I ordered what was supposed to be a Berta wedding dress (order # *******712) and when I got it, it was nothing like advertised. It was an imitation, and a really bad one! If you aren't going to send a berta bridal dress, then do not post a picture taken by the Berta company and send a POS dress to a customer! The material was cheap and the beading and embellishments looked like they came out of a child's quarter machine at a dive restaurant. I had also waited nearly three months for this item and ended up having to buy a completely different dress on top of what I paid for this one. I contacted the seller to make sure I had the proper address to send this dress back to and paid $35 to mail it. After this, I have still not heard a peep out of the seller OR the umbrella company of DHGate themselves. I have completely been scammed. Oh and their customer service live chat is a joke... it is not live. It is a computer! There is no customer service number to call so you're pretty much SOL. I should have heeded the warning of reviews I saw before ordering from this site. I am pretty sure the positive reviews are from people who have been paid to leave them on there. I am furious and have contacted my lawyer simply out of principle! If they do not resolve this, and I mean ASAP, they will be paying a lot more than my refund and shipping! So tired of this!
I sent this company an Instant Message from their website when I panicked & thought my wedding dress would be too small... they got back to me in minutes & also continued to respond pleasantly & promptly when questions about shipping arose... i received my wedding dress yesterday & its it's more gorgeous than the picture on the website... this is a $2000 dress I got for $200 bucks

Ordered two jerseys and never got either of them. We initially entered the wrong shipping address. When we changed it they sent us an email saying it was successfully changed, but never actually changed it. The address is still wrong and I'm never going to get my order. Their "online chat" is useless. You get in contact with a robot that just recommends questions for you and refers you to someone to email. They're phone number brings you up to some freaking Japanese or Mandarin speaking recording that doesn't help you. How the crap am I supposed to interact with that? DHGate: I better get my money back.
DHGate is not worth for shopping they are waste of time... don't ever buy from this site. They don't fulfill commitments and their support staff are very unfriendly and very bad waste of time. I suggest buy from thier competitor, they are the best
This is my 2nd review I am writing only because I was scammed twice! The first review I wrote, I complained about how horrible this company is. Someone from dhgate contacted me and said they would help me resolve my issue if I sent the dress back. I agreed to ship the dress back to the seller and not only do I not have the dress anymore, they still have not refunded my money PLUS now they have the dress as well AND my $27 it cost me to ship back to China! This has been the worst retail experience of my life and all I can do now is tell others about my experience so that they will not make the same mistake with this company. I wish there is some way they could be sued for false advertising and in the mean time I will report to the BBB. Whoever comes across this review, please please please take heed. Look at the numerous 1 star reviews.

I ordered things and woke up to check on it today and it took me back to start all over dhgate.com I want to know if it's shipping or not so i can refund my money now
I am still waiting for my reimbursement for shipping costs. I had to send a defective product back to the shipper in China and was told I would be reimbursed as soon as the receiver had the package... fast forward to today. I still do not have the $247.40 in my dhpay account (cost I paid to ship a broken product back to the seller), but I have $26 that was deposited into my account by the seller! $26! Is this a joke? Haven't I waited long enough to be compensated, I have been waiting since April! April! I was not able to pay for the product I ordered in installments. So why is the seller allowed to pay me, whatever amount they want to, on their own time table? Terrible, horrible business acumen! Stay far away from dhgate.com!

This company obviously loves to charge people twice for one order. I read many reviews on here that claim a day of charge them twice. It was a simple $20 order, but now that they've decided to charge us twice we are now in the negative in our bank account. We have contacted our bank to dispute it but the second transaction is still pending if it goes through our bank is going to cancel it. We will be contacting this company in hopes that they will settle this matter and if they do not our bank will settle it for us. Warning to all future customers, shop someplace else.

I ordered a pair of Jordan's from "meety" who's a supplier through dhgate. Now the sneaker was listed as 100% authentic with receipt, photos showed the real deal. Now I'm not naive to think I'll get real deal for 54.00 bucks but I figured maybe they're pretty close to it, I received the package about a week or so later, opened It up and boy was I not impressed, really bad knockoffs. Nothing like the photos. So I contact "meety" and explain that they're false advertising and such, they're giving me a hard time saying they're replicas etc. they went as far as changing they're listing to no longer saying 100% authentic and they removed all photos and put a photo of the knockoffs. Lucky for me, the completion section of the app shows the original posting. So I called my credit card company and reported. I'll never buy from them again. When you think somethings too good to be true, it usually is! Now if you're into knockoffs then go for it!

I ordered a prom dress for my daughter. On may 13th. It is June 29th... still waiting for the dress. I requested a refund several times and they refused to give me a refund! The seller then said I had to go back through the website to do so. The website locked my account from requesting a refund! I will NEVER use this website again!

I was looking for a specific davids bridal dress. And found it sold by wedding irs on dhgate.com. So I ordered my dress. When it came in after 2 months the fabric was wrong and the dress. Did not fit. I went to customer service and customer service tells you to contact the seller. So I contacted the seller. They said they would fix the dress and when I ordered my sisters dress they would both match. Well I ordered my sisters dress. It came in, and just like the first dress the fabric did not match and the dress was too small. At the at point the seller stopped responding to me. So I went to customer service Wichita was a joke they tell you to open a dispute which you cannot do on the website. Then they say you waited to long. Even though I sent them pictures and the screen shots I took showing how many times I tried to contact the seller. Now I have dresses that cannot be worn. And no resolve.

Ordered a teapot... took about three weeks to deliver, but considering distance, China Post, and US Postal Service I consider that to be pretty good. Also, I always use PayPal whenever possible. They pay the merchant, I don't.

I placed an order for a dress and paid the extra fee for faster shipping within 4 days. I continued to try to reach hdgate for confirmation of item arrival with out success. I was not able to get a response with a specific arrive date. I messaged customer help and their responses where a cut and pace list o questions to ask. I was asking a question! "When will the dress arrive?" I was unsuccessful in obtaining an answers. I continued to check the account and it continued to say Pending. I finally had to cancel the order. That same day I cancelled the order via a message... I received a response within seconds! Their response stated they would not cancel the order because the order had now been processed and no refund would be given to me. What! Up until I sent the cancel message the account was still pending! How did it then change to processed? Well now they are claiming no refund. The item has not been mailed out, cancel the order and refund the money. I would not suggest buying from this company! Lack of communication, did not fulfill order in time frame EVEN though I paid the extra fee. No way of communicating verbally AND I was billed before the product was delivered to me. Usually, you receive your item and once it's delivered your account is billed. Do not buy from this company and avoid the frustration!

You cannot communicate with this company, no phone, no live chat. They do not answer emails. I had my credit card used to buy from their sight, tried to get the orders stopped which was difficult but they said they did, did they said they did not, then they kept my money. Dishonest company.

I ordered a cream colored country dress and received a white puffy nightmare. Getting a refund is a nightmare. Please do not buy from this company, it's a scam. I am reporting this to the BBB. If you see any good reviews it was probably entered by the supplier of this Chinese crap. DO NOY BUY ANY OF THIS CRAP. NOT WORTH IT!

My daughter order a lavender prom dress. It came in PEPTO BISMOL PINK! Not only did I have to cover the expense to sent it back to Singapore but its like pulling teeth to get a refund.

Please please please, i cant urge you enough not to buy, shocking service, I recieved a different item to pictured which i had paid over £100 for, sent it back as requested for a refund after sending photos, sent it recorded at a cost of £60, listed the tracking as requested immediately through the link they provided and they denied ever getting the tracking details and refused my refund. The tracking shows it was recieved and signed for but they still deny it, I checked with parcelforce who confirm it has been recieved but they deny it has been recieved. Month on, still no refund, online chat is no help, dont bother, they also lie and say they cannot see the tracking, nothing shows their end! I even had the excuse they couldnt issue a refund as there was a festival in the town! I cant beg you enough dont ever visit this site, do not spend a penny. I have my own business and actually considered a wholesale account, thank god i didnt! I have found better sites, avoid at all costs
