It was easy to find what I needed. The only hicup was when checking out, the page kept reloading over and over. Received the items. Like the glasses but there were two issues. One it is sort of uncomfortable on the nose area as glasses are not flexible in that area. The other is the transitioning of the glasses. During sunlight, they were not dark enough like sun glasses. Work great at night. Didn't have to carry multiple glasses in case of going from sunlight to night. The Helmet is ok. Not my style as it sits bulky. It sits super high on the head. Sizing is different as I'm an XL but had to exchange for a L helmet. Other than that I'm satisfied with the purchase
Im a new biker. I went to cycle gear to get all of my gear. The employees were very helpful in guiding me in what to get and different options to fit my needs. I ended up wanting a white helmet and they didnt have the specific style I wanted in stock so I ordered it online. I accidentally sent it to the wrong store though but everyone was so willing to work with me and get it figured out! I love my gear- stylish, safe, and excellent quality.
The Cycle Gear Was Very Tentative and Thorough With Updates Regarding My Order & When My Order Arrived They Were Able To Help Me Haul The Parts To The Nearest Shop. Awesome Team
Saw a helmet that was not in stock at my nearby store. The staff was courteous and helpful in ordering one for my pickup. Helmet arrived to the store in a reasonable time frame and has been satisfactory to my needs.
The helmet is excellent. Overall shipping is slow. You would think for a $900 helmet, you would provide expedited shipping without additional cost.

Easy to navigate and search and follow my order status with tracking. Only advice I have is that in product pictures, I have to click the link to see other images, where most other sites allow you to scroll or press left/right buttons to navigate through available product images. Annoying, but not a deal breaker.
I have now ordered a few different items from Cycle gear and every time has been an easy experience. Whenever I had a question, it was promptly answered. When I wanted to request a refund or exchanged because a jacket didn't fit, they accommodated me. When I called to ensure a part fit my specific model and year of bike, they weren't afraid to tell me they didn't know and got back to me later when they did have an answer.
This shopping experience went smooth. I placed the order in the store, upon arrival I was informed by E-Mail and phone call that the products were available for pickup.
Tire selection was limited. Front tire available rear tire was not. Not convenient.
Many events or factors in recent history have an effect on our inventory. We work with numerous distributors and vendors and try to have inventory available or access to inventory. Despite how hard we strive sometimes various products are not readily available. I bought this jacket to ride in cooler/wet weather and it works great keeps me dry and warm in the spring. In the hot summer month take the liner out and stay cool on hot rides
Store personnel were very helpful. Helmets have been downsized. My present 5 year old HJC helmet is a large. The Xl in the store was too small. No 2X in the store. The 2X I ordered is also too small. HJC doesn't make a 3X. I'll be returning the helmet.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
