Complete Scam

Placed a business order for 50
Items. Promised ship date was 2/17. Then vendor pushed ship date to 2/24 without my approval, then said it shipped on 3/1. Asked for tracking multiple times and never received tracking. Finally after me pressuring them, they sent a fed x number dated 3/18. The boxes to date (4/2) have never been received by FedX. I have requested refund from DH gate and vendor with Zero response. Finally received boxes on 4/19.38 of the 50 items were broken and they are counterfeit. I contacted dh gate immediately and as of 4/25, they have not responded. So, dh gate refused to cancel order or issue refund after multiple requests after items were not shipped or received on time, 75% of the items were received broken, 2.5 months after ordered, and product is not what I ordered, it is counterfeit. I asked company 2 times before I placed the order of these were the item advertised and real. They responded they were an authorized dealer and products were legit.

The Start and stop buttons for timer on the watch do not work. Seller continues to sell broken watches to consumers and DHgate platform is no help in getting a refund as it is a sellers favor platform. Seller offered a refund of.01, The seller and DHgate should be ashamed of bad business practices. The seller will still be able to con consumers in buying broken items and DHgate mediation will continue to be in the best interest of the seller. We are appalled that it does not matter what evidence we provide DHgate, as the seller will still make a profit selling broken items on the DHgate platform.

BEWARE OF DHGATE MEDITATION PROCESS and sellers scamming you. If you purchased an item and received the wrong item, the seller will tell you in order to get a refund you have to ship the item back and once the item is received then your money would be returned. When you ship the item back to China and it makes it to China Customs Department, the seller will not pay the tax for the item to be released to them. So in-turn, you will be out of the shipment cost and the item you shipped. DHGATE DOES NOT HONOR THEIR GURANTEE OF HAVING THE SELLER PAY FOR SHIPPING AFTER BOTH THE SELLER AND BUYER HAVE AGREED TO THE MEDIATION STAGE. BEWARE. In addition, if your item states that it was delivered, but you haven't recieved your package due to it possibly being scanned as deliverered prematurely by the courier or delivered to the wrong address, DHGATE will always side with the seller and disregard your request. Your money would still be released to the seller and you are without an item. Dont waste your time with DHGATE meditation. If I were you, take precaution and play the games that DHGATE does with your time and money. Read between the lines.

I have had a truly annoying experience. I placed 3 orders. All of them were delivered very late. All of them were of atrocious quality. When I tried to return the items despite providing evidence although not sure what evidence I could provide considering the items had not arrived they closed the cases. I provided evidence showing poor quality once they arrived and then they agreed I could return one item but the seller refused to issue a return label or address. I will NEVER use this website again.

I got scammed!

I ordered 3 items, a bag and glasses. The bag was $30 and the glasses were $20, and shipping was $9. After not receiving the items for 3 weeks, they sent me a message saying it was delivered. You cannot reach these people. They give you options which are not appropriate. I was scammed. The worst company to buy from, other than Fashion Nova.

Steel your money

This seller is a thief and dishonest. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! I never received my package and they refused to give me my money back. Also DHgate did NOT help me with my issue, they did nothing. So basically I'm out of my money. Will NEVER shop at DHgate again!

Still waiting for my order 6 months later

I ordered a backpack off the sight it was a sugaeo one i may have spelled wrong but I paid 50.00 for it and it never came. Tracking said the order arrived but it did not. I was home and watching. So I let customer service know and guess what... nothing... crickets. Lol 10/10 don't recommend!

DHGate is a fraudulent operation at best. I ordered a product that the vendor, slimming_salon, guaranteed as authentic and was confirmed counterfeit. I requested a refund and disputed the charge with them. I submitted about a dozen photos and 2 videos of the issue regarding the item I received. I also provided photos of the authentic item I thought I was receiving to show the difference between what I received and the real item. They were unwilling to hear my dispute through and kept asking for more photos and videos of evidence to support my case. Their representative also accused me of not knowing what I was ordering and that I was an uneducated buyer, yet I was mission shopping. Ultimately, DHGate never intended to provide a refund and looked the other way when I suggested they were supporting a counterfeiter. Further, once the dispute took effect the seller, slimming_salon, suddenly ran out of inventory and stopped selling the counterfeit item. I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE anyone who reads this review to think twice before shopping at DHGate, there are many better alternatives, or just flush your money down the toilet. DHGate is running a backdoor operation and protects counterfeiters. They do not represent buyers and when you look at other reviews you will find many similar experiences to mine. This is a horrible organization and should be barred from selling in the US, if not the world. BUYER BEWARE!

Terrible customer service - avoid this vendor

There is no possibility of returning a product that does not meet your needs. I was sent the wrong size but they would not agree to me returning the shoes for a full refund. I provided all sorts of proof and was sent less than 20% of what I paid. Then silence. Not helpful. Avoid this company!

Enables crime!

Do not use DHgate they enable scammers to get away with ripping off their customers. For example (just one of the many times I've been ripped off by DHgate (I now no longer use them) I bought a $84.4 watch and was sent a completely different one. I opened a dispute and even though they acknowledged the evidence was accurate and my watch was indeed 100% different (the watch was awful and I couldn't/wouldn't ever wear it) I was only offered a $20 refund. So I now own a very ugly watch which I can never wear and paid $64.4 for the privilege. Most of my many other negative experiences on Dhgate (I went on a bit of a shopping spree at the beginning when first finding the site, sadly) were down to different items being sent or hugely inferior (to the images and listing) items being sent. DHgate's customer service is terrible and they completely back and enable their scam artist sellers (about 90% of the time) even when they have proof (sellers even admitted it and you have screenshots etc) to prove their lies and deceptions. The agents dealing with disputes never reply to emails and messages and you will not get any help or support there. DHgate backs crime and even worse, profits from it. They have no reason to support their poor buyers when they are already making a killing though their deliberately deceptive platform.

My advice would be to never use this site (not once), and use Alibaba or Aliexpress instead. I'm not saying they are perfect, but they are better than the fraudulent DHgate.

Below is the watch I ordered and the watch I received. The face on the original is green and the face on the one sent was grey. The rest of the differences are quite obvious.

I had ordered two special edition controllers which celebrate Chinese New Year from two separate sellers for 8Bitdo. One seller provides me with a tracking number then I get a message saying item is out of stock would I like some cheapo substitute controller and I said no but I never saw that message so they claimed they already shipped it. So then the item gets delivered to some address in Maine and not NY where I am located. DHGate closes it out as received although I opened a case saying it wasnt and was misdelivered. Seller then tells me they had the wrong tracking number and its on its way, so I am unable to get a refund. Second seller also ships my item to wrong address in NY and i did provide again the correct shipping address. Seller also said the item was out of stock and shipped me a substitute I did not want and not even close in the value for what I paid for the item I wanted. I NEVER Told the seller I wanted the substitute but yet they supposedly shipped it. I opened up a dispute asking for a refund and the seller is fighting me over it. Has declined my request twice for a refund I am still being told to wait for DHGate to get involved. I have provided photo proof of my address being one thing and the tracking information showing it was delivered to another town with another zip code. SCAM Artists stay away. I am working with my bank to reverse these charges but that is also slow going. Wont ever order again and I URGE you to do the same do not order from DHGate.

You may or may not receive your item and there is nothing you can do about it. I never received two items that were intended to be Christmas gifts. I ordered a month in advance and never received. When I went to the tracking app, it stated that it had been delivered and if I wanted to file a dispute, it had to be within 24 hours at the post office. Due to many factors, including the fact that I am scheduled for surgery in less than 24 hours, I was not able to go to the post office, so I am just out the money spent.

SELLER SCAMMED ME AND I CANT UPLOAD EVIDENCE TO THE DISPUTE HE SENT ME AN EMPTY PAPER THIN ENVELOPE AND LIKE IF IT WAS OPEN VERY TRICKY SELLERS ON THIS SITE BUT 120$ BAG CANT FIT IN A THIN ENVELOPE! Scammers! I HOPE YOU ALL DIE IN HELL! SUPPORT IS AWFUL AS WELL THE DISPUTE CENTER IS NON EXISTING CANT UPLOAD EVIDENCE!NO ONLINE AGENT STAY AWAY FROM THEM! So here's how you play the game you go on the website called dhgate it looks legit you hear all the rave reviews about oh it's a legitimate company people asking should I buy from them yes yes it's just a regular old copy like eBay and Amazon so you pay your money and you get the first email that says your stuff is late because of the pandemic you're going to get your stuff late and then one week goes by 2 weeks go by a month ago is by 2 months go by 3 months go by if you're lucky and I say lucky you'll get a box that'll be empty but at least they got the box to you you just you just got played with the game dhgate what a fun game pay your money and get ripped off and look at the reviews all the reviews that are saying nobody got their stuff they got the run around there was no tracking number customer service is non-existent everything's automated response you going circles on trying to file a dispute or refund nobody ever answers you sorry but you just lost the dhgate game

Purchased two jackets that came in the wrong size. It is impossible to resolve the problem with both the seller and DHgate. Round and round in circles. They have set up their site so that filing a complaint is impossible. Buyer Beware! Not worth the aggravation. Buy local

Can't get in touch

I ordered 140 sneakers for my son. Tried several times payment would not go through I even tried another card. I have 800 plus credit score it wasn't on my end. I got several emails awaiting payment or they would cancel. I finally got an email cancelling order. American Express wants payment I have disputed this situation 3 times. The order was cancelled and I never received sneakers. The company sent paper work saying the order number is different than cancelled order. I can't get help, I don't have sneakers but they want 140. The order was cancelled I have the email. I believe it's a scam, they change order number figuring I would not pursue that amount to ruin my credit. There's even a tracking info page saying we got them. I didn't!
