Kearny Mesa cycle gear has always been great in my experience. The weakest link is FedEx, but Im not blaming Cycle Gear on that.
Nothing special. They delivered when the salesman said they would. It was the right product. I gave an extra star on shopping experience because they had the product I had been looking for.
Found a 30% off helmet. Shipment arrived in just a few days. Very happy with the packaging.
I really don't like to shop. I do my research and figure out what I need or want. I knew what I wanted and it was on sale so I bought two. Smooth and quick.
My experience is I received an email that the Shoei helmet I wanted was on sale so I purchased it. It arrived when they said it would and in perfect order.
I got my items quickly and everything is what I expected. Great experience
Got these pads for a used 2XL Joe Rocket jacket I bought. They fit inside the jacket, only gripe I have is that they are a little small for the pockets, mainly the back protector. It slides to the bottom of the pocket and feels like poor positioning on my back. To correct that I put it in and then put in the original level 1 protector over it. That seems to be keeping the new armor in place.
Our shopping experience was fantastic. Allison really knows her stuff and when I mentioned a specific color I wanted, she was able to quickly research and find me a helmet that works for me! The delivery of both helmet and goggles was quick.
Helmet was perfect, sizing was off (my big head, high crown) local store helped right away got new replacement same day, great service from a new customer. Thx
This was my second time ordering off the Cyclegear site and was just as good as the first
Best shop for moto gear and accessories. Always have what I need and shipping times are quick with rpm.
In-store support was helpful and appreciated. I will likely return for future shopping. The order was placed in the store but the 10% discount for first online/member order was not applied.
We have used this location many times. The staff is always helpful and friendly
Cycle gear has been the best shopping experience both online and in store
After ordering my gear on line for delivery to the local store, I received an email telling me when my order would arrive. On that day I received another email letting me know my order had arrived. When I arrived at the store, my order was quickly retrieved and I was able to try it on before leaving the store. As it didn't fit, the return was a breeze and another email was waiting for me at home confirming the return.
The online experience, communication, emails, and tracking info was the same as Amazon. Since that's my general benchmark, they were on par.
I love than they have parts, I wish the stores had more bike-specific stuff and a broader selection of sizes, but I understand the need to maximize floor space, only stock what moves. Etc..
Very happy with product and order experience through website
Looked, found what I was looking for. Read reviews, ordered.
Navigating was easy, as was searching the site. I would like to see more than 3 face shield options for my helmet, though.
Answer: Your local dealership will almost inevitably be superior to CycleGear, in every respect. The reason for that is your local dealership will cease to exist if they don't offer their customers the service, support, and products that they are looking for. You might not find it on the shelf right then, but every dealership has the ability to order in what you want and they will price it fairly, because they know that you can go elsewhere. These internet retailers need to be put out of business, by us. All we have to do is shop locally.
Answer: There's nothing legit about the website. They have stores in many different cities around the US, but their customer service is almost as bad in-store, as it is from their corporate call center and internet department.
