I placed two separate orders for tire rod ends from this company. This was for a 2010 Honda CRV. They did not fit my truck. The mechanic never used them. I returned them to the company. The items were $35.58 each. They reimbursed me $17.00 on one and $24.61 on the other. They reimbursed themselves for shipping stating the shipping changed daily. This was the first and last time that I will ever use the company. I am so disappointed with this company.
Won't honor their 10 Warranty only after 4 months. Pitts in shaft ruined seal. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

In 2016 I ordered struts for my 07 Lacrosse. Ebay posting indicated 10-year warranty. Recently the struts failed and when I contacted them about the warranty, they told me the warranty was only 1 year. I asked them to show me that and they referred me to their website, indicating that it said the 10-warranty started in September 2018. It did not say that and when pressed they told me it was spelled out in an inhouse memo but would not share that with me. They are lying and covering up the truth.

Purchase rotors and brakes, a couple of month later noticed my car not braking good, went back to my mechanic and learn the brake were faulty the seller is saying its outside their 30-day return window. Wheel bearing purchased and installed on 2015 Dodge Journey in June 2021. Failed August 2022 with 17,609 miles on it. Started making humming noise for about 4 days then completely fell apart. Luckily it happened in my driveway. I called Detroit Axle the first day it started humming to get it replaced under warranty. They said they would ship a new one right away. I just had to pay shipping. So I gave them my credit card number and the warranty order was placed. Needless to say; I did not get my wheel bearing in 3 to 5 business days. It took me 6 phone calls over a period of 3 weeks. Was hung up twice, was told the item was shipped and they would expedite it somehow even though it already shipped supposedly, then was told the Texas warehouse didn't have the part and it had to be shipped from the Michigan warehouse, then was told it was lost in the mail. They provided me with a tracking number the first and second time. I ended up checking with USPS and they never received the package to ship. Only a shipping label was printed. Both times. Third time around the item was actually shipped and I received it in 3 business days from the Texas ware house. They charged me $48 for shipping. So I called USPS again to ask how much shipping was on the item and was told shipping was $6.98. So Detroit Axel over charged me about $41 for shipping. Now I have another wheel bearing starting to make noise and am afraid I will have to go through the same fiasco. They eventually honor their 10year warranty but you have to pay for it and fight for it and take some verbal abuse and lying from customer service.

I bought a steering gear from Detroit axle and installed it myself. Shortly after installing the steering gear it started leaking. The core was never returned so I decided to pull the steering gear back out and investigate the leak myself. I found the leak coming from a press fit cap on the bottom of steering gear shaft. When I removed the cap I found that the cap had a hole punched in the side of it from improperly removing the cap the first time. Behind the cap is a bearing cavity that I found full of what I believe is steel shot that is used in sandblasting for cleaning parts. I contacted Detroit Axle and they just wanted more money to send another axle to replace the one that was poorly manufactured in the first place. I highly recommend buying elsewhere.

Bought a left front hub replacement for my 06 duramax, price and shipping were great, installation no issues, 1st use within 1/2 mile wheel became lodged in wheel well at 52 mph and took me into oncoming traffic, over 3500. 00 in damages when this company ran and hid from their dissenigrated hub, my fault of course, should've/could've read these reviews! Real trash of a company that obviously makes tons of money. Proof and credibility supplied upon request.

These pads are sold as ceramic, but after one glance you can see that they are not. The dust and grime from the brake pads is the worst I've ever seen. After a couple of months I removed these new pads and replaced them with my old ones that were still in good shape. Why would anyone sell crap like this?
This was supposed to be an 8 piece set of drag and steering link. When we called to complain, oh well.

We bought cv axles from this company. One part was unusable and one was faulty. They wouldn't refund our money and wanted us to pay $70 shipping to have new ones sent to us. They wouldn't replace both axles even though both were faulty. This company steals and cheats its customers. We strongly urge you to not buy the cheap parts from this unethical company.

I ordered lower rearward/ forward control arms for my 2009 528i BMW xdrive, which I found out they were the wrong ones for my car. I reached out to Detroit Axle advising that I need to return the items in which they told me I have to open a claim with Ebay. I submitted a claim with Ebay like I was advised and Ebay got in touch with the seller (Detroit Axle) so they can send me out a prepaid label. Detroit Axel received the items on 8/29/2022 but never processed my refund. I reached out on 09/06/2022 to see what's going on with my refund and the rep told me that I should have my refund within 48-72 hours. I called Detroit Axel again on 09/09/2022 because I still haven't received my refund. The rep told me that he would have to escalate this to a supervisor. I asked to speak with the supervisor in which she told me that my refund would be processed today (09/09/2022). I received a phone call from another supervisor telling me that they can NOT process my refund and that I would need to reach out to Ebay since I have a claim open with them. I didn't pay Ebay... I paid DETROIT AXEL. I didn't return my items to Ebay... I returned them to DETROIT AXEL. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU!

These people are con artists. I decided to cancel my purchase and get a refund and instead they sent me something I no longer wanted and refuse to give me my refund unless I send the product back. Very dishonest, and doubting I'll get a refund if I do. This unwanted sale has become a hostage situation.

Do not trust this company. There parts do not fit. Did there whole process threw there own app. Parts were conformed by there green check mark. Went to put the parts on and WOW didn't fit. Tried to get my money back but there policy AFTER 30 DAYS. A company that doesn't stand by there products. This is there fault when there own company confirmed it would fit. I'm a very busy person and I had a hard time to get time to do the job. The parts happened to be to small. Go figure stay away from this place shop else where before they say parts will fit.

I'd purchased a pair of front struts from Detroit Axle for my Toyota within 2 weeks the front strut mounts and bearings were bad so I had to pay according to the receipt 650.00 dollars to have the struts removed and installed two strut bearings and mounts on the struts 05/22/2022 all within of 30 days purchasing

Detroit axle sells a cheap product in an even cheaper package. Ordered the item three times hoping it'd arrive by the time I needed it. It was deemed undeliverable every time by UPS. If the product is anything like the package it's shipped in STAY AWAY.

Answer: Detroit Axle wasn't the low ball company but after doing business with them we got low balled.
