It was very good, the sales men were helpful in fitting the helmet before it was ordered as well for when I came to pick it up.
I've bought a dozen or so items from Cycle Gear. The in store service has been great at the Thornton, Colorado location. And the other day one item in my six-item order was inexplicably delayed. As soon as I contacted customer service the problem was fixed. And Kelsie was so helpful. Much appreciated.
Staff are experts. They want to make sure you are actually going to want to use your gear. They made me feel well looked after and helped me learn more since I'm a greenhorn in motorcycling.

I asked for clear pinlock insert for Simpson visor. They ended up ordering a replacement visor instead of just the insert. Store manager was very apologetic when reordering and got the correct product ordered
Time for new Metzlers, replaced roadtec Z6 with roadtec Z8. Tires ordered in store got call they were in two days later. Brought rear wheel in, mounting done in less that 1 hour. Great staff, Great products
My local cycle gear did not have the size of Sedeci helmet I needed so they ordered it to come to the store so I could try it on there in case it didn't fit, they would return it. I had no problems and it was quick, the same week I ordered it, I had the helmet m all good!
Went to my local store and they did not have the size medium seat pad that I needed but the guy offered to order it and have it sent to my home and I had it within a few days. I was out of the shop in 10 minutes and what he said would happen, happened! That's not always the case, so I am happy.
The employees at this store are great my favorite store to go to.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
