Saw a gun safe on a flash sale.it appeared in picture to be as wide as tall great deal and so i flash purchased it. When i got home i was measuring where to put it saw it was same size as my current safe not the wide on in pic. I tried to cancell order but they said i only had 30 minutes to do so, but i could get a full refund once i recieve the 500 lb safe load it on my truck return it to shipping company and wait 30-45 more days for my money.as of now they havent even charged my card nor shipped safe yet but still want to waste their time /money and greatly inconvience me in process to send me an item they already know is going to be returned.
Went to return an item, or actually exchange it for something, and was not allowed to do either, based on my return activity. Total b. S. I have a right as a consumer to change my mind. Before I tried to return/exchange it, the manager said to me that if I ordered something online, then if it didnt work out for me, then I could RETURN or EXCHANGE it! They, along with other companies use a site to track returns and can blacklist you from returning items. They can take your money and thats okay. But you cant change your mind. What if I had purchased several items and couldnt return them? Id be out of luck. Never shop here again! D I c k s are a bunch of d i c k s!
Cannot follow through in delivering a simple order. After three weeks of placing the order, I'm still waiting and they can't tell me where and when i should receive the order. Ive call four time, chatted online twice and I get the same answer, I will try to help and expedite but NOTHING happens... this is the last time i will shop here. There customer service 800 call center needs work... cannot hear the agents, static on lines, the wait time is way to long and the end result is no where.
We've all shopped online before and have had various experiences... this is the worst I have NEVER had in my life and I am pretty forgiving
If you haven't tried these yet, what are you waiting for? Dicks has a large selection, and once you have these on, you won't want to take them off! And dicks large selection and great on line ordering is a snap! Put these on you Christmas list, you won't regret it!
I RECEIVED AN UNSOLICITED EMAIL FROM DICK'S SPORTING GOODS IN MY EMAIL INBOX. THEY STATE IN THE EMAIL "Thank you for your recent online order. Please help us improve our delivery and product packaging by giving your feedback here.
Upon completion of the survey, you will be presented with a coupon to receive $10 off your next in-store or online purchase of $50 or more.
AFTER COMPLETION OF THE SURVEY AND RECEIVING MY COUPON, VIA EMAIL, I WENT TO THE DICKS ONLINE SITE TO BUY A $50 GIFT CARD FOR MY SON FOR CHRISTMAS. WHEN I GOT TO THE CHECKOUT AREA THERE WAS NO PLACE FOR ME TO INSERT MY COUPON INFO SO I CALLED AND SPOKE WITH "AMBER" WHO FORWARDED ME TO "EDWIN" WHO TOLD ME I NEEDED TO UNDERSTAND THAT WAS NOT HOW IT WAS GOING TO WORK. IT TURNS OUT DICK'S HAS A TON OF RESTRICTIONS ON USING THE $10 COUPON THAT THEY DO NOT TELL YOU ABOUT UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO USE YOUR COUPON. I WAS ON THE PHONE, MOSTLY ON HOLD, FOR 42 MINUTES AND RECEIVED ZERO SATISFACTION. DO NOT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME ON DICK'S SPORTING GOODS, IMO!
All On line bicycles were supposed to be free shipping. WRONG. BUYER BEWARE! Not sure how they pulled that one off, but 86$ added on for shipping and then large size extra shipping on top of that. Skunks
Flash sale of 40% off a single item was a bust. I think this was just a marketing tool to get people to the site. The hour flash sale was good for the first 50,000 orders within an hour timeframe. As soon as the sale started, the whole website was unavailable. Kept hitting refresh and couldn't get anywhere. As soon as 30 past the hour hit, the website started to work again and apparently the sale hit 50,000 orders and the discount in my cart was no longer good. On top of that, everything is ridiculously overpriced. These guys are headed right where Sports Authority ended up. Bankrupt. Do yourself a favor and do not shop here.
Horrible service! Ordered a bathing suit for my daughter last Thursday 8/24/17 paid for 2nd day shipping only to find out that it's not arriving until 8/31/2017 which is 8 days after I placed the order! Huh? I clearly explained to the person on the phone when I placed the order that I needed it by 8/30/17- I was assured that would be no problem! Yes, I even placed the order with a real person not on-line because I thought that was safer to make sure it was delivered on-time. Nope. I never got an email with a tracking number. Tonight when I called customer service to check on my order- it took 10 minutes just to find my order because of "technical issues they have been having for weeks"? Dick's Sporting Goods can't hold a candle to Amazon, no wonder they can't meet Wall Street's expectations. Get with the times Dick's- fast turn around time- or you'll be the next Sports Authority! Never ordering on-line from Dick's again!
Ordered an item and same day decided to cancel. Was told by customer service no problem just return or take to the store. Called again to make sure a crossbow was returnable as told. Then was told couldn't return had to contact shipperr. Did that and shipper stated Dickssporting had to cancel shipment. Called back and was told no return and didn't know what would happen if I sent back item. All thru the order process there was fast and free instore returns on every page never once was warned item was nonreturnable. Thanks for nothing
I ordered a backpack for my son online to avoid the 35 mile drive and it was shipped and delivered with the plastic security tag on it. I called customer service and I was told I now have to make the 35 mile drive to get the store to get it off or return and reorder. They could of at least offered some kind of refund to make up for the gas and time I know how to spend because I need it by next Monday. No time to return and reorder.
I bought a pair of shoes with an ETA of 1 week, after 4 days of not receiving any information that the shoes were shipped I checked and the order was still on "processing ", I contact them, spoke with Linda and Tim, a supervisor, they told me that they have no idea when the order was going to be fulfilled, they did. It know if the shoes were on stock or a back order, they did not know either the ETA, Tim told me it could be a week or it could be three weeks! I told him that I wanted to cancel my order and he said they could not do it, once the order is placed i only have 30 minutes to cancel, otherwise i have to receive the shoes and then return them if I want to get my credit. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!
North wales, pa worst customer service in the shoe department today. Left and bought field hockey cleats and turf shoes at moddells along with a hockey stick. Better deals too. Went home and ordered anther hokey stick online with moddells. Hey dicks you are not the only sports store.
Ordered online based on delivery date. Delivery delayed, so the item will likely sit on my porch, or not, until I return from the trip that I was purchasing for.
They truelly have the worst customer service. I ordered a pair or shoes over two weeks ago and my order kept getting canceled. I called and ordered multiple times until two orders went through even though I only wanted one. They charged me twice and mailed two pairs of shoes. I never received the pairs of shoes. I'm not sure if something happened with ups or dicks. I called and asked to get a refund for one of the charges and another pair mailed to me. A manager told me that they couldn't give me a refund and that they have shipped out a new pair. I still haven't received my pair of shoes and I have been charged over $150 for a pair of shoes that costs about $70. At this point I doubt that I will get anything mailed from them. My only option is to contact my back and try to dispute the charge.
If I had read some of the reviews below - I would have never bought anything from Dicks Sporting Goods. I purchased an elliptical machine from them last week and paid for delivery and assembly. It was delivered by Select Express & Logistics, a very unprofessional and bad customer service company. They gave me a 3 hour window for delivery but failed to show up within the promised window. After a call to their customer service, I was put on hold for 9 minutes and finally advised that the technician would be at my home within 1/2 hour.
After assembly of the equipment, the technicians left the huge card board box and trash at my home and told me it is their company's policy to not remove the trash. Really - I has tens if not hundreds of deliveries over the years, just 3 last week by Macy's. The delivery persons always take the boxes and trash, clean up the place before they leave. But not with Dicks Sporting Goods and their substandard contractors.
I called the store and spoke with the assistant store manager, Ryan ( won't give me his last name) at the Huntington Beach, CA store but it was a complete waste of time. He gave me all kind of lame excuses, such as, they have no control over the delivery company etc etc. Hello management at Dicks - I don't know who you contract for delivery and don't care, when I purchase something from Dicks, I am dealing with you guys and you are responsible for my satisfaction.
Bad experience - please find another store for your sporting goods purchase - you will avoid a lot of headache.

My advise is to never buy anything from them. I feel so sorry for all of the customers who call in.
Most of the people who work there really want to help you, but with the set up that Dick's has, it's nearly impossible.
I have never worked for such a flawed company.
Purchased all of my sons baseball gear from here. Went to exchange his pants because I got the wrong color and because I didn't have a receipt they wouldn't let me. Even though it was an even exchange with all tags intact! Same pants just different color! This will be the last time I buy anything from them! I should have listened to other people and purchased from meijer for a cheaper price.
They people who work here are really great informative people. They are really helpful. The merchandise is good quality too.
I ordered soccer cleats. They were supposed to be delivered on March 31. After they didn't show up, I called and was assured they were processing. The very next day they were cancelled, because they were out of stock. We checked the website again, and the cleats were still shown as available.
Answer: No doubt that Dicks Sporting Goods is the real deal.
