I ordered a voucher for 799.00 after giving it more thought I decided the service was not for me. I requested a refund the following day as the website said there was a 14 day return policy. This was March 25th 2013 I have still not received a refund and it is June 12th 2013. I have emailed 5 times and called 3 times and every time they just say sorry for the inconvience we will look into the matter. I have dealt with other online discount sites and have never had a problem before. This site is a scam and should not be trusted. I am through contacting them and will now put in a complaint with the better business bureau. I will never deal with this site again and will definitely let everyone I know know how awful they are.

I bought a few lipsticks from dealathon three weeks ago and received a shipping confirmation three weeks ago as well. However, despite saying the item will arrive in a week after purchase. It has not arrived yet. I tried calling and emailing last week. Both got no response. This morning I called again and was finally able to reach support. They said the item was shipped out last week, and the shipping confirmation I got last month was when it was packaged. I don't really believe her story. How can you let a packaged parcel sit for days let along weeks?! Anyways, she said ill get it in the next 5 business days. Hopefully she's right. Ill update my review in a week.

Total scam

Total scam. My husband paid for an iPad mini cover that never showed. Heard about the scams on CBC as well. Really disappointed and will NEVER give them a dime again. Ignored every inquiry. Wagjag, Groupon, Dealfind are good. DEALATHONS SUCKS AND ARE THIEVES/CRIMINAL. BUYER BEWARE.

Selling fake Chanel no 5. Kiera Knightly NEVER represented no 5, only Coco Madamoiselle. The box is the wrong colour and her picture is on it. It smells nothing like real no 5. My money was refunded immediatly but I cannot believe they are still selling counterfeit items on the site.

I guess I am luckier than some other Dealathons customers; at least I received a product, albeit the wrong product. No response to my emails or calls. I did get a response from the president, David Magazzinich (*******@gmail.com) but my issue still remains unresolved. I agree with Lisa B's advice: file an online complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Horrible business!

Horrible business! I will never buy anything from them again. I made a purchase and their so-called voucher never appeared despite my credit card being charged. They didn't return numerous e-mails for months and when they finally did, they told me they would e-mail me a voucher (that never appeared) and that I could only use the value I paid for it! I requested a refund and have never heard from them again! Contact your local better business bureau and share on Facebook to prevent your friends from getting scammed!

You guys are all lucky. I didn't even get the cheap junk I ordered. They just stole my money and gave me nothing. Customer service said they'd do something a few days before my Paypal deadline (which I didn't know about) basically stringing me along enough to seal the deal. Thieves.

I was told by one of their "Deal" providers that they can't take more appointments because Dealathon is not paying THEM. Have sent in my refund request. Will post back regarding this.

I wish I could give "0" stars. I emailed them (no response), emailed two days later (no response), emailed two weeks later (no response), called them (inbox was full), called them and left a message (no response), called them (FINALLY SOMEONE ANSWERED YAAAAAYYYYYYY).

Customer service is terrible and the girl on the phone didn't seem too concerned that the mechant did not give the full spectrum of services. She offered me a $20 credit and I was out $100.

BUYER BEWARE … If you really need to purchase from Dealathons.com please use a credit card where you can easily dispute the charge(s). I am an avid user of the deal/coupon/voucher sites and have not encountered such lack of respect to their customers and poor quality vendors (basically scammers). In my case I requested a refund for a voucher which specified they accepted paypal which after much effort found out the dealathons vendor no longer accepted payal. The vendor did not return my many emails and phone calls pertaining to this issue … instead I was informed from paypal themselves. I then proceeded to contact dealathons numerous times via email and phone (if anyone answered it was always ‘the person you need to speak with is not in right now I will have her call you back'). Suffice to say they never ever called or emailed me back. To-date I still have not received my refund nor a reply. Nice. March 14,2013 - After finally submitting a detailed complaint to Ontario Better Business Bureau dealathons.com sent me an email (remember this is the first email from them ever regarding this refund) 'asking' if I rec'd their 'email money transfer'. March 20,2013 - Finally! Successful refund from dealathons.com through a claim filed with BBB. You must keep your BBB claim open until you actually receive your refund monies in your account. Dealathons.com still tries to scam you (and BBB) to believe they have already sent you your refund when they did not and cannot supply you with any such documentation. Stick to your guns! Good luck everyone!

Terrible - Half of my purchases didn't even go through because they misinformed the public of what the companies wanted to offer. I am STILL (4 months later) waiting for my reimbursement of $300. I will never fall for this Dealathons trap again.

I did not subscribe this site, yet I started getting emails directly in my emails account. The Unsubscribe Instantly link doesn't work at all and the Why Did I Get This link says you subscribed on our website. No, I didn't. I've unsubscribed using a 2nd link under the Why Did I Get This. I could swear I had already done this though and still continue to get them.

In November, I purchased a deal for this company called Racing Box for my boyfriend for christmas. It was a 200 dollar deal. I wasn't positive that this was the gift I wanted to give him so I was happy that they offered the 14 day refund policy on the website because I hadn't seen that on other deal websites. A few days later I ended up returning it and called the Toronto number to do so. I was told I would receive my money within 5-10 business days. I called back 2 weeks later as I still hadn't received my money and the girl who answered said "could it be that you just don't see it in your account?" she said she would send an email to the accounting department and contact me by the end of the day. She didn't contact me so I waited another two days and called back. The same girl answered the phone and I explained the situation again and she said the exact same thing "I'll send an email to my accounting dpartment to have them look at it." I waited another week and called back again. Same thing!. It is now January 3 I called today an the same girl answered and was about to give me the same answer until I said I wanted to speak with someone in the accounting department directly. She told me they weren't available until later today so I'll have to call back. I plan on calling back but as of right now I am so frustrated with this service and will never be using this website again.

Purchased an item (Dec 8) for a Christmas gift from a deal where it advertised receive in time for Christmas. Despite being assured through the contact form, and three time weekly phone calls, I was never provided with shipping information or a tracking number. The item I ordered was not received by Dec 24, which leaves me having to go shopping Christmas eve instead of spending time with family.

Tried calling Dealathon Friday, Dec 21 and Monday, Dec 24, but they're not answering their phones, and their voicemail is full. Not surprising, since I am pretty sure I am not the only one.

Dealfind (different site) is fantastic. Never have had a problem and their service is superb. I don't recommend Dealathon at all.

If I could give it a minus 10 I would. They have no customer service at all. I had a voucher for lazer treatment and the voucher was voided for no reason. I have paid 200 dollars and didn't get the services done. I have been calling and calling and the so called manager, David said he would take care of it and gave me hbis extension number. I have called 20 X and he is not at that number. There was a woman who said that David was away in meetings most of the time. This whole voucher thing was from over a year ago and still no refund, no credit for their site, ZILCH. Buyers beware!

I bought a voucher, it said wait 24hrs b4 redeeming, I did. When I "tried" to redeem my voucher it said "invalid voucher code" & now it says to wait 72hrs to redeem. I wait the 72 hrs & "try" again, I enter my voucher number & AGAIN it says "invalid voucher code". I have called them SEVERAL times & only get voice mail, I have left several messages & emails w/no response at all...
Will "try" again in the mirnini, but judging by these reviews I'm not going to like what's to come.
