I received a email that if I register my email I will receive 10% discount the if I make a online order over $100 I would get $20 off so I went and purchased a outdoor stove for $129 excepting to get my 10% and the $20 that I was told and they only gave the 10% and it wrong if your told that if your purchase is over 100 your expecting to get the $20 off that you were told in the false advertising.
Worst online delivery service and customer care. Please don't order anything online.
I placed an online order for delivery yesterday night. Canceled the order literally within 20 minutes. 15 hours have gone by and no updates on the cancellation request yet. I have reached out to the customer representatives 2 times this morning and they just mentioned that my cancellation request is being processed. In the meantime, the order status changed from 'processing' to 'preparing for shipping'. The customer rep says if it's shipped, I could return it and I would later be reimbursed for the same.
That's pathetic! Why would you ship an order that was canceled within 20 mins of placing it and the customer has been actively trying to reach out to customer care to expedite the cancellation process? Waste of everybody's time and resources. Then I would have to return it and wait for the refund for another couple of weeks.
I read several similar reviews online. People canceled the items and still those were shipped. They received an email 3-4 days later mentioning that the order could not be canceled. What century are we living in?
Ordered through paypal, got a confirmation and notification that my payment went through.
Waiting for my order for 1 week already, and nothing.
I call them, they tell me that they can't find my order! I told them to place a new order and they tell me that the item is now out of stock with just a simple "sorry".
But the worst in this is that the lady on the phone acts like it is normal and tell me that this happens a lot when you place an order via paypal!
So basically, a huge company like DICKS doesn't have a DECENT PAYMENT METHOD!
The incredible part in this is that paypal confirmed me that they still have my money!
After speaking to this unprofessional lady, I asked to speak to a manager. Same thing! She says she is sorry but she will find the product, after 5 minutes she tells us that the item is sold out countywide.
Wow, this is incredible. They still have my money, no product, and if I didn't call, they would probably never say anything and kept the money.
I call this company a bunch of thieves!

On line orders can not be canceled after 30 minutes
Make an after hours other with "Dics Sporting Goods" online. Realized after making the order it was not the product I needed. I then attempted to cancel the order. I received a pending cancellation number. I called first thing the next morning only to be told the order could not be canceled.
The order was made after hours, called in within the hour to canceled, even though the order had not been processed. This is poor business practice.
I was hung up on by a person, Corinthia, not sure of spelling, she refused to spell it and refused to allow me to speak to someone else. Very rude, I'm in the medical field, if I treated people like this I would not have a job.
Horrible customer service. I ordered sunglasses from a location in California, 2 hours from my house on the 8th. It shipped from that location, was sent across the country to Geogia, then to me in Las Vegas. Almost 2 week delivery for a 2 hour drive. I contacted customer service, and they were like oh well. I will never buy from Dicks again.
Good experience with Dick's. Order came quickly and was packaged very well. If I need something, I would order again at this store.
Bought a treadmill online on black Friday for a Christmas gift. Order started would be delivered by Dec 13th. Chatted with Dick's about when to expect delivery and they stated it was on it's way for a 13th delivery. Product never arrived and contacted Dick's again who stated they would contact delivery company. Never heard back from Dick's so I called them back to find out company said there was an email from delivery company that it was out for delivery that day from 11am to 3pm, good thing I was home however, no treadmill showed. Called Dick's back and they said they couldn't do anything because it was the weekend and they would call me Monday by 10am. No call was received so I called them, finally Dec 23, they state that treadmill was showing as delivered to an address in Michigan, I'm in Maryland. So I ask that they just refund my money. It is now Dec 28 and my refund is still in process which I don't understand as I have no treadmill and no money back. I should start charging them interest. This is by far the worst online experience ever. You would think they would care about delivering good service when you spend $800 on an order but apparently not.

NIKITA Is absolutely a superstar, she is extremely knowledgeable of the apparel and all of the items in the store, she has retained in her head where items are on the shelf, She was extremely helpful to me with my shopping needs. NIKITA Really does bring her (A)game.
Not sure how they are still in market. All goods are expensive. You get everything cheaper online. The good thing is the store is well organized.
I recently went to Dicks Sporting Goods for more golf equipment for my lefty son. I was able to get a really good lefty driver for under $200.00 this was fifty percent off the list price on a holiday weekend. They also honored the coupon I had which made the price even better. I also buy shoes for my kids and send it to them, if you do it in store shipping is free.
Sales people are very helpful. If they do not have the specific item you want in store. They will go online with you to get it. Or they will recommend you to another store such as Golf Galaxy. I have bought stuff recently for my son who is a lefty golfer. Not always easiest thing to get. However, when Dicks did not have the item online or in store. They sent me to Golf Galaxy (which they own) and they priced matched the item to the sale price.
My husband and I have bought a lot of things at Dicks and haven't had any bad experiences at all. They carry all the good brands and all the camping gear and clothes you need. The service is very good on returning itemsAnd customer service is very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend dicks
It's a trusted genuine sports gear store where anyone can bought their favorite sports products. But its prices are little bit high than other competitive stores.
I purchased a gift card at a store near me and mailed it in a card as a gift to my nephew. When I brought it to the post office it was supposed to have a tracking number on it but did not realize they didn't do this. When I called my nephew to follow up if he had received the card and told me he did not, I was very upsetting to me that this it happened as well as that the post office did not put a tracking number on it as well. I called Dick's four different times and got the runaround even though I gave them the gift card number that the store uses for logging their gift cards. I was told four different times that they would give it to the gift card member department and it takes 24 to 48 hours and they would contact me back. On the last call I asked to speak to a manager only to be told that I would have to contact the store back which the store told me I had to contact Dick's Sporting Goods. I was told by the previous customer people that I spoke with at Dick's Sporting Goods that they would be able to issue me a new card if it was not already used. They would be able to look up the card with the numbers I gave them from the store if the card was used or not. I spoke to a manager tonight and was told they could not reissue or lookup a card purchased at another store! I will never purchase or step foot in a Dick's store ever again to make a purchase. It should NOT have taken 4 follow up phone calls from me to see what the status was on the card. Customer service gives you the run around and there is a lack of communication within Dick's on their policies. Nobody is held accountable for not calling the customer back. Ridiculous and unacceptable to any customer. I will shop elsewhere that knows how to resolve and treat their customer complaints fairly.
Last week I ordered Sole Treadmill for 999,99 and a week later they have it for 899,99 I hadn't received it as yet and called them to get reimbursed for the difference. They would not honor my request. To all you buyers out there make sure you look for the product else where. And make sure you know all policies on returns and if they drop prices make sure you can get the credit back
Bought a schwinn bike here - great bike and great service - excellent experience in this store - in Jefferson city Missouri! Highly recommend going to Dicks sporting goods! Will return for future purchases!
So, I am changing my review because Dicks more than made up for my bad experience. The item arrived and they've bent over backwards to make up for the mix ups. I'll shop Dicks again for sure.
My original review: I Ordered twice, both times items did not arrive. I suppose they never shipped. STAY AWAY FROM DICKS!
Was sent a clearly repackaged item from Dicks: old glue still on the package, literally covering it. Looking through the plastic container, a clearly broken item in it. Clearly no quality control nor pride in their work at Dicks. I'd stay away, especially if your item is for a gift at the holidays... chances are the item will be repackage return from another dissatisfied customer.
I ordered a treadmill for over $800. Got an email telling me when it would be delivered on that day nothing showed up. I called Dick's to find out their shipping company (AIT) had not even picked it up. Over a week later I get a email saying I need to set up a delivery call and AIT tells me they could not set it up as I was out of area or something like that. I called Dick's their customer service supervisors were no help sounding like a broken record until I told them to cancel the order. I thought I would just have to wait for my money to be credited back to me when 2 days later I get another email from AIT to set up delivery. Mad now I call Dick's customer service again and the order had yet to be cancelled and their manager goes back into being a broken record saying he under stands. Both companies are TOTALLY INCOMPETENT. If I could rate them a 0 i would
After the first trip to buy a fishing pole it all went down hill. The tip eyelet of the pole was broken two weeks later she can't find the pole and may not be able to give me a complete refund. Then she ordered one for me. They send their poles in single layer cardboard. The box comes bent in half, the pole is broken into three pieces and Even the Rod was broken in three pieces! I bring that back to get another combo set. All was well for about two weeks, and then the reel flip lever breaks. Now for whatever reason I exchanged that one too. I just pulled the new combo out... to find that the reel is missing a very important knob. I am done. I would advise you do not purchase fishing gear from Dicks.
A bit pricey on the fishing tackle. Also, sales agents not that competent about fishing locally in Orlando. This store is located at 350 Towne Center Cir, Sanford, FL *******.
Answer: No doubt that Dicks Sporting Goods is the real deal.
