Order #******* so I purchased their kit to rebuild the front end of my 2015 caravan in Aug 2020. The first shock a bolt breaks off at the top when tighten it due to metal impurity. No problem the sent me a new one quickly. 2.5 years later they are both making noise and the passenger one whining like it's the steering rack. So I pull it out. It's bent. Then the fun begins with these jokers. Both are shot and they tell me the warranty only applies to one piece of the kit. Then he continues to say they will need the bill from a licensed shop that replaced them. ( it takes 5 bolts to install these) They arent interested in honoring any warranties they are just interested in taking your money and keeping it at all costs as the roadblocks they have to get warranty satisfaction would mean your car is off the road for a week or more. This is all after 40k miles on their 10 year warranty. If by any chance Detroit axle reads this here is the deal.
Not everyone is a criminal, people everyday put their trust in you to furnish parts for their vehicles if they fail there should be zero roadblocks in getting them replaced. It's how good reputations are built and how you get to 3 or 4 stars on reviews up from less than two like you have.
I bought a 13 pc front suspension kit for my 2001 2500 Cummins, they only sent the 2 hubs and when we called customer service she said that the rest of the kit was laying in the warehouse, NOT TO MENTION, this truck is how I get to work everyday and I had scheduled to have it worked on that coming Sunday, the lady on the phone said it hasn't been shipped out yet and she would gaurentee it to me by Saturday afternoon and she would send a confirmation email we would get with in 24 hours, 24 hours go by, no email so I call again on Friday, to find out it's still sitting there and hasn't been shipped out, so at this point I know there's no way it's getting fixed on Sunday, she told me a supervisor would be in contact with us on Friday (Never happened) so I call back today on Saturday, she tells me she has no information on when or where my order is and what's going on with it and I needed to call back Monday morning to figure it out. I'm highly disappointed and HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE GIVING THEM BUISNESS, they are absolutely horrible in customer service and are extremely disrespectful.

Don't buy their crap parts! They did not represent that they would not take them back! It had been past their 30 day policy which they don't tell you when you purchase them. Piss poor business model when they tell you they have a 10 year warranty I hadn't even opened the boxes. Never again

I'm contact this seller several times because the automotive parts i buy from this seller are defective and is a parts can kill my family or other is big liability the rotor for the brakes is made from steel and this steel have to many internal cracks and this can cause the parts be destroy went I'm press the brakes and kill my family and other on the road...also the pads are made from cheap material that causes a lot of noise went i drive the car i want the seller send me the correct parts with out defects is all i want this parts is only used for few weeks please help me because i let the time pass and I'm think eBay have a better guarantee on automotive parts

I just had the most amazing talk with a representative from the company Detroit Axel.
A few weeks ago I had accidentally ordered the wrong set of rotors and brake pads from the Detroit Axel company, thru the Amazon website. And after realizing that the parts were not a perfect fit for my vehicle, i decided to return it. However, I was denied a refund (by amazon).
But lucky for me, as soon as the company Detroit Axle became aware of my negative encounter with Amazon, they immediately tried to reach out to me via different platforms.
Today I finally got the chance to speak with a representative from Detroit Axel, her name was Alexa. She was very professional and gave me the opportunity to express myself by listening to my side of the story. She made me feel very important.
After listening to my story, and reviewing the case, she offered to refund me the money, opposing Amazon's decision. Thank you Alexa! (5 stars for u).
I am very impress with the way Detroit Axel stand behind their products. Is very hard to find a company with decent prices and most importantly great customer support.

I am very dissatisfy, will never buy anything from this compagny.I bought10 pcs FRont n rear rotors & ceramic brake pad … I was never asked for the vin number of my car now they told me I have a restocking fee of $62, THIS IS CALLED THEIF BECAUSE YOUR RESTOCKING FEE IS NOT CLEARLY WRITTEN.

These people have to be thee thee! Worst customer service dept i have ever dealt with. No body has a clue to whats going on.Seems to be alot of run around and scamming happening. I have some friends that will be checking into this company personally after this fraudulant scam they seem to be targeting people with.

This company Detroit Axel is a scam after spending over $230 they are refunding $60 claiming they are used because one rotor was placed on the vehicle and then determined they were the wrong ones. They claim they can not resale them. They just got over on my son after working hard for his own money. Never buy from them or recommend to anyone.

I purchased a rack n pinion, I cancel the order, I was told it was cancel but never received my refund or the product, customer service was a women lying to me thru the phone. I advise anyone that's contemplating a purchase from Detroit axles to look somewhere else like rock auto or parts geek.

I have used DA for all my brake pads and rotors for several years. I have always had fast shipping and have not experienced any issue where something needed to be returned. Not everyone's experience from what I'm seeing, but for me they have been great.

Got to be the worst service ever I ordered brake parts they sent me the wrong rear rotors then the pads were missing from the replacement this has been going on for more than a week now sending everything back I'm done with them I will never buy another thing again and that number that the representative is giving is a non working number don't buy from them you're asking for problems
Ordered a set of rear cv axles for my 93 ls400, shipping took forever, finally received the parts and proceeded to install only to find the spindle side nut from my original axles doesn't fit the new ones, and they came with no hardware. Spoke to customer service after being unable to figure the size out, and they were completely unhelpful, unable to tell me the correct size, and refusing to ship me the nuts I needed to make the parts work, they said I could return them or deal with it myself. Started the return process which after a week of no response led me to try and find a solution myself. Found a nut that worked, installed one size, only the find that the other axle has the wrong size holes for the differential bolts! Everything about my order was incorrect and the only response I received from customer service gave me no information on the return. Will never order from this company again.

Purchased all 4 strut assemblies for my 04 gtp rears are hammering wont warranty them cause they don't keep records i have ordered many products from them and this is the 1st one ive had a problem with and needed warranty i called them i have had same name all my life same phone # and address and email 20 + years cant find my name or any of my info don't buy from them as your warranty wont be there

Order # *******. I ordered a pair of front hub assemblies for my 2014 Nissan Titan. I was sent a pair of hub assemblies for a 2004-2007 Nissan Titan. I didn't figure this out till I had already installed the passenger side one. Hub is exactly the same the only difference is the plug on the abs sensor. No big deal just swap my original ABS sensor to the new hub. I called customer service and explained them the issue. The lady got return approval and emailed me a return label. After chatting with the online customer service several times and talking to somebody on the phone a few times I was finally told my refund had been approved minus the return shipping charge. So now I have to pay for their mistake on sending me the wrong parts. I guess this was my last purchase from this crap show company.
Update: After leaving this review I was quickly contacted by Detroit Axle. My refund was issued within a few minutes. Amazing what they will do to try to get a bad review changed. My thoughts are I likely would never have gotten a refund had I not left a bad review. It's a shame really, I've used Detroit Axle quiet a bit through the years, but will be hesitant from now on.

Bought an axle. Less than 2 days after install it develops a clicking sound. I had already ordered another one to replace my other side. When that one arrived I replaced, the already replaced one. Clicking goes away. Contact the company who informs me they won't help me unless I take it to a certified mechanic to tell me it's bad. Which means I have to pay someone to do exactly what I already did, pay for the install pay for the labor which cost more than the dang part does. They won't refund my money, won't send a replacement and I'm general, won't do anything to help. They said this information is clearly defined in their warrant guidelines. After reading, it is not"clearly" defined and is hidden amongst vague terms. This comapny is trash and will give you the runaround if you buy from them.
If someone from this company would like to rectify this, feel free to contact me but unless it's to offer a refund, we're past the point of an exchange or just smoothing it over.

I wish 100 characters were enough to explain the runaround i got after DA sends the wrong rack, can't provide the correct rack in a timely manner pouring me in a position of sourcing a different rack, then screwing me on a refund and charging exorbitant restocking fee against the credit, all from their error! And now they expect me to cough up another$100 to get the rack i originally ordered? Come on, doesn't the customer deserve better? Order ******* fyi

Woah…these parts are horrible. Rotors are warped and a bearing already needs to be replaced, and they all went on last summer. By breath is taken away.

Do not buy their wheel bearings! They are complete junk!ordered rear and front bearings for my 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe. The rears only lasted 1,000 miles-I returned the bad rear set and they charged me over $50.00 to return them. I got the replacement bearings and they didn't' last 500 miles-I will never buy from them again!

Answer: Detroit Axle wasn't the low ball company but after doing business with them we got low balled.
Answer: For us it has been a scam and we will never order from them again and request you do not. But the choice is up to you.
