If I could give them negative stars, I would. I Placed an order for 100 shirts in early January with an estimated delivery date of 1/19-1/20. When I called today to follow up, I was told they are running 2 weeks behind, something they never relayed to me. My order is for an event next week and I will not have them for the date, which ironically was to be printed on the shirt. MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY EVER. Do not waste your time or money with Discount Mugs

Bad product, worse customer service

Terrible.

Summary: designed/ordered about 50 mugs with a color logo, but when they arrived they were all B&W. Customer service representative talked to me like I was stupid and refused to help.

Details: I ordered pens and mugs with the same color logo. When designing the pens, the website clearly told me "this is a single color item" and changed the artwork to B&W. Fine. When designing the mugs, no such warning was given, and the artwork stayed full color right up through the confirmation email and the invoice. *Never* notified me that the item would be printed differently than it was displaying. The invoice says "1 Screen Charges", which apparently I was supposed to interpret as a single color item? But again, this is on the invoice. I was never notified of this during the design or checkout process.
The customer service rep, however, felt I should have looked through my crystal ball and known what I was paying for. Talked to me like I was an idiot.
Don't buy from these folks...

I have purchased many items from this company in the past and I will NEVER order from here again after my most recent experience.

Long story short, I ordered mugs that said they would be here by 11/24, they're still not here 12/15. When I reached out to them about the order on 11/30 they said they would up the priority, I dont understand why since they should have been made already. They asked when I needed them by, I said a week to which they replied they would keep me posted. I did not hear from them again and I sent an email 12/6 and they said they were going to ship them out that day which is a week after I said I needed them by and its been even longer and they're still not here. It's practically Christmas and will be headed into the slow season, I don't even need them now, I wouldn't have ordered if they were going to be here at-least close to when they said.

They are refusing to give any sort of credit or incentive to stay with them as a customer, so I wont. I have spent thousands of dollars with them in the past year but that does not mean anything to them so if I were you, I would take my business elsewhere because they do not value it.

Very dissatisfied. I was meant to receive a shipment by 12/8. As of 12/10, it had not yet been shipped. On 12/8, after a long chat with customer service, i was told someone would email me to work through the issue. I followed up on the 9th, and no one reached back out to me. I called again on 12/10, and all they could do was refund the rush fee i already paid for. This is not the only order that was late, but the most egregious...

Cancelled at the last minute

Waited two weeks and on the day the order was due to be delivered, they cancelled. They claim the items are discontinued. No explanation of why they did not know that sooner.

Tough
November 29, 2021

Use any other company you can. They sent me something completely different than what was pictured on their website and my proof and expect me to keep it. It's $1100 worth of promotional goods for black friday. We cannot use any of it. They promised calls back every day for a week with not one single call back.

EDIT: After a week and a half - they've credit my account for another promotional product of the same total cost. If I were to do this again, I'd order a sample.

LIARS, CHEATS & THIEVES

Placed order on October 26th, 2021 with a delivery date of November 9th, 2021. Order contained 100 squirt bottles that were to be given to children as gifts at an event on November 27th, 2021. With expected delivery date being 2+ weeks prior to the event, no issues should have occurred. After several days going by with no tracking info being sent after the expected delivery date, I decided to call customer service to get tracking information. I was told the bottles were still in production and would be a few more days (this was November 15th). I waited a few more days and called again (November 17th) and was promised the bottles would be shipped that Friday (November 19th). When I did not get tracking by Monday (November 22) I called yet again and was told they would ship the next day (November 23). I just called in again today to get the "tracking information" and was instructed that there is no way that the bottles would be done in time to ship. I have been given the run around by this company for weeks, only to be told that 100 kids would not get their gift this year. These were not meant for adults or to be sold, but rather gifts for children and this company took full advantage of us. We could have canceled the order weeks ago and found something else, but now because of the refund delays, we wont get our refund for days if not weeks and nothing can be done for the kids. This company instantly took the money from our bank account but refuses to refund instantly. They sold products claiming to be in stock but was not. Scammed our organization (and others from what I just read) by lying and misleading us.

Terrible

I ordered sports bottles with logos and paid extra for delivery. Of course they charged my card immediately yet several days later was notified they didn't have the color I ordered. I ask to be refunded immediately…. Several emails later they said they had different option (again instead of refunding me), OK so I ordered a different color but only on the premise and promise they would be overnighted. Were they overnighted? No. Now I'll be stuck with a product I don't need. I could have ordered something else from another company. Don't make promises to customers you can't deliver on.

Cheap & Poor Imprinting

Purchased 50 wine mugs for $850 - What a disaster. The only thing good about this order was the shipping was quick... I can see why as the product is REALLY CHEAPLY MADE and the "printing" is so small and no color at all.

1. Logo print is very light and soooo small. Definitely feel this should have been larger and darker, as in the proof from the website…the writing is almost bluish/grey, not black
2. Black lip of mug – very sharp on all the mugs, both inside and out. Coarse and jagged.
3. Black lip to silver part of mug – not aligned properly, I can only describe it as bumpy along edge. The metal does not align with the black lip of the mug.
4. Mug does not keep beverage cool or cold at all.

Waiting on Customer Service to get back to me!

We used Discount Mugs for years. We would get the champagne flutes with our logo on them our giveaway bags. The imprint size on our old flutes were exactly 2.5 inches wide by. 5 inches tall. We placed a duplicate order only this time we ordered more because we were so happy with the other orders. I approved the proof after 3 times because they changed the layout of the artwork we had already in their library. I included pictures of our old flutes and the new ones we got. Thankfully or maybe not thankfully for anyone else who orders these, i can rub the logo right off and just use blank ones. We will find some other company from now on for all our orders. The customer service was the most unhelpful, they offered no refund or replacement for these useless products.

Run, Don't Walk!

I placed an order for a very important client project. The completion and arrival of the project was supposed to be in time for the due date of the project. I checked on the project four days before it was supposed to be in-hand, only to see it not even being in production yet. I called customer service to find that they were out of stock when I ordered the item! I talked to several people at Discount Mugs when I initially placed the order to make sure the art was correct, and surely, someone could have notified me then that the item was not even in stock. Over a week went by, and no one notified me that my items were not being made because the items are out of stock. I would have had time to order elsewhere if Discount Mugs had one competent person working for them to notify me that the item was not even in stock! Now, I am left scrambling to find a solution that will work instead for the client's project. How does this even happen? They don't know how to keep track of their own inventory? Yikes! Run, don't walk from this company. They obviously have no idea what they are doing! Supposedly they are refunding our money for their mistake. We'll see.

EMBARRASSING product quality
September 30, 2021

I ordered 300 Logo water bottles 4 years ago for an event and the quality was amazing. Last month (8/21) I ordered the water bottle for 175 guests with our logo and as soon as I put ice and water in the sports bottle, the logo immediately began to peel off! I am beyond embarrassed to have given away to our friends and family such an inferior product. I tried working with DM customer service and that has been an exercise in futility. The whole experience has been awful and I strongly suggest you choose another company to work with if you want a quality product and helpful customer service.

I own a yoga/Pilates studio and we began trying to order T-shirts with our logos on them back in May from Discount Mugs. There were several correspondences with changes in design and somewhere along the line the small sizes were deleted from the orders. Of the orders I did receive one of the shirt styles was a thin distressed style. As I took these shirts out of the box, they were all stuck together as the logos had melted into each other. As I tried to peel them apart, the shirts stretched and threatened to tear. Every single shirt had to be slowly and carefully peeled away from itself and the next shirt. Then we realized we had no smalls. Discount Mugs somehow managed to convince us that it was our mistake that we were only given larger sizes and explained that we would have to re-order a "minimum" amount just to receive small. Although frustrated, we decided to spend the almost $700 to get smalls in the shirts. When the small sizes came they were completely wrong. The logo was in the wrong place, the wording was in the wrong place, and the wording was also wrong (It was supposed to say "Some Like It Hot" for our hot yoga studio and instead it said "Some Like It" wrong font, wrong wording, wrong place on the shirt. We immediately contacted Discount Mugs and asked that they refund our money and we would send the shirts back and just be done. They responded by email and said they needed pictures and explanation, which we sent them. Then they responded that their management team would review our concerns and be back with us in a few days and that it was not their policy to refund monies paid. That was over three weeks ago. No response, no support, nothing! What a horrible way to run a business. And of course I have already been charged the almost $700 which I am now disputing through my CC company. I'm stunned by all the positive reviews. Our experience has been horrible and considering this has been going on for over three months now, I think we have been patient enough. I would NEVER recommend this company.

I have ordered hundreds of items from this company in the past. Now they will take your money and your order and never deliver. My last order I did online. They had in stock. Never came. When i asked they said they did not have the item. Had to fight for my money back. Never never again!

I placed a large order on their website and although it showed a delivery date that would be perfect for my event it never showed up. Website tracking said estimated delivery date of 7/20. Every time I called to find out about my order the person would tell me it shipped and they would get back to me with the shipping tracking number. No return call. Next day, different person, same story. But she said tracking number would be on the site by end of day. Nope. Called next day and finally someone told me that the order did not ship and would not make it to me in time for my event. Wow! How can a business run this way? Do NOT use this company. Now I am hoping that the mugs which will arrive late will even be what I ordered!

Can't be Trusted

For several weeks I had been looking at various wine glass designs for my 60th birthday celebration. During the process of saving wine glasses to my file; discount mugs continually e-mailed and called me asking me to complete my purchase. When I finally selected the glass and design I wanted, I completed my order. My estimated delivery date was July 20th. I called to check the status on July 20th, only to be told that my glass selection was on back-order until October! I get it, items sell out. However, my problem with discount mugs is that no one every contacted me by phone or email to advise that the item was on back-order for 4 months! They managed to e-mail and call for me to place an order, but somehow they didn't the decency to contact me about a 4 month backorder! Thank God I called, if not I would have been waiting for something that wasn't even on the way. By the way, the tracking feature said that the glasses were in production; which is impossible if they do not even have the glasses. Now I have to rush and find another supplier before my August event. I wouldn't recommend that anyone take their chances with Discount Mugs for a special event. The cause more headache then needed.

HORRIBLE experience
July 18, 2021

Probably my most frustrating on-line shopping experience of the last decade. Order supposed to be delivered 7/1, for an event. After over a dozen phone calls w customer service, I still have nothing and have given up. I did get a full refund, but now they want me to reorder, with no compensation for delays, missed deadlines, miscommunication, or aggravation, all of which were significant. Thumbs down for discount mugs!
