DHGate as a site have been very great there top notch when it comes to customer service there always with the customer no matter what was the case is the only issue is the sellers in dhgate 99% are great to perfection even send u notification over your order transit and arrival. The 1% are just really bad when it comes to communication and cheats so beware of the 1%.
Ive been with Dhgate for almost 4 years and i have been purchasing a lot and only faced issues twice in my whole experience and they were solved.
I was lied to by a dispute team member "COCO". I was told from the dispute team "COCO", that because i had a bad experience with a seller, that the seller would give a 10% refund in my orders. I accepted the package under this lie,
I was never contacted again by the dispute team and never returned ANY emails.
Also, DHgate refuses to close my account.
This site is my main source for finding jewelry products for resale. It keeps getting better. Items take much less time to arrive than when I first started buying. Also, merchants are getting better with their descriptions, so that I don't need to correspond as often to clarify their offerings. My main issue remains a bit with things being labelled or stamped with 925 meaning that it is sterling silver. If it is not pure and just plated, it is lying to label it as such. Also, in most countries when someone says that something is solid silver or gold, it means that it is pure, not that it is durable. Things are definitely improving, otherwise I woyld have moved on long ago. Thank you for providing your service.
DHGate has to have option blocking seller, one time bad service and block hem, no worries, no stress, no waist time with bad seller. And second option sellers mistake seller upfront pay shipping back fee for own mistake, why buyer has to pay up front for seller mistake,
I have dealt with Dhgate for for around four years and up to a year ago I was pleased with the service I got.
I deal with four different Chinese companies all very similar.
Some sell for their selves others sell for other companies.
I have noticed that the latter who sell for other companies like Dhgate are giving more false tracking numbers.
They guarantee to send within two or three then give you a tracking number.
After a week or two they give you another tracking number which is the correct one so as to allow them more time for getting it to you.
My latest one with Dhgate the company that sold it to me insisted it was correct. Only when I explained that I had been in touch with China Post and they had told me in writing that it was a false tracking number did they do anything.
Dhgate gave me six dollar voucher to spend, so I believe they must have found them at fault to.
A week later I was given another tracking number this time for Singapore post at my insistence as my cousin works for them and I could cheque thoroughly.
All in all it took almost six weeks to get here. That was two weeks ago and I am arguing as it is a sat Navy which does not work.
What ever destination I put in it starts from the Bolshoi ballet in Moscow. So an eighteen mile journey turns into 2572 miles.
I have been arguing for two weeks and am now still waiting to see what is happening while it is supposed to be going to arbitration.
I have got that fed up I have given it to a local animal sanctuary shop to sell yesterday and gone out today and bought a similar one for about ten per cent more.
Other than the voucher and an item I have already on its way, I will not be dealing with Dhgate again.
I would suggest that Dhgate comes down heavily on these companies as they give them a bad name, not of their making.
In future I will be buying more at home and less from China.
The site is complicated and I could not find anything bad about DHGATE. Only good things. I bought from DHGATE many times, and never had any problems. I do worry about one thing and I prevent it from happening with the tools DHGATE provides me with. I make sure that I order from sellers with excellent reputation and volume. Maybe the other sellers are ok too, but I do not take my chances. I know there is Alibaba.com and Madeinchina.com, but I stick with DHGATE
Good prices, worldwide delivery no charge and up till now quality has been better then expected. You need patience because delivery sometimes takes a long time but until now it has been worth the wait
Good products for the price. But if there is a problem, they send you on a wild goose chase and you wind up getting no solution.
I have made a few purchases and have no problems, they send me quick responses on all my questions.
Usually there are no issues, but a couple of times sellers would not honor the pricing so I had to cancel orders. Overall I would give 3.5 stars but I could only give round numbers.
Not had any problems what so ever good quality items shipping can take a while but there you go a small price to pay
Be very careful when you receive items to make sure it's what you ordered. I ordered a soccer jersey for MONTERREY, the seller sent me a jersey from MONTREAL. The worst part, I HAD TO PAY TO SHIP IT BACK IF I WANTED A REFUND! Are you kidding me? It's not like it didn't fit, then I understand for ordering the wrong size. But they 100% screwed up the order, and I get punished as if it was partially my fault. Incredible!
Since i began to shop un DHgate, every time it was a wonderful experience, i find a solid team, working to be better every time, they value the time of customers, and support them anytime, i am very glad with them, and sure i will buying their products, and recomend they to my friends.

Only one ítem bought was not received, Other bad experience is related to the quality expected of shoes (it is to say the number of shoes dont follow strictly the standard of US or Europe).
The timing of delivery is high between China to Chile (2 to 3 months), but it is assumed.
They provide very good products at almost a cost price which is very good, the only issue is waiting on the stuff to come to Canada from China lol
Good for small ticket items but buyer beware. Ordered a laser cutter but the vendor was a scam artist. Even though it was quickly evident that the vendor provided a fake tracking number, DHGate stalled on providing a refund. It took almost a month before I got my money back.
Serious site that harbours a great variety of items. The sellers are often fast to communicate and handle your questions. Payment is easy and reliable and I have under my five-six years as customer few complaints other than the usual delays around the Chinese New Year that stops almost everything once a year. As European I have had to figure out the differences in Asian sizes but with that done I now usually get it right. /Peter
