The only reason I go to a brick-and-mortar store for my motorcycle gear is the store manager, Aaron. He helps with recommendations and installations.
I have to date order many things online through revzilla/cycle gear online and have not had any issues. There has only been a couple of times that a delivery was delayed. Overall i am happy with the online service.

I ordered my Perelli tires on a Friday and received them on a Sunday. Very pleased with the shipping, ease of access on the website, and the speed of it all.
My tire was delayed a few days but it looks like it was a shipping issue. My biggest issue was having to pay an extra fee to dispose of my old tire. I paid a tire waste "disposal" fee when I bought the tire online, so why charge an extra fee at the store? I wound up just taking my old tire with me & avoided paying the extra fee.
24" circumference, long oval head. XXL fits snugly. Good ventilation. Not too noisy. Interior drop down sun shield works with prescription eyeglasses.

Cycle Gear had the motorcycle helmet in the color and size that I wanted. Ordering was easy and delivery was fast.
I ordered this helmet for the wife using the helmet sizes in the local shop. But this helmet seems a bit tighter than the ones in the shop. Hopefully it will expand a little after some use.

They did not have that helmet in the store to try on in a XXL but the staff was very helpful with a similar style in an XL witch was to snug so ordered the helmet in XXL and they had the best price an free shipping. It is an older style and dose not have the newest tek. But was very happy with the sound quality and the battery life. Would recommend it to others If you don't need mesh. Everything was great. I've very much enjoyed my overall customer experience with cycle gear, the products, the prices, and the shipping times. The only negative I've experienced is my inability to use a coupon code that was sent to my email. It gives me an error code any time I've tried to use it with online purchases.

I usually have my orders delivered in store to avoid porch pirates. It's easy and the store clerks call to jet me know it's arrived.
It was disappointing to me that CycleGears's store did not have the inventory of weights needed to give me a fully-balanced installed tire. I bought the tire frome CycleGear; went to the store with my front tire removed; paid $30 for mounting and balancing; but came away with an apology from the store stating that they could not exactly balance my tire. I was told to bring it back at some future date. BUT this means I have to again remove it and make ANOTHER trip back in if I wanted perfect balancing.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
