The helmet I bought at the store came with a 90 day return policy IF I didn't wear it. I wore it on a ride and it caused a break on my skins on my forehead. I assumed I could return the helmet and you guys would be able to sell it. I $#*! U ME wrong! So, I bought another $700 helmet and I am trying to sell the first one on eBay. That's the part that sucks. But, lesson learned.
Received the product and installed it on my second helmet.

Great customer service. Arrived the day of my son's bday so that was perfect. He put on the Icon Field Armor 3 Vest and jumped on his bike and I felt a bit better knowing he had some protection. He loves it -says it fits great, feels comfortable. Thanks Cycle Gear!

My experience with the Sales Personnel at the Lomita, CA store has always been great. I went to the Lomita store to purchase a Cloesout Bell Bullitt Carbon Helmet (it was, buy a helmet over $320 & recieve a free Cardo Communicator weekend). My size was not instock at the store, the helmet had to be ordered. Since the helmet was ordered on the stores computer/register, it would not sell the Cardo to me for free. The manager was not in that day, so I came back when the manager was in. She corrected the sale and my new helmet has a Cardo. The sales personnel at the Lomita store have always been very helpful & informative.
The online purchase was simple and fast. The product was instock for a good price. It eas a three day delivery time.
Love Cycle Gears Sunbit option. But have issue with their shipping times. Also, product quality is hit or miss. Things are not always represented as they should be and sometimes can be promoted but are not fully explained as they should be.
The purchase of my new Shoei helmet went very well. I received a... free... Cardo with my purchase. I waited one week, for delivery. The Cardo speakers were installed incorrectly. Incorrectly so much they bruised my ears. I have pictures! Not Good!
After speaking with the manager about the best size to purchase, I ordered the jacket online and not only did it arrive on time but it fits! I was nervous because I ordered a jacket that was 2 sizes larger than my regular size.

You put lazy people as managers and what should have been a simple tire swap. Turned into a $#*! show. No text, call or email when it got to the store. I had to email yall. Then I bring in my rim as normal. The the lazy mam bun kid that was just standing around talking to 3 of his friends. Not shopping bull$#*!ting. I went look at a new bike cover and heard them just talking. The other boy was walking up and down the sales wall trying on helmets. So he finally came to the counter and the mam bun. Told him he cant. Because of a tpms. I've worked in shops like that. Yall hire monkeys that can't work a tire machine.
Well then I find out he said there was a 24hr turn around. Really on a $#*!ing tire. In a store with no customer.
Well I come in the next morning. Then I get charged for a tire mount. After I bought the tire through yall. Then I had to buy a tpms because mam bun broke it.
Don't have a clue why people are warning other bikers to stay away.
I belong to the American legion. We have around 1500 bikes in the 5th district. 16 post. Your store has a $#*!ty rep.

That was one of the best stores in Jacksonville when I started dealing with them about 5 years ago. Yall had some good people in that store. Then bring in a new manager and they run the good off and keep $#*! like man bun.

Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
