable!
This is the worst service I have ever received.

Ordered size 16 dress and here the problem begins
1. Dress arrives late and in a plastic bag like it's come from eBay!
2. Material not what dress in picture made of, beads beginning to fall off but willing to over look as not much time and daughter still likes look of dress.
3. Size 16 more like size 12 (this is why I contacted diydress)

Diydress inform me that it is my fault I ordered wrong dress. They ask me to send measurements of dress which I do they then ask me to send pictures of the tape measure on the dress! They then tell me it's my fault again and offer £15 and tell me they will make a new dress for a reduced price of £80. Absolutely shocking service do not waste your money here.

I ordered a taylored made dress for me daughter, and paid extra for a firm delivery date, I was concerned about the lack of information given by the company, no dispatch notice etc. I quierired this I was met with a rude live chat representative, I've been given one excuse after another, they have promised me that the dress would be here today, given tracking information that did not, work when I queried this they said it will take 12 hours to show up but 12 hours made it the next day, which if it's meant to arrive today, that makes that ever so ridiculous! I my delivery date was the 2nd today is the 7th, no dress, and I'm not here now until the dress is needed, so I've paid for a dress, that can't be used now. So if your looking to by a dress from this company Be warned they are Rubbish, and constantly fob you off with excuse after excuse I can't comment on dress quality because guess what, I HAVENT GOT ONE!

Was desperately searching for a new evening dress this year, many friends are going to get married, prom balls etc. a lot of occasions to attend. I found this page and OMG they have so many gorgeous dresses that I needed 3 days to decide which to choose, I ended up buying 2 stunning evening dresses, one is short and the other one is longer for chill evenings. I didn't even know made to order dresses came at such low prices and I was very satisfied once the parcel arrived! They are amazing!

I can only say that besides my near heart-attack feeling after seeing all the negative reviews like on this page, I was more than satisfied with my purchase from this site, the prom dress I've purchased came four days earlier as expected, it looks stunning, it is very well made, fits like a glove and I can't wait for the prom! The £145 I paid for the dress, custom measuring and shipping were totally worth it!

I ordered my wedding dress off DIY dress, when it arrived it did not suit me one bit, the inbuilt bra was completely misshapen. I contacted DIY for help, I emailed several times, I phoned and left messages, did the on line chat and made three complaints on their site. No satisfaction what so ever, except for one line glib responses from the on line chat service. I wanted a refund for dress that looked awful on me. They give you 7 days to return the dress, but you need to have their permission first!... which you cannot get because the are so hard to contact. Please do not buy, despite favourable reviews you may well be disappointed.

Warning do not buy from diydress. They are claiming to be uk site based whereas everything is all done over seas. I had nothing but back the forth about when my dress would get here getting told different things from different people then when my dress did turn up it wasn't well packed just in a bag and then a jiffy bag.
The dress itself isn't that bad better than I ever expect but the boning in the dress is awful unless you have no boobs you'll be fine it doesn't give any support what so ever
Now to try and get a refund first of all the sizing isn't correct on the bust when I sent photos they told me I had measured it wrong and to do it again. Now asking for a refund they are now asking why ect so now waiting on a reply. Iv been told several times by the online people that I can return if not happy which I have screen Shotted if they ask or bank ask to see proof. This company is nothing but getting me frustrated they are making something that would be so simple into a Massive pain in the arse.

I have emailed them several times, yet they are totally ignoring me. The dress arrived late (I needed it for an event and had to wear something else), it does not fit me, and it is the wrong length (I wanted knee length and they sent me an ankle length dress). I also paid for a faster delivery and yet the dress did not arrive in time. I told them I want to send the dress back and to get a refund, and they are now totally ignoring me. They did not ignore my money though, the cheek! They are mistaken if they think I'm going to let this go by.

My dress arrived and I had a chance to wear it at the local fiesta, I couldnt count the many compliments I received for it. The dress was beautiful, stitching and details were perfect. Quality is very good.

Kept in touch all the time through live chat as I was really worried after reading negative reviews. I wish I had ignored them and not put myself through the unnecessary worry as the dress is beautifully made and fits perfectly. My daughter looks beautiful in it and I can't wait to see her at her prom.
