Same day I filed dispute the seller shipped my item. Asked for a refund not to have item shipped 2 months later after I had bought elsewhere. DHGATE sided with the lying seller of course. BEWARE OF DHGATE. Not going to cover the consumer. All about covering its lying sellers.

I ordered two orders to two different addresses from one seller. Well I never received either package. Contacted the seller and the seller says the tracking shows delivered. I open a dispute with DHgate thinking they will help me because they hold the funds from the seller until delivery is confirmed, right? WRONG. I open the dispute and show them my local post office doesn't have the tracking numbers provided. They give the seller TEN days to respond to my dispute and then give me just ONE day to contact the local post office (which was a Sunday when usps is closed) before they release the funds to the seller. Guess what happens? As soon as the funds are released the seller deletes their shop/account. So even when I try to escalate the issue DHgate is now telling me there is nothing they can do since the seller is no longer on their platform. They offer me a $5 coupon on my next DHgate order while I'm out over $100. Just don't do it guys, it's not worth the risk.

I attempted to purchase a lymphatic drainage machine from this company only to find out they had stolen my personal information, along with my money. DO NOT. I REPEAT-- DO NOT-- ORDER FROM THIS SITE. The owner "johnny" was extremely rude and takes advantage of customers. I was told there would be issues with getting past customs, told I had to "verify" my money by providing ID and bank "authorization". Needless to say, all my bank accounts have been closed, fraud alerts have been put on all my assets/credit and an investigation is being done. Some of my personal info was changed/tampered with. So ontop of losing 600 dollars, I now have to spend the entire day protecting my assets.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

Never received my order and now can't login to my account to view my order even though I am using the password that I wrote down when I made the profile and had saved on my phones password for quick login. When I try to say forgot password the website says that its an invalid email so there is not way of getting my money back. Tracking number has said for two months now that the order is still in China, whereas when I could access my account it said that it has arrived in Australia more than month ago. Don't buy anything from here it's a scam!

This company sent me the wrong product and had the nerve to suggest a five dollar refund. The boots I order or a completely wrong and after going back-and-forth or days their suggestion is a five dollar refund. Do not order from here

Scam! When you don't recieve item 3 months after ordering they want you to go to post office and speak with customs. If you don't get a letter from customs they won't allow case to be refunded. Lost $130. Another item I accidently ordered 2. I canceled immediately yet never received refund. Dh gate ask you to wait 15 days for refund. They don't send refund and require you to go to your bank and furnish a letter in order to proceed. It's just a run-around game so they end up keeping money.

Save your self the headache and don't buy sketchy stuff from china. I bought 1 (one) purse and the tracking number attached to the order wasn't working, so I messaged the seller. Miraculously the number started working The next day. 2 weeks go by and I see that there's now 2 different tracking numbers for my order (weird). The original number that had the issue, and a new one. 3 weeks go by and i get a package with the original tracking number on it, and inside is a single pair of ankle socks…. DHgate thinks my order has been delivered and will release payment to the seller automatically, but I didn't actually receive the purse I ordered. I asked the seller about this discrepancy and all they had to say was what the tracking for the purse is this other tracking number. Maybe the purse is actually under this other mysterious tracking number, but who knows at this point. I haven't gotten in yet but I don't care I'm leaving a bad review for these shady tactics. And yes, the store had lots of sales and good reviews.

Lots of scammers in DHGATE and the DHGATE won't do anything to help. Their processes are not customer oriented instead they let the sellers (scammer) do what they want. The seller decides whether or not to provide a refund. I bought from DHGATE and created a dispute because the seller wasn't shipping my item after 30 days of the purchase. The seller finally shipped my item so I contacted dhgate to update on my dispute that my item shipped. DHGATE closed my purchase completely. When the item arrived broken, I didn't even have the option to dispute my broken item and request for a replacement or refund. DHGATE closed my purchase and didn't help me. They told me to go ask the seller to agree to a refund. The seller gave me a run around for months and never refunded or sent me a new item.
I highly suggest staying away from DHGATE unless you want your money taken and no product in exchange. DHGATE customer service won't do anything to help you if you are scammed. Customer service will send you to hunt the seller.
