What a disaster
July 24, 2018

After 10 days I asked what the story is and found that they couldn't find the money. After chatting for more than an hour the money was on some account and waiting to be transferred to the "real" account. Unfortunately they didn't change my money to US$ and so it came because the exchange rate changed I was a few cent short. So they couldn't release the money and wanted me to pay a few cent, - - - I cancelled the deal. Now the other problem is that they don't want to know anything about paying back the amount, so the disaster trade is not finished.
I'm just wonder how they get some good reviews. I checked this and found Holly S. Submitted 21 reviews on the 16. 7. 18 and all of them 5-star - - - - don't wonder

I took a camera watch with order number *******. The product delivered to me as broken. I talked with seller and i said i want to return them. The seller told to me that you give the product to cargo, when reached on his hand, he will ship a new product or he will get back my money. But in my country there is no counter-pay shipping system for abroad. So
I had to pay shipping cost. I explained this situation to the seller and seller said to me that he will send the shipping cost. Wihtin this aggrement i shipped the product and reached to seller. Order was cancelled and product cost was sent. But the cargo fee was not sent to me. I reported this to the DHGate customer solution center. They told me that I had to give me proof or offer how much I wanted to pay. I sent an invoice telling me the shipping charge and I said the full charge. But the DHGate customer center closed the record I opened for this issue. I re-registered for the same situation and it was closed again. Did not refund my fee.

These people are the WORST. First they cancel my order for unknown reasons with no notifications what so ever. When i tried to resolve this issue & their customer service was slow, uninformed and rude. Then they told me that my account was on hold for credit card verification. Which is messed up because they should have verified my card through the first purchase i made. Not the 10th. So i follow their prompts to the letter. Even providing a picture of my face with my card. And after being ignored for almost a full TWO DAYS of messaging with no reply what so ever, they turn around and claim i never sent them my information. These people have taken my credit information, asked for pitures with sensitive information on it ( which i declined and only sent pictures without my cards cvv) and are now telling me that i never gave them any information. Im extremely worried now that my card will be frauded by this company. I would advise EVERYONE to stay clear of this company as it's shady dealings have left me with fear for my personal information being used half way across the world by a chinese company that isn't willing to help you actually resolve your issues. I have pictures if anyone wishes to see them before i bring this to my lawyer. I feel as though i should take legal action before they are able to fraud my account.

Please contact your card issuing bank to check in their reversal system whether there is a refund record from China in USD. If not, please request your card issuing bank to contact (VISA/AMEX/MASTERCARD) to check the record.

It also seems that our Safety Center made some limitations on your account, so there's no option to pay for the order using a credit card.

I returned this item, Express Mail, as I was not happy with product, to provided address. Apparently, it was not delivered or picked up by chinese mail and the item was just returned to me.
After spending over $400 for wheels and $90 for return, I got screwed out of my money either way.
Not happy at all and please, if you're in the US or Europe, do not buy these type of things from China. In the likely event you want to return them, you can just as well forget about your money and get stuck with something you don't want. Very unhappy!

CHEATERS

I paid $50 in FEB 2018 for products which I never received till date JULY 2018. Consistent follow up with seller was useless. Registered a complaint through chat and email but nothing worked. Funny customer service, they want us to contact the seller for refund. How can DHGate release payment when the customer order is not delivered? When they have the authority to release our payment I surprised they want us to contact seller for resolution. Then why do you have a customer service in place? The buyers can directly deal with the sellers. DHGate is not able to resolve this $50 issue and Im not sure how they will manage bigger disputes. Seems like not only the seller cheat here but also DHGate itself is a scam. I had posted the review in the product page but no resolution. Multiple follow up with the customer care but a useless message telling to contact the seller and no other solutions. Very very very disappointed. I will never suggest this site for anyone and if anyone is using this site I will straight forward inform them not to rely. I will keep posting this review everywhere possible until I get a solution for the dispute.

NEVER BUY

Unfortunately this website is not reliable. Before ordering a dress, I asked for delivery time and payed extra fees for express shipping. Not only did I receive not receive anything. 1 month later they sent me an empty bag with a sticker on it saying wedding dress.
They ignore messages and decline refund request. This company basically stole 136$ USD.

The return policy advertised is a deceiving tool.
I returned a watch to CHINA with their promise they will reimburse me the shipping cost $15.44.
After a long review and excessive questions and requirements, they decided no to pay me the shipping. Unacceptable. They lie with the ad 24 ×7 Customer Service. DHGATE protect their sellers. THEY dont honor WHAT THEY ADVERTISE.SO THEY GOT AWAY WITH $15.44

Order was fraudulent, Went to arbitration and 2 months of useless emails and they will not give my money back. Take days to respond and online help is useless.
First time using and the last. Bought 100s of items with ebay and amazon with no problems and great customer service.

However, the return tracking number was not uploaded within 7 days since the seller uploaded the return shipping address. In this case, the dispute was released and closed.

For your future reference, please do return the item and upload the necessary documents within the time frame specified so that the dispute will be resolved successfully. The bridesmaid dresses were not at all like the picture on the site. The delivery was on time. The dresses are unworthy even for the girl's Costume.

They will not issue a refund and will not send another pair of sneakers.

Presumably due to the review at sitejabber DHGate wrote a nice answer for the audience but they did not follow up with my problem. Thus, the conclusion remains the same avoid DHGate at all costs - no support or even respect for the valued customer.
However sitejabber is a great tool for the people - keep the good work and give us a handle against malicious traders!

The worse online shopping (fake) site ever! They sent the wrong item and it didn't fit, so I put in for a refund. Which I had to take a picture of the product and send to them before the dispute could open. They agreed to the refund and seller pay shipping but you initially have to pay. The shipping was like $100! The item was $50. I just took the loss I wouldn't dare trust them to send me all that money

I placed an order for around $200, The order went through and they took my money. After a little while I received an email that they put a hold on my order and the only way to have the order go through was to send them front and back pictures of my credit card and my passport. I refused but the then they refused to return my money and when I contacted them three times they refused to respond. STAY AWAY!

*Update*
I sent in some information though nothing that would compromise my identity which is what they wanted. I gave them a deadline to process my order or to refund my money. They gave me two days to submit my documents so I gave them two days to accept them. The two days came and went and I told them to cancel my order. A couple days later they accepted my document and processed my order even though I told them and the seller to cancel my order.
*This is a very untrustworthy site!

First off let me start by saying Im not one to usually give reviews but this experience is just not acceptable! Word of advice: DONT ORDER FROM DHGATE. I ordered braiding hair from Dhgate & it took forever for it to arrive. Once I received it I noticed it wasnt what I expected so I contacted the seller. The seller immediately asked: Can we negotiate? I simply asked for a full refund & everything went downhill from there. That was a month ago & I have yet to receive my refund. I have gone above & beyond to get the merchandise back to the seller immediately & sent all evidence as requested proving the seller isnt telling the truth with what they received & its still been weeks. Ive always gotten supervisor Manny & analyst Susan involved & still no refund. Then when you chat online Mae had the nerve to offer for me to purchase other items while Im waiting for the dispute to be taken care of. YOU REALLY THINK ID LIKE TO PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM YOUR COMPANY. I am beyond disgusted with the customer service with this company. Also if you do choose to order from Dhgate be sure to order sonething super cheap.

Stealing
July 2, 2018

I had a terrible experience with DHgate from beginning to the end. No matter how you return it you still will lose money. To ship it back cost me more than the original payment. I finally got refund what I pay for the product, but they haven't refunded me the shipment expenses. ( seller agrees to pay for shipping). They give me credit to my account, but I cannot use that money until I transfer more money to my account. No matter what you do, they will screw you one way or another. Customer service is terrible, you need to chat with 10 reps before you get one who cares and wants to help. Each chat and waiting on hold ( you have 8-9 people in front of you) takes at least 40 mins, count how much time you waste. I lost a lot of money with this company. It was my first buy and the last.
