Ordered wedding dress on 5-3-14. They charged my credit card 2x and then canceled my order. Scam scam do not buy from this company. Wish I found this review site before I ordered. Fat chance of getting my money back, SCAM!

Ordered a power supply for a 50'' plasma tv, we received one for a 42'' and it was different from the one shown in the website. They say they will issue a refund, however I would have to send item and pay for return shipping, all the way to China!

100% Guaranteed Returns is what they advertise. IT IS A LIE! Ordered product and was sent a product that was not even close to the pictures or description on the website. Tried to send it back and instead had to go through a lengthily "dispute process" where I go back and forth with the seller who tries to make partial refunds offers. This was a pain because each offer/refused offer/re-offer takes days. I think the want you to give up. After the "mandatory negotiate with seller period" I could finally escalate the dispute to DHGate who asked for evidence. Their website times out and fails to upload evidence. The mail bounces and is rejected, and their "online chat" function does not work reliably to talk to anyone. (about 30% of what you type makes it to the rep). After fighting their bad website and getting enough info across to escalate the claim they promised to resolve the issue by the middle of April. A week into May and they still had not settled it. Finally I log on to find they have sent an in system message (they did not email me) and gave 3 days notice to provide additional "evidence" or they would close the case. They will try to delay you past 60 days in hopes you don't or can't open a fraud case with your credit card in time. No I'm processing a claim through my credit card. DONT ORDER FROM DHGate!

As to date I have not received the prom dress I ordered for my daughter. Her prom is May 24th, today is May 16. It says it'shipped as of yesterday. I am very unhappy thus far with the service and I haven't even received the dress yet. I WISH I WOULD HAVE READ ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE THIS PURCHASE! I asked for the dress to ship ups, they sent it DHL... which takes longer. I will be coming back for further review once I receive the dress. I am hoping I can write a good review, but it's not looking good.

I ordered three gowns from different manufacturers for a wedding. The gowns I got were completely wrong colors... all three of them. OK, Coral can be tricky but I specifically contacted the seller to let them know that Orange or Pink would not work. It could not have been more pumpkin orange if they tried. It was hideous, but well made and shipped quickly. I ordered Navy and got sky blue... waaaaay off. The dress looked NOTHING like the photo, in fact I am pretty sure they pulled the wrong dress but I can't get them to listen or check. The last was white! How hard is it to get a white dress correct? Nope, it's a light silver, definitely not white. They seem to have a strong refund policy, but YOU have to PROVE you are not happy and they shipped the WRONG color and then they simply respond with declined. No explanation, no proposal for a solution,... just declined. It's endless so I just reversed the charge. Unless you want headaches and hassles I would NEVER recommend this site for any sales. Sad, though... because shipping was fast and prices were a bargain.

I received obviously counterfeit goods from jiaqi4634 retailer at this site. In spite of this and proof of it DHGATE still has the premium merchant logo up on the seller's site. Mediation went over a week past their own promised date for a decision and leaves me with the obligation to prove I shipped the fake product back. All wasting my time and money with no negative feedback for the seller as a sale was never completed!

THE RETAILER CONTIUNES TO MAINTAIN A FALSE IMPRESSION OF BEING LEGIT!

SCAM SCAM SCAM AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

This online website is really bad service. If you buy stuff from here and ask for refund, there's no hope. They will never refund your money. Another thing is, they don't do what they promised. All they do is lied to you to solve the problem. Never buy thing from here again. I am saying this base on my experience. Very disappointed with the service and the seller. Stay Away from this website.

This has been the worst possible experience ever. The dress I received is made of cheap, crappy material and looks NOTHING like the picture. I have waited a month for a response to get a refund and NOBODY cares enough to respond. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS SCAM. Seriously this is just a scam and you will be sorry for wasting your money like I did.

Purchased a dress for my granddaughter to wear as flower girl in my son's wedding. The pictures and review of the dress were great so I took and chance and ordered it. What I received was a 6th grade sewing project gone bad. Not only was the dressed stained it was partly put together with a hot glue gun. I immediately contact DHgate who asked me to deal with the seller directly first. The seller was refusing to give me a full response. So i contacted DHgate who opened a dispute claim in March when we contacted them. We received no response until April 12th asking us to return the dress to the seller. We have just learned that they closed my dispute and released payment to this vender even though they had about 15 pictures of a stained glued dress. Unbelievable.

Awful site to do business with, bought 5 bathing suits almost 2 months ago and still haven't received a thing, couldn't even get in touch with a single live person to check on the status of my order. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! Worst nightmare just as everyone has already stated in the forums below... My best advice is to make a claim with your bank! Most banks give you up to 50 days to make a claim with them and they refund your money immediately and go after the company for the money instead, nothing like a little "slap in the face" to give this company some karma they deserve!(;

Very bad customer service and products.
I ordered my prom dress which was a replica of the tarik edi ******* and it was terrible! The stiching and tailoring was horrid. And the bottem of the dress looked like bed sheets. I advise everyone to stay away from dhgate and also in particular the seller hon_esty as they are anything but honest.
At the moement im trying to get a refund but im being ignored so i would advise everyone to stay away unless you want to end up in my situation.

They have been holding a shipment up for weeks because we refused to send a photo copy of our credit card showing security # thru an unprotected email. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE. Still waiting for a refund that will never come. We have talked to a lot of US buyers and all got scammed for $1000. Everything on their site is COUNTERFEIT GOODS. Don't sell their items on ebay

Go to the Better Business Bureau to submit a complaint, and they will refer you to a website where you can file a complaint against businesses from other countries. I figure its got to be better than just writing online reviews. You can find the number for dhgate on their website when you click contact us. The more information we provide with the complaint the better!
I ordered a dress from them on 2/22/14 and after a few weeks I sent the seller a message and asked why it hadn't shipped yet. I never got a response. On 3/13/14 my dress finally shipped, but the tracking number was invalid. It said my order would arrive in 7-12 business days, and when it didn't I sent the seller another message asking for a valid tracking number. When I didn't get a response again I sent a message to customer service. They responded several days later letting me know that my tracking number was indeed invalid and that I should report it. Their message was only sent to my dh account, so I only found out that they had responded when I logged in again to see if there were any changes. By the time that I tried to report the invalid tracking number, it had been more than 45 days since my order shipped so I couldn't. I have since requested a refund, but after reading these reviews, I'm not too hopeful. I will keep fighting though, and I think everyone needs to do what they can to report them and spread the word. Don't let them get away with taking advantage of us!

I ordered a pageant dress and supplied the measurements. Dress came, but was 3 inches shorter than promised. Seller said it was too late for replacement and couldn't I have a tailor fix it. I asked how? I don't have material to match! They offered to send me some fabric... really? Like sewing a band on the bottom of the dress would fix things. I asked for refund and ordered a replacement elsewhere. After 5 days, per DHGate policy, I issued the dispute. Seller wanted me to pay to return, I saw no reason for me to pay out of my pocket for something not in my control. After 3 weeks, DHgate just informed me they'd released payment to seller as I should have disputed within 7 days. Their stated policy does not list a deadline.

I give this site a one because there is not a lower rating. This site is run by a bunch of crooks. I ordered from 7 different sellers. Three products were nice but 2 never sent and I cannot seem to get my money back just a run around the other two were a huge rip off, products very subpar. I think the US customs department should shut them down and not allow them to do business on the internet it is fraud

This website is absolutely terrible and unprofessional. I ordered my prom dress from here took almost 30 days to get here. Turned out looking nothing like the picture. It looked like a half done job. I honestly thought about throwing it away. It was stiff and wasn't even the size I told them I wanted. Never order anything from here. I better get my money back!

ABSOLUTE ROGUES. ORDERED A DRESS IN BROWN ASKING FOR A HIGH NECK. RECEIVED A REVOLTING HOT PINK DRESS WITH V AT FRONT STARTING ABOVE MY NAVEL. TOOK FOUR MONTHS AND DOZENS OF EMAILS TO GET A REFUND OF MY MONEY. DESPITE THEIR WEBSITE PROMISES, SAYING THAT A FULL REFUND WILL BE ISSUED IF THE PRODUCT RECEIVED IS SIGNIFICANTLY DIFFERENT FROM THAT WHICH IS ORDERED. I WAS FORCED TO PAY RETURN POSTAGE OF $45 AU THEN THEY TOOK OUT $15 US IN FEES TO GET THE PITIFUL REMAINDER OF MY MONEY BACK. THE ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. STAY WELL CLEAR.
